Yes, its the good place to send people, although its not without its dangers. The bad place is the Clinic.

Chapel vs Clinic
How do you protect them? In my first playthrough, the old lady and girl died first, then the actual person/thing at the Chapel died presumbly - blood stains where he was

All this time I thought going back to the hub replenished my vials and bullets automatically, then I realized just now it takes it out of my storage. lol

Are the blood splatters in the game bugged or something? 99% of the time I press X on it and nothing happens. It always show the ghost in the "nexus" though.

Loving the game so far!
Still have not encoutered any boss, but I believe it is harder then D. Souls indeed. Quite a time I don't play the Soul series already, but it seems the enemies in Bloodborne are indeed quite more agile and you need to rely almost 100% on agility since you mostly can't block.

damn, that axe is OP as hell.

I chose...poorly

So uh.. very late game question
So I found some freakish eyeball/brain thing in an abyss in Nightmare of Mensis... Can't interact with it or lock on. Anyone know if there's something I can do with this weird thing?

Had my first PVP.

I had him down to 10% health but he killed me because of lag :-(
According to my sceen I had evaded his attack

BTW:
Sony has let us know that there is a progression bug affecting a small number of Bloodborne players. In order to avoid spoilers, we’ll not disclose the specific nature of the bug, but rather what you can do to avoid falling victim to it.

It happens when users attempt to join a game as a co-op guest or invader using the small resonant bell or sinister resonant bell respectively while in the Forbidden Woods. A hotfix is in the works right now, and those affected by the bug will have their games repaired by it.

Sony anticipates it will roll out the patch (1.02) sometime next week. For now, the company suggests that users not use those items until after the patch is available. For more on Bloodborne, check out our review.

^hopefully it fixes the other bug that happened to Kandrick
Part of Eileen's quests

How the fuck do you kill the guy in the cathedral lol

Let him drain his hp down till he pops a vial then lead him to the stairs and throw poison knives and play it safe

As a cane user, this is the first time I see how OP that axe is. Really wonder now how weapon choice affects the difficulty of certain bosses.

Got Gascoine down, beat the hunter NPC's in old Yarnham, now taking on BSB.
I have such ridiculous stacks of shards that I upgraded the axe to +4 alongside my cleaver +4. Let's see if it's any good.

Man, I'm trying so hard to like this pvp, so damn hard. It's super fun when it's 1v1. The exact opposite when it's 2 or more. So many times I get one guy down to low health and when I move in for the kill the friend jumps in, attacks and the the other guy heals up. Gets frustrating after a while, lol.

I'm a cane user too and I have to wonder the same thing. I took down BSB and Rom in one try but had a tough time with the witches. I wonder how much that has to do with the weapon or if I'm just a fluke. I imagine more powerful weapons make short work of those hags.

Old Yharnam talk:

Holy shit, what an area. Everything from the GG man to the creepy ritual chamber to the nighttime werewolf hunt in the streets of a ruined town. And the brilliant fucking shortcuts that let you bypass said creepy ritual chamber. Man, what design!

GG man will have to wait. I tried taking him on a couple times but I couldn't do any damage, and my little pistol wasn't powerful enough to knock him off the tower. His dancing little buddy down below was very easy, though. Just whaled on him with my saw blade.

I got to BSB and almost beat him on my first try. Parrying is super easy with him...he telegraphs every move. I think I can nail him with try number two.

What a game.

During the first phase, clear out the spiders and then go ham on its side. If you keep attacking you can interrupt its teleport and get it down to like half health (maybe lower, but I only ever got that far solo). From then on, ignore the spiders and keep moving to dodge its spells. Run in and hit Rom once or twice and run back out before it does the AOE attack or something. It gets a physical attack in the final phase so watch out for that too, just stay moving all the time.

Someone here posted a video showing the flamethrower against it and it killed Rom before it ran out of ammo. I don't know if you need high bloodtinge or a leveled up flamethrower for that strat though
Thanks.
Almost had him this time, but the mob of spiders from the second phase fucked me up on the third. I think I can get him this time though.

Rom is complete bullshit. You get screwed from every angle.

Just take out the spiders first and then wail on him. I had him down to like 1/4 health before he went into his second form. At that point just ignore the spiders and go right for his soft squishy sides.

Is there any way to reset your stats or would you have to start all over? Right now I'm just winging my stats mostly increasing vitality and endurance and increasing strength if I'm too low for a weapon I want to use.

I try, but then he starts his meteor attacks and one hit kill AOE. Tired of fucking with him. I am going to co-op it.

No way that I know of. Kinda sucks. But your strategy is fine, vit and end always good. I tend to go glass cannon but stats really only matter in High end PvP.

think it as a attrition battle instead of a honorable duel when there's 2 or more.

How does this fight compare to
Freja,
if you played DS2.

I have a question and it's about something near the
Vicar Amelia
boss fight.

When you leave the cathedral and go straight out the front door, you are at a staircase that is to the right of the main staircase leading up to that boss fight. At the top of the stairs there is a ladder to your right, which leads up to a body with the anti-healing mist stuff. However, there is also a body on a ledge with something to pick up (it's right in front of you as you ascend the staircase).

How in the hell are you supposed to get to that ledge? Is it even worth it?
