I didn't know this was a thing-I asked about this a page or so ago but didn't really get a solid response (it was more of a "is there a separate alert tone outside of regular notifications in the once chat"). If this is a thing I'd definitely like to be in the alert group for Wave 4 as well! Both me and the bf need Charizard (his fav Pokemon is Zard) and I wanted to swing it as an anniversary gift for our one year, so any help would be greatly appreciated! :3

Anyway, I was this close to getting Dedede but dumb employee went and sold it when she told me to my face that she was gonna hold it for me today if the person it belonged to didn't pick it up yesterday... and she sold it to someone who wasn't that person!

Haha! That meant no Waluigi Amiibo! I told people that we wouldn't get any Waluigi Amiibo for Mario Party. They mocked me and laughed at me because they actually though that every characters in Mario Party is going to get Amiibo, including Spike.
So who might have last laugh now? I wouldnt count this as my victory yet.
Only 9 O_O for now...I'm ok with no Daisy if it means another Rosie figure. Shame they don't have a Toadette figure but hey. Less strain on my wallet, right? Kind of want Mario Party now hmmm...
Maybe they realized it's too much of a hassle to do an entire set of characters? Smash is huge and hard to maintain alone.
Honestly putting all of the characters in amiibo form doesn't seem appealing since all they do is release new boards. They are already releasing 49ish Smash characters this year along with Mario Party and who knows what else. I hope most of the amiibo lineups are roughly only 5-8 characters. For collectors like me collecting these toys are going to add up eventually.

I guarantee you Toadette, Daisy, Waluigi, and Spike will get amiibos with full support in MP10. They're just not showing support for them in-game yet because they haven't been announced. They'll patch them in once they're released.

We live in a world where people have paid over $100 for Wii Fit Trainer and $200 for a pre-order of a Mario re-paint. There's pretty much no amiibo Nintendo could make that wouldn't sell. And how well MP10 itself does doesn't really matter (though it'll easily sell fine enough) because it's a minor patch and odds are the support is already there, just waiting to be enabled.
Neither has a new DK amiibo. But they all absolutely will come as well. Hell, Rosalina, Wario, and DK all have in-game models that were clearly designed for amiibos.
There have been 6 announced SMB amiibo figures. There are 7 characters in MP10 without announced SMB amiibo figures. Just about the perfect size for a wave 2, don't you think? There is no doubt in my mind they are coming.

I mean...they made one for Wii Fit Trainer. Spike, yeah that makes sense, but the other 3 are an odd choice.
I guess comparing them to the ones that did get an amiibo, it makes sense to put a focus on your main characters overall in popularity rather than finding out your lesser known ones are selling out and making people mad.

Nope. No one has said that. In fact, Nintendo World Store sold some this weekend. So if you want to take the plunge, go for it but don't count it out just yet. Especially since Nintendo just announced they were starting up amiibo production again for the older ones in Japan. I expect it to follow suit in other regions as well. And don't forget, people thought Marth was out of the game and when Codename: STEAM comes, he'll be out again.
