I really hope there's more to this that just hasn't been found. It's both really weird and disappointing if it legitimately does only affect a few weapons.

Random question: Since we know high Insight does stuff, has anyone managed to get to 99 and see if anything new shows up?

I read that when you get over 40 you can see the invisible hand of death and the guy controlling it or whatever, other than that, I assume more

It was this spider guy, sitting on a door. When I approached the door, he came to life and moved onto a table next to the door and I panic swung

My issue is panicking and then mashing the dodge button haha. I have the timing down only for one or two attacks for the counter, but I still manage to occasionally fuck it up.

After you stun him with a shot and get super close and you'll do that super powerful attack. It takes off like 20% or more of its health. Dont waste your time with regular attacks. I hit it with maybe two or three of those and it was done.

I died 10+ times trying to fight him straight up but after I did the stun to strong attack right it was super easy.

He's on top of the roof of the building where you first meet the Snake-head enemies. You have to go through a door, drop down, climb a ladder, then cross some gears.

it is weird how you get to the "unseen" whatever-it-is, right? With the apogean gaol. How can they be sure you'll die to those enemies? Unless there's a reason to be sure. And also unless there's another path I haven't found. Cos I wouldn't know where to go at this point if I hadn't died to them.

The only thing I think I can do in that part of the game is talk to old chatty mate about a note I found (assuming this is something he'll want to talk about).

Also what caused the door at the right of the safe zone to open?

Lock onto him, it worked for me. Hit him a few times and dodge, don't get greedy. Once he goes crazy pelt him with molotov. I literally hit him with 8 in a row.

Yep. Loading up on cocktails. Really hope the next bosses aren't in an extremely horrible placed area. Your not even fighting a boss, your fighting map layout and camera control. Its absurd.

Have 10 insight, then go to the wishing well through the hunters dream (Not the normal wishing well but the one you access through the house.) At 10 insight the skeleton will appear and can sell you stuff, for 1 insight each you can buy the resonant bell to coop and the one to invade.

Yay, finally cleared the game!
I went with the optional ending, but the last part wasn't as hard as I feared
Too bad that the game throws you back to NG+ immediately after the credits - I wanted to do Chalice dungeon with friends, but now I'd have to go through a large chunk of the game again to access it.

As for the NG+ itself, wow the enemies have so much damage. Event the Cleric Beast hits like a truck for half of my HP and has tons and tons HP itself. After a 5 minute battle I was able to get it to maybe 80%, while during the regular game I beat it on my first try.
Enemy types/placement seem to be the same in NG+ so far, which is a bummer after the interesting spin in Dark Souls 2.

Damn. You're farther ahead than me. Though I've been mostly fucking around with farming echoes and vials and doing a ton of co-op with randoms. I just made it to the Hemwick Charnel Lane lamp with my level 50 hunter. Killed four bosses so far. I played nearly 24 hours so far.
