Shit, I noticed just now something on my table that wasn't "ordinary" ._. It must've been from the stream (that one particular boss).

I can't get co-op or invade to work for me... Maybe I'm not far enough in the game.. I've only beaten the first two bosses but I have the bells.

Goddamm,
rom
is hard. There are like over 100
spiders
when hes down to
25%
. Should I take care those
spiders
first?
No, completely ignore them. They are slow as fuck and you can get at least two hits in before they do anything. Roll away immediately after that.

It's OK. I have a big black mark on my wall from when my controller accidentally slipped out of my hands...

whoops.
"accidentally"

"slipped"

:lol

Ok, I'm in front of the Reborn boss door. Password is HELPLIK.

I'm lvl 60. Tired of dying to him when I get him to almost no health. And I'm tired lol

Tonight was an eventful night in Yharnam for sure.

Spoilers for the Church Hunter NPC and the
[Vileblood Covenant
.

So I get through Castle Cainhurst and take out Martyr Logarius (who is a chump by the way. Why make an optional boss just a big guy with a stick who just begs you to parry him?). I pick up the crown he drops and notice in the item description that it allows the wearer to see illusions and hints that Logarius saw something from his throne. Curious, I put it on and walk to his throne, and it turns out there's a giant hiden room behind it. I go inside and meet the Queen of Cainhurst and join her Vileblood covenant. The church seems kind of suspect anyway, what with housing demon's in the basement and having a bunch of statues of monsters, so I join and swear to be an enemy of the church. Plus, I hadn't found a covenant yet so I was pretty jazzed. There's also a summons to Cainhurst in the room so I grab it.

Now, I know that there's an NPC in the Cathedral area who worked under Logarius, so I put on his dead master's crown and talk to him. I thought we'd fight because I joined the Vilebloods, but he didn't know. I had an option to give him the summons to Cainhurst though, and I assumed that I'd kill him there in front of the Queen to prove my loyalty. I give him the summons and he says he's off to Cainhurst.

I warp to the Queen's chamber and the bastard murdered my Queen! Her guts are all over the room and I picked her flesh off of her chair. I'm pissed as all hell so I attack him and we get into a duel. He's covered in blood and is whacking me with a giant wheel. He probably killed me like 20 times but eventually I got my revenge. Sadly, it didn't bring my Queen back. Off in search of another covenant, I guess...

This game is something else.

I think that was intentional so over aggressive enemies can't follow you too far.
The same happened the dudes and a dog outside the tomb secret passage on the way to Old Yharnam
.
Anyway, what's that set are you wearing? Where to get it?

IIRC it's the black church garb, it came from the part of Cathedral Ward near VA. Somewhere in there.

What did I just stumble across? I bought the 10k item and went outside to find some weird enemy with a sack. I was sorta just looking at him and not really attacking, so he killed me. Then he transports me to a cell. Did I find a secret?

How long does it take for my friend to join? We're both sitting here with the same password and bells rung and nothing is happening. ..

how do you set up a password for bells?

nvm

EDIT: Set the pw to HELPLIK and worldwide, rang the co-op bell. Level 64. I'll give in a minute.

Oh shit, I forgot to save the video of me falling through the entire planet.

It takes a long ass time to fall to your death when you do that

So I'm fairly certain as a 4th souls game, the camera needs some serious work. I should never be staring at floor when close to an enemy. During the R
om
fight, it was incredibly difficult to know when he was going to
launch his volleys if needing to thin the ranks of a few spiders.
Making things increasingly difficult to know what the hell was going on.

Literally the 2nd boss I haven't one-shot because of poor camera. The first was Cleric Beast because, bridges, yo. It's always been a thing with this series and I guess you can say "that's how it is" but it can be done so much better when locked on an enemy. Why does the camera literally need face the exact area of a lock vertically? Tall enemies? Can't see where you are moving. Normal enemies? Nice linoleum, bro.

Aside from performance the damn lock camera has been my bane for every Souls game :(

There's 2 closed door that has been bothering me for some time now.
1 is on the top of the Medical Church Workshop. The 2nd is with the room full of jars next to the Giant with the Ball and Chains.

Tonight was an eventful night in Yharnam for sure.

I haven't done the Alfred killing Queen route yet, but I know if you accidently kill her yourself and the flesh drops, you just use that and she respawns. If it's the same flesh item, try using it and see if he respawns. If you left Alfred alone after he killed the Queen btw, he just kills himself later on because his mission is complete.

so uhhh... whats this game breaking bug with the Key you grab just before the s
pider rom
.... cause i already picked it up? and ya'll got me sweatin....

Holy fuck you can
stop the flying swords by hitting or shooting the sword in the ground

artyr
Lo
garius
? I wish I would have known. That fight took me 10-12 fucking tries.

Yeah took me like 2 tries to notice that.
But they were far from me, and i sure didn't want to go near it so i didn't see the thing on the ground. I was too busy dodging his ass. I killed him after i noticed it heh

When you play co-op, is there anyway not to get invaded? or not have the evil bell lady show up? Co-op is fun but I'm not crazy about always having to fight someone when it takes away from my playthrough.

Yep. One of the many optional/hidden places that you can easily pass up. Might actually be the most obscure one in a Souls game so far, although I'd have to think about that. Neat stuff. Not many devs would deign to put in content that most people would pass up, and that's sad.

Rom
down, and also
Witches get stitches
. The first fight was intense as fuck, and the second was pretty fun.
I've done each boss in 1 to 3 tries...except ROM. On my fourth and trying to summon help. I hate this boss, these enemies and the entire area lol.
