If they remove the dice exploit I'll be so angry
...They wouldn't.
Would they?

Maybe only in the air, on the ground I rather move and shoot without having a special move happening.I agree. There's no reason that the Shoot button can't be given the same input combinations as the Melee or Style buttons.
Well they just lost a sale because its digital only and I'm going to assume a lot of folks will probably be doing the same thing.
It will be $40.Do we know yet how much this will cost in the states?
I'll preorder first day it goes up on Steam to give Capcom as much incentive as they need for more mainline, internally developed entries in the series.
My only qualm is that I really do want a well-reasoned explanation (in the internal logic of the universe) for Vergil's presence here. It always seemed to me like there was room to build him into the mythology of the game and engineer and return, but I have doubts that 2 cutscenes will do it. If they're going to flub his return, I'd almost rather they saved him for 5.
wild new pipe dream: UMVC3 alt palettes for Dante/Vergil
need that white coat Dante and some Dmitri Vergil
It will be $40.
If the cutscene is canon then it most definitely is taking place before DMC3.
This releases on the final day of E3...
You know what, I'm sure it's a coincidence. I am not going to get myself that hyped.
It's called a flashback. The cutscene might be canon but the game play isn't. It's similar to thr Vergil campaign in DMC3SE.Huhbuhwha? But the events in game take place well after 3. You think the idea is that they will completely recontextualize the levels and bosses?
Also, do we have any precedents for a series releasing a remaster/se around E3 with the announcement of a new entry in the series?

Oh, not this again. Giving me Ace Attorney De Ja Vu. So you would rather they not make any more in the series? Buying the game digital-only and surprising them with the results is the only way to possibly get physical releases in the future. They assume the series has a limited audience here so they don't want to risk a physical release. We, as an audience, have to prove them wrong in the only language these decision makers understand.
Guardian plsAnyone know what else Takashi Fujii, the producer, has done? I can't seem to find anything concrete on him.

DMC4SE isn't listed, but it should be the same one.

So good.
I was hoping Vergil would have a vagabond look now, since I'm assuming he's kind of just been wondering around, lurking in the shadows. And omg playable Lady! The hype was already real, now I'm just salivating.

They will announce DMC 5 there and it will be coop starring Dante and the deuteragonist (and the main female character) of the franchise, Trish.

So now that I can watch the trailer with sound (not at work), Vergil in the trailer says "so they worship a demon as a god?"... So where would this line be in the game.... Maybe more to Vergil's campaign? (fingers crossed)..

Yah I know Dante says it, but who would Vergil be saying that to is my question... I don't think it's just teaser fuel..who knows, its the exact same line Dante said when speaking with Lady, would not be surprised if it was there just because.
Does this remaster come with a photomode?
Holy shit, I made that gif.
Vergil at least has two cinematics to his credit. Whatever they may showcase in those will likely be the most story he may get for right now.
Trish – Resident badass since her first appearance in the first Devil May Cry’s opening cutscene, Trish does away with the need for weapon switching, instead utilizing the versatile Sparda sword, her pistols, and her bare hands in a variety of inventive ways. Trish allows players to fight with relatively few buttons, but is still quite a deep character with an awesome move set. Trish will be playable on Dante’s missions.
Lady – Playable for the first time, Lady specializes in long-range, firearm-based combat, making the game feel completely different. Her signature weapon, the Kalina Ann, features a grappling hook which allows her to traverse environments similarly to Nero, among other applications. Lady will be playable on Nero’s missions.
It was in the Capcom unity update earlier today, exciting stuff! They just updated the Steam Announcement page and confirmed that Trish will be playable in Dante's sections and Lady will be playable in Nero's:
I know we were kind of assuming as much, but this is confirmation.

Why put that limitation? i mean its not like there is much difference, but still seems weird.

edit: lol forget it, was just the time has come.Yah I know Dante says it, but who would Vergil be saying that to is my question... I don't think it's just teaser fuel..
edit: I guess he could be saying it to himself I suppose...
both are great, but DMC 4 has more options, while DmC more streamlined controls.I'm not much of a combat expert, and I'm kind of new to "character action" games, i did however love Bayonetta 2, and always wanted to get into the DMC games, but can I ask, if i should get the DmC: DE or wait for this, what game has the deeper combat system between DMC 4 and DmC?
