So, question about the Clinic
there's a girl here, I guess it's Iosefka, talking about how she isnt a beast or dunno. I though she aggroed the player, but she isnt to me. Should I kill her?

What the fuck, how are you supposed to fight the frenzying brain-y monsters in
Nightmare Frontier
? I can barely get close to them before getting my shit blasted and dying. :(

wait what is this
clinic
in the
woods
? O_o

How far are you? If you haven't beaten
Rom
yet don't.

Reposting this hope someone can help :) this thread is crazy!

Where can i farm some of thise twin blood shards? Need to get my saw cleaver beyond +3

I just beat BSB

So I just got
Ludwigs Holy Blade
, upgraded it to +4 (which is the same as my Saw Cleaver), but the SC seems to do more damage, despite the stats on the
Holy Blade
being higher?

If you
are wearing the white church set she doesn't attack apparently. Also if you go after the moon and sky goes crazy she doesn't attack and is one a table

Yes, I killed him.
It's bothering cause she isnt aggroing me and I though she would, so I dunno what to do.

She's on a table , yeah. I dont wear that outfit though

I have a questions about insights. Do I want to have a lot of them? I know the game is harder with the more you get but is it important to have? Or it's just for the multiplayer..

Go through the door straight ahead of you when you spawn at the Cathedral Ward lamp and let Santa kill you. Trust me, it'll make sense when it happens.

Could it be the scaling and your stats favoring the Cleaver's scaling bonuses?

Get captured and glitch those annoying sackbastards by the door. They drop shards

So BSB really doesnt like the flamethrower, she's even more trivial now :P

At what point in the game are you supposed to be able to equip runes?

Should i farm a bit more before gointo into the final fight?

V30
E27
S47
S13

I don't even wanna get stuck without a farming area if i start NG+ :/

Try dying to one of these reapers with a sack on their shoulder that roam around Cathedral Ward.

Pretty interesting who we find to be the hardest or easiest bosses. Everyone has very differing opinions. I don't think I've seen such a gulf in the previous Souls games that much. Pretty cool.

Anyone know about what level I should be to take on
Martyr Logarius?

I'm 57 now, but I can barely scratch him and he hits like a truck. I even tried summoning somebody, but the two of us couldn't get to 50% before he died and I left.

I've read that level 75 is the recommended level. I beat him at level 78. His second phase is really easy to parry. So save your QS bullets. The first phase requires the most patience.
The wide spread multi-projectile attack is probably the one to watch out for the most. Although the big skull attack is really bad too, but that only happens if you stay too close and try to get too many hits in at once. You can get in some free hits when he charges up his slow skull spirit bomb thing and then roll away. Also when he shoots out a small single skull he always follows up by waving his wand and exploding that small skull, so that's a good opportunity to get close for a few hits without risk of retaliation. On the second phase, just stay close. Get too far and he'll do an air lunge attack which can be tricky to dodge due to the camera. Bait him into swinging his sword and shoot him and then Visceral attack him until he's dead.

I gave up on E
brietas
and decided to go after L
ogarius
. Beat him and
joined the Vilebloods
. Then completed
Alfred's
quest line which has a pretty amazing ending. Now my goal is to get enough blood echoes to become
pyramid head.

The guy across from Arianna's house who doesn't trust you. If you talk to him and he asks for a safe haven tell him to go to the clinic, he'll go to the opposite place being Cathedral Ward since he thinks you are lying.

Oh really? Thanks for the info. I thought
he just didn't trust the church because when i suggested that he turned it down and went to the Clinic. I thought it was because I suggested the Clinic after the church, but he just does the opposite of what you say first then?

It's weird because the only boss I found sort of hard was Paarl because I did him like 20/30 levels under when youre supposed to >.>

Do you mean me? I did write it all in spoiler. Sorry if I did spoiled you on something

Nah, I just mean how it's obvious theres SOMETHING going on. Not like it wasnt already obvious from the second you started the game.

On that note, Im curious on the lore.

Is the threaded cane a good weapon later in the game? I picked it and just tried that saw axe thing and the damage difference is pretty significant, but the whip has nice range. How is it after its upgraded a bit?

I'm so completely fucking demoralized right now. I beat the BSB this morning, opened the first chalice, and promptly spent the next 2 hours wiping dozens of times to the undead giant. I just can't fucking do anything. I've read posts about it, It's supposed to be a relatively easy fight and most of my friends didn't have a hard time, and I just don't get it. Sometimes I do the big chunk of damage from breaking the thing on his leg, but then I'm still doing like 100-200 damage a hit and constantly having stamina issues from having to dodge all the god damn time. It's a god damn nightmare and I'm not having any fun at all.
Undead Giant was one of the few times I left, leveled up for a while through playing the story, came back, and wasted him.

Yeah he has some serious trust issues with hunters so he'll go to the opposite of where you tell him. They give you a chance to talk to him again if you didn't go back to the hunter's dream and you can choose where you want him to go again but I don't know if he makes his choice based on the first answer or the last answer you give him, since I told him to go to the clinic twice.

I gotta say this game is too gory for me. Coming off DSI and II, both of which had blood off options not that they were very bloody anyway, it makes me a little bit sick when I play it. Ive herd that the JPN ver is censored in this regard? Ideally I would hope they just patch in blood off (hey it might help with performance) but I would be willing to repurchase if another version is considerably less bloody. Ultimately I'm happy I supported the game but I don't know if I can actual keep playing.

I doubt that other people feel the same as me. But I felt I might just share my thought on it to see if anyone felt so similarly.

I know what you mean, I think it's pretty gross too. The worse bit for me is the way your character gets covered in blood. I don't have a problem with things like MK fatalities but that seems cartoony in comparison to this.

She doesn't
aggro at all after you have killed Rom. You can killer her now for
<extra endgame spoiler>
one of three items that you need to eat to get the hidden ending. If you killed her before Rom when she does aggro then you will miss it.

Probably depends on when we tackle each boss. I found Vicar Amelia pretty easy but a lot of people had a hard time.

I don't get it. I can be summoned within a minute, but when I try to summon at the same spot, nothing. Getting tired of this... ugh. Is there any secret to making summoning more reliable??
