To buy, but not to stream.

Yeah seems like it's only on it if you bought it.

Made the mistake of thinking you could access it through the play store. Seems it only works for me since I own it.

Just finished the album. Not sure if I like it more than GKMC..., but it's in my top 3 this year so far. I gotta give it another listen

I really dig the production, love the funk!

Gonna need to give it more spins but I'm enjoying it so far. Currently on Complexion

So asked my brother to let me use his spotify account. Still pissed that play music doesn't have the album yet, :S.

Anyway, listened to the first few tracks so far and loving this album. I love the fact that its more like section 80 than GKMC.

Had to listen to u before I started from track 1. God damn kendrick, God damn. Love it.

Top songs for me:
These Walls
Alright
King Kunta
How Much A Dollar Cost
You Ain't Gotta Lie
2nd half of 'u'
The Blacker The Berry

This is amazing so far. Right up my alley. Going to piss off people expecting another GKCMC
This is how I feel. GKMC is one of my favourite albums, but I love that Kendrick went down a different path here. It's so soulful and groovy, it goes down smooth.

Momma - Hood Politics - How Much A Dollar Cost is a fantastic run of tracks.

Loved it on first listen, need to spend a bunch more time with it to really understand it though I feel. There's a hell of a lot to unpack in this, but it sounds amazing start to finish. Probably liked the second half of the album more than the first, should work out why.

Fave tracks: Wesley's Theory, u (second half has one of the weirdest and most emotive deliveries i've heard in a hip-hop song), Momma, Hood Politics (best beat on the album), How Much A Dollar Cost, The Blacker The Berry, You Aint Gotta Lie, Mortal Man

Least fave tracks: These Walls, Alright, For Sale?

People need to get off that "if it ain't broke..don't fix it" shit expecting another GKMC. I remember when folks were complaining about The Cool not being another Food and Liquor. It's silly to expect the same damn album or a album with similar traits, when you can expand your artistry and bring something new and creative to the masses.

That being said...this version of "I">>>>>>>

Just finished it. Really conflicted thoughts, but overall this is a challenging album for people expecting hip-hop. This is largely a mix of many genres - and it's done incredibly well, better than I would've expected. But it's a highly eclectic and weird album on first listen. Most tracks completely change within themselves. Really convinces me that Kendrick has been going through some dark and life-changing feelings since GKMC. Don't know what happened but something changed. This album is definitely a material version of anger, confusion, and realization. Gonna need another listen, but man this will be such a divisive album.

I love the funkadelic/soulful approaches of this album. I can see myself jamming/relaxing to it a lot more then I could with GKMC

before people come in all "bu-bu-but underground rappers!":

this is such an insane album for a mainstream rapper to put out. Seems like such a "fuck you" to the industry...makes Yeezus almost seem tame in comparison.
