Just a tip for network subscribers. If your sub is up soon, and you want to take advantage of the free month of April for "new" subscribers, just make another account with a different email. They don't check if its the same credit/debit card, only e-mail. I've gotten every free month like that so far, and then pay for the months between the free.

WM 31 was pretty. I was at the edge of my seat during the entire main event. This was definitely one of the stronger WMs ever. I'm impressed that WWE pulled it off despite my "uninformed" opinion.

Meh.. it's worth the $10 a month regardless if I could get it for free. I don't mind paying for it even though I know I could watch "illegal" streams for every PPV.

The max capacity of the stadium is 105k, and the biggest event there is 104,793 people coming to see the final George Strait concert. I think they are going for 100k+, since the Strait concert can have a set up that takes up less space than WM.
It has a capacity of 105,000 for Football. Metlife Field has a 82,000 capacity for Football, and they got 80,500 in for Wrestlemania 29. They will easily be able to have over 100,000 seats for Wrestlemania

Yeah. I was there and enjoyed it a lot. Although honestly re-watching it now I can see why some people aren't coming off as positive.
The entire show was designed to get a lot of pops from the live crowd and it worked.

SummerSlam '92 at Wembley got ~80,000, but they'll probably never do a big PPV outside the Americas due to them airing foreign shows on tape-dealy and they wouldn't want results for those to leak out and potentially kill PPV buys/network subscriptions.

How does that work with timezones. WWE PPVs are usually 1AM to 4AM in the UK. That would cause crazy work issues for most - especially on a Sunday night

I want Roman to succeed, but last night I wanted him to fail.
Luckily, all 3 members came out well in that main event. Roman played it off perfectly, and its a good setup for a heel turn. Lesner wasn't pinned, but he still shows he is unbeatable. Seth? Champ.

Now that PPV is irrelevant outside of Wrestlemania and maybe Summerslam, I could see them running one of the smaller shows (Like Payback or Battleground) in the UK, with a start time of 8pm UK (for a 3:00 EST/12:00 PST) live on the Network, and then replaying it again at the traditional 8/5 time. The problem is that they probably would not be able to fill an outdoor stadium for a show like this, and they would have to run the O2 arena or something.

Lesnar is a once-in-a-generation superfreak. Watching that guy merk the competition is too damn fun. Reigns gets respect for working stiff with Brock but his character is far from right. Dude needs to start with new ring gear. That silly vest with the quasi Superman symbol is just awful.
Rollins is my boy, GAF. First guy I've been this hyped about since HBK and Angle were in their prime. Quality match with Orton. Phenomenal finish. If Lesnar isn't carrying the strap, Rollins is my next-up.
Cena over Rusev felt like a formality. The finish didn't damage Rusev but a break with Lana would be brutal. Rusev with Lana is a poor man's Brock. Rusev without Lana is just another brute. That Rusev entrance was pageantry at its finest though. Let's see where his character goes from here.
Taker over Bray was underwhelming. Taker didn't have any mystique this time. The win resurrected his Mania credibility but put Wyatt back in limbo. Right now Wyatt is a more marketable version of Mankind. He can recover with good booking but will never be what Taker was.
HHH over Sting was a shocker. The run-ins made for a circus show but I'll be damned if I wasn't hyped as hell. The finish was abrupt and unceremonious but at least we got closure. Taker and Sting at next year's Mania would be a solid sent off. But only if somebody can convince Sting to shave his head. That hair was a trainwreck, bruh.

One of the biggest what ifs of this generation will be "what if Brock Lesnar never left WWE". I wonder whether Cena / Lesnar becomes Austin / Rock. Bret / Shawn, etc.
I feel like Rusev is set up to go onto the next rung. Perhaps he's ready to take swings at the IC card (the IC belt is still the 2nd ranking belt right?).
Hopefully they'll fix Wyatt, but this was definitely more about setting 'Taker up for next year, I think. I do hope it isn't to face Sting though. They should leave Sting behind now that it's over.

That matchup might have been appealing if Sting didn't lose last night.

The handshake thing is what killed it last night.
Then not an hour later Triple Paul is out in the ring talking shit about the match and owning Sting and this and that.
The handshake killed any heat or future for the program.
It was so stupid the way it played out.
The Terminator thing was so so so terrible, especially when Rusev came so soon after with the boss of an entrance.
I thought at least the Terminators would move or something, I mean it was so total cheese.
And Triple Paul looked horrible.
Last year he was full on Conan pimp mode.
I don't think Reigns is getting the credit he deserves for the storytelling that went on in that match. It did a good job building his character. Brock did really well also going from confidence to outright frustration and shock that Roman wouldn't quit. To me, it felt like Roman kicking out of two F5s wasn't so much because he was fighting to stay in the match but more to just irritate Brock even further. Which is where Brock did a great job being shocked and confused as to what Roman was trying to accomplish.
Roman got his ass beat for a long while but continued to taunt Brock. Smiling and laughing off his offense. Egging Brock on to continue punishing him and then mushing Brock as if to say, "Is this all you have?"

The madder Brock became the more he looked to punish and Roman just accepted it until he finally saw an opportunity and came at Brock with his biggest hits. I agree, I though Roman was really good last night.
The huge problem with that is that paints Reigns as this super guy which doesn't take any damage to endure so many suplexes and kick out of three F5s as if it was nothing, then Lesnar gets hit once on the ringpost and Reigns does his superman comeback as if he had taken no damage prior to that and started moving and jumping around in perfect health. Yeah way to sell that beat up Roman "2008 Cena" Reigns.
I really hated that booking.
If Daniel Bryan hadn't been hit with multiple pedigrees, wrestled two matches in a night, and hit with an RKO / Batista Bomb combo onto the announce table, and then sprung up off a gurney and took out both Orton and Batista..I feel like there might be more to this complaint.
WWE always book their top faces like Superman; I don't think they know how to do it otherwise.
I've seen pensioners on Bum Fights, I don't need to see it again. Sting could barley do a scorpion death lock and if Taker was anymore sluggish, he would have actually been crawling around in goo.
On one hand it is the super guy, on the other hand it is pretty much every Rocky fight.
He gets his ass beat round after round, wearing the opponent down until he gets his opening and the oppoent slows and then he opens up and lays into him.
But they did paint him that way. It wasn't out of character or anything. And it's not exactly like this is a problem specific to Reigns. Brock dominated Rollins and Cena with a "broken rib" just two months ago. That's basically Cena's entire gimmick.
I mean I get why that's frustrating or at least could be frustrating for realism's sake but it added a little bit to Roman's character here. He saw Brock was hurt and stunned and went at him. The title was on the line, Roman's reputation is on the line. From a storytelling perspective I was more than fine with that playing out in that way.

He also did that front facelock on the ring apron, but yeah, he's still VERY limited right now.
In the context of this specific match; I don't see why people are harping on this. He got his ass beat for 90% of the match. If it were a back and forth match it would be one thing; but that's like complaining about how many moves Cena and Brock did during their SSlam match.

The problem with the Sting/Aitch match is it got the McMahon special. It's clear they had ~3 good ideas of how to book that match and in true Vince fashion, instead of choosing one of these ideas, they just did them all.

My problem with this is that Brock didn't exactly do a lot either. Suplexes, some F5s and some knees. That was the entirety of Brock's offense. Roman used some knees, some Superman punches and a couple of spears. Their offense was roughly identical.
The only reason Brock is forgiven for that is because we know his wrestling history. Give Roman some time. He's not a technical expert but that's not what WWE seems look for in their stars in the first place.
