So am I supposed to continue on through .
beryngarn
after the forest? I can also go through the
nightmare frontier
and I have anew
invitation to cainhurts
though I dunno how to get there.

It's the right-hand fork if you're looking at
Vicar Amelia's Cathedral
. The other way took you to
the forest and witches
. This way will take you to the boss you haven't seen yet.

Thanks I remember now, big big help. Just finishing cleaning the guinea pigs and make my self some food then back into the fight

It powers up enemies and adds tougher ones in certain areas. There was a youtube video that showed the difference - some now had elemental damage added to their blades (blue flames) and extra magic attacks.

This only happens once you go above 25 though. I think. The dude in the video was doing a comparison between like 7 and 27 insight.

I know that part, I meant if you need them for something besides just getting insight? I want to buy the sets in the insight store

Man, the Stake Driver is awesome. I was originally keeping it around for a backup fun weapon when I got bored of Ludwig's (which is really good, but kind of dull), but it's turned into my main weapon. As long as you're willing to play super aggressive and dash into people's faces, you can tear enemies apart.

Is it worth getting Arcane to 15 for the items that use them? I've found
Beast Roar
and
Quickening
so far.

There's an item that gives you an arcane damage buff. 15 arcane req, only works on weapons that are pure physical damage. Probably going to be the 'meta' once more people get to it.

After I nailed the his attack pattern he went down pretty easily. But if you lose focus and panic just one time it's very easy to die. Most enjoyable boss so far, now time to sleep.

Shame noone knows to equip the white armour set with the high arcane resist. You take A LOT less damage from his ranged stuff. There's also a rune you can equip to add +7% resist to arcane which really adds up over the course of the fight.

White armour? Where might I aquire this fine piece of equipment?

Last question,
when in Yahar'gul, if down leads to a boss where does the path with the pigs take you?

I tried helping people out in Central Yahrnam so I rang the bell, but all I got was the "searching" dialog box over and over for 20+ minutes :(

Is there any "trick" to getting connected with people? I don't have a password set up.

yea, his attacks were actually really easy to predict. i just hated the
poison
gimmick. but i found it really fun to fight against in coop.

set up a password with someone here and have them beckon. i met up with two Gaffers here pretty easily and it was pretty quick as well.

Yes indeed.
It's on a ledge above where you find the rest. I had to go around and jump over to another part in order to find it. The Forbidden Forest can be a tricky place for awhile.

Thanks. I'm actually stressed at the thought of exploring that place again, I get lost so easily there

A dead-end I think. There's like some items to pick up and you can open up some of the side doors to the church where you spawn but I didn't actually see anywhere worth going.

It's white robes, not quite armour.
Forbidden Woods, atop a roof in the village. Climb the ladder on the side of the house by all the dog cages. It will be guarded by a pair of crows

There's some good moments, like
the story of Gascogne.

the reason I ask is because i never played the Souls games...so this is my first game and I am enjoying the lore, but people who have played souls would you say this lore is superior or inferior to the souls games?

Ugh, just died in the
sewer due to rats
in the first area. I haven't got a shortcut since the lantern. Did I miss one? I've never played a souls game before, are usually shortcuts this far apart?

7th boss down on my second try. R
om
was a weird fight but pretty easy, I approached it completely wrong the first time.

Fucking hell I've been fighting Father G for almost 2.5 hours now. This is insanity. I've never hated a boss in this series so much.
