Just got to Unseen Village, and I can't believe they actually brought back the level design idea I most hated from Demon's and Dark Souls. Please don't tell me the whole area is actually like this shit...

Ah. I was hoping you weren't going to say that. He's the guy giving me hassle right now and he's already cost me an R2 trigger. Almost scared to fight him in case I accidentally wreck the other one. Guess I need to look up a strategy or something cause I'm getting manhandled at stage 2.
You can single-handedly beat him with gun + riposte combo. If you stay close to his face, he only has one or two very predictable moves.

Well I beat the
Cleric Beast
on my second attempt. It was as intense as any boss fight I've ever had, my adrenaline was through the roof! That music...just bloody epic. Then with my newfound confidence, I went back and
destroyed the pig in the sewer
, then I came across
Father Gascoigne
.
Holy shit. I got fucking annihilated. I didn't even hit him once. Not once. I need to start using the gun a lot more. I kind of forget it's there.

I'm about to have another crack, hopefully this time it turns out a bit better.

I think I missed a way to go. I just beat the BSB as my third boss and it seems like a dead end. Am I supposed to do the chalice dungeon? I thought those were optional? I thought I had explored all the ways to go but I guess I missed something.

Go to cathedral ward lamp ...

Dodge left. It attacks so fast that your i-frames will take you through whatever attack it does.

Whaddya mean?

Finally got BSB!

His poison killed me right after but I don't even care. He's gone and that's all that matters. It was a tight fight and my heart is racing.

I think I've been using the same armour now since I was level 15 or something. I've just not come across any. Is it super rare or something?

There is quite a bit. loot and both bath messengers in the dream (insight and echoes).

I have quite a few. Statistically there doesn't seem to be a truly best one, but some have great poison def, others have elemental def etc.

Fire/lightning paper. What weapon are you using and what level is it? She went down pretty fast to my level 5 threaded cane.

I'm only using a +1 Cleaver, that might be my issue. I may need to level it up a bit more. I'll see about using Fire/Lighting paper too, Thank You.

Have any NPC guides been posted online yet? I have a major feeling I've missed seeing major characters. I'll probably go out to look for them in a next playthrough - I plan on playing all of From's dark fantasy RPGs after I finish this - but I'd like to see which ones I can get now, in this playthrough.

I don't know what to do at all. I've been wandering around for ages now, it's slow going because I don't want to die and land right at the start but I still haven't found a bloody lamp!

My guy is drenched in blood and I have 4000 Echo things. I swear my game is broken or something. Are they really this rare?

What? When I got sucked there I was ridiculously underleveled, but it was the most intense area since the tower of latria, it was insane, I barely made it to the lamp after 20+ deaths. It was awesome, I'll go there & get my revenge eventually.

Wow, V
icar Amelia
is destroying me. I got close to beating her earlier with a co-op summon but we both got taken out when she was at 25% health. Any tips on beating this boss?

Use the fire paper/fire itens. It makes the fight easier. And use the healing prevent item (don't remember the name now) when she get's less than 40% of health.

That's probably where I'm messing up then. I managed to breeze through form 1 with charged heavies but form 2 was too fast to rely on the same techniques. I tried the riposte but I was trying them at range instead and a lot his ranged attacks seem to have awkward timings to parry since the wind ups can be long.

I'm not talking about the first time you visit. You'll know where you get there.

FUCK THOSE BIG SACK DUDES

I love them. I think they're level 40 enemies or so. Problem is most players will aggro them much earlier. But they can be slapped, then guaranteed charged from behind and visceral attacked. Beating them early means earlier weapon level up.

The bane of my existence are the Frenzy pole dudes and the absorbers.

About the special ending
On my original playthrough, i didn't get a cord from Ioesfka in the clinic when i killed her, i read that i might have killed her too soon ? Like i needed to wait until i killed Rom before going there ? Also the whore died in my game so no cord from there too. I only ended up with the mandatory one from the wet nurse and the one from the alternate/real hunter's dream. Anyone know a 100% way to get all 3 or 4 before the end of the game so i don't waste my time running through it all again for nothing! Thanks

You need to look for shortcuts (e.g. open that gate in front of the lantern). Also try experimenting with ways to run past guys.

So I can't tell if this is a glitch or not. It's nighttime in the city area, and
every house I visit has the same guy giving me a message, and a tonsil stone.
Also
the little girl who I gave the red pendant to is now gone, her house says no response. Where can I find her?

Can someone teach me about weapon scaling? I've just been putting points into strength because I figured that whats my sawclever levled as
Open your inventory and go to your weapon. See the list to the right? Look for "Attribute bonus". From left to right: strength, skill, bloodtinge and arcane.

The higher the letter (from E to A or S) the better. Level the stat that is the highest.

FUCK IT! I CANT HANDLE IT.

Gonna continue playing now!

Father G and Cleric down on NG+++.

The higher the letter, (e lowest , A or S highest) the more the weapon profits from this stat (Arm is STR, hand is skill)

When you update the weapon the letters get better/higher. Cleaver scales best with STR (and arcance) and then with skill.

A saw cleaver +10 is going to have C with STR and D with skill. Other weapons are going to be higher but you get them later. Keeping STR up is good anyway. Pour some point into skill here and there.

fook. 3:17 am now and i forgot that the clock goes 1 hour forward tonight, so it's already 4:18 am -_-

Good night hunters.
