Pretty shitty thing that my PS4 is doing the damn eject disc bug constantly. I can't play Bloodborne for more than 15 minutes at a time. Gonna have to get my console serviced before I play anymore.

I was messing with gesturing at the Doll, and accidentally threw a molotov at her.

She's not dead, and she's not mad at me, but goddamn I feel fucking terrible about it.
 
What. I made a pre-order of the digital version yesterday, but received a mail earlier today that I had insufficient funds on my card.

So I just transferred some and prepared to pay for the game, but now it's pre-loaded and ready to go on my PS4.

What gives? Did I just receive Bloodborne for free? There's not even a reservation on my card and that usually always happens. I suppose they'll charge for it later. O.o
 
Really digging the combat changes. It still feels exactly like Dark Souls, but tweaked. Have only scratched the surface of pistole/riposte and so far the lock-on is kinda self-sabatoging with so many enemies attacking at once.
 
Is it worth waiting to play the game for the first patch to finish? It looks like it'll take a while to download. What does it do besides online stuff?
 
I'm watching the Giantbomb stream, and I've decided to give the souls series another chance. I couldn't quite get into Demons Souls, but I didn't hate it either. It might be wishful thinking but the tweaks to the combat pacing and the new dodging look like just enough that it'll click this time.

I saw a UPS truck in my neighborhood in the late morning/early afternoon when I was out for a run yesterday. I'm just getting impatient. I want to play Bloodborne!

that woman is for the pvp, from what I understand when she appears you are able to invade or getting invaded.

honestly fuck the female Hunter, I'm thinking of killing her now because I just want her weapon, if the whole thing is bugged and she disappears I'll probably end up playing the whole run with the cane. rip

i dont know about others but i do not co-op during the first play-through ;p

But seriously, the game was released 14 hours ago. Not everyone can take the day off of work to play the game. Give it more than half a day and you'll likely see an increase in activity.
 
I'm finding plenty of stuff for not being vary far in the game. About 7 hours in and 2 bosses down, I have 5 trick weapons, 6 off-hand weapons and three armor sets.

Fashion souls still the best though.

Kirk Hammer is a beast too.

The previous Souls games are addicting because after every death you think "one more try". The shorter load times help in getting you to try again and again. But for this game, that feeling disappears during the load times and it becomes more irritating than it should.

So yeah, I'd say hold off until the patch comes in.

2: there's a messenger hidden in a tree stump in the dream refuge you can give those items to.

4: you need some more materials beside the chalice, but more importantly you need to activate the correct headstone for your chalice.
 
Damn it, bloodborne unlocks at midnight here and I have a job interview tomorrow. Should really go to sleep early to look fresh tomorrow. Allthough the interview isn't till after work..

Did you try unplugging the powercord, hold power button for a few seconds?

That seemed to fix it for me few months ago.
