I thik it is totally cool there are like three forms of each weapon....not all the base weapons have the same
gem stone
line up....only found that out finding the
uncanny
saw cleaver in a chalice dungeon.

I finished the game at level 88.

Used the starter axe the entire game.

I don't if the previous games prepared me too well, but I found this game significantly easier than any of the souls games. I don't know if I was over leveled, but I didn't grind and that's honestly how it felt throughout most of my playthrough.

Beat almost all the bosses on my first or second try. Never more than three attempts and only used help 3-4 times at random.

I was worried about
Logarius
from what people were saying, but beat him in one try as well.

This isn't me trying to say I'm incredible at the game. I know I'm not. It just felt like an easier game than I was anticipating.

I'll say one thing. This game starts off incredible but ends with a whimper.

What a disappointing final and second final boss.

That ending? That's the true ending? Beating that thing that comes down from in front of the moon?

That was horrendously bad.

The fudge man. I can never find these bloody Bell Maidens in the Unseen Village. I feel like they're placed in such a way that you just can't find them?
I found all of them and they are a bit out of the way, one especially which you wouldn't find unless you stopped looking for her and just looked for treasure.

Pro tip: Ignore them. Run through, you can still explore while avoiding the enemies. The only important loot piece is really a
key to the Upper Cathedral Ward
, which if you wanted to know where it is,
there's a little gap in the wall/fence you can drop down just before the lesser amygdala shooting laser beams
.

These game never been about the destination but about the journey.

And what a journey is it in Bloodborn.

I think you can still stagger with skill weapons. It just requires more hits, I think.

Either that or come back to Ebrietas after you have leveled up a bit more.

She's in the 2nd floor (I think) of a build that you need to raid. You basically have to run past all the mobs into the building, up the stairs, and then kill her before you can safely slaughter the mobs.

I've found the first two. But the later one's (where all the knife yielding women and laser Amylgada are, as well as the area with the two giants and the gatling gun guy) I can't seem to find.

Axe is this game's easy mode.

I think you have to get the living string from Mother Brain before you can buy it from the Insight shop, so you'd have to get to that point by just going down the critical path of the main story.

It might be buyable from insight messengers, but you probably need
mother brain dead in Latria v2
first

Yeah, I did flip the switch i just never went and checked. It's not in the insight shop either. Anyone know what the only bosses I need to kill to get to that point?

You have never watched Evangelion or RahXephon, have you?

Because the "childhood" ending is about you becoming a new god and reshaping the world as you see fit.

As much as I love Souls games I have to agree that the endings aren't so good.

I know they're trying to be minimalistic with the plot but I think these games deserve something more fleshed out than a very plain 10 second cutscene.

I made the right choice by sending him to
the clinic
.

I ended up killing him on the spot since I didn't have the clinic option. His transformation scared the living jesus out of me. Scariest transformation in the damn game. A thunder, tornado shooting werewolf. No thank you!

I know that, I was just confirming that skill weapons can stun.

they can...but I had to revert to my axe for several bosses after i started over with a dex build..I only had 16 str withthe axe, but it still stunned way better and certain bosses are easier with it for sure (am
elia
, W
atch
dog, Ke
eper of
O
ld
Lo
rds
....and I expect P
aarl
will be similar...I havent beat him yet on the restart with either weapon although I steamrolled him with the Axe at plus 7 with 30 str.)

in U
pper Cathedral Ward
, easily. 5 mobs within a short distance from the lantern. C is likely to be the worst of the farming locations due to the really low odds for the drops.

The most important part of any such farming is making sure your Discovery is as high as possible. Equipping the two available 'eye' runes is almost compulsory for anything resembling a good drop rate.
I didn't ask for farming locations necessarily, just the earliest place you can find some, even as loot. Basically I want to grab a few chunks to upgrade the
scythe
and try it out.

Used the bell once for Gehrman fight.

Things i didn't like:
-Too easy
smh

What happens to pretty much all the NPCs is super grim. A legitimately
shocked me. I read what he would do but I didn't know this sick fuck would do it like that.
Oh man, I hear you.
I decided to join the Vilebloods because they seemed to be the enemy of the Church, and, y'know, fuck the Church, or any kind of church. xD And I felt sorta bad for Alfred at first 'cause despite being a church guy he seemed nice enough. But I never felt more vindicated after he killed the queen. Crazy ass bloodthirsty fanatic, he is. I murdered him and avenged my queen right then and there and felt no guilt. What a sicko! If he had just killed her normally and calmly said "I rid the world of a dangerous enemy" it'd be one thing, but he literally went Pyramid Head on her. xD Good riddance.

Aha, only two bosses were difficult, eh? You wouldn't have happened to have left your game in rest mode for 12+ hours now, hmmmm? :P
Funnily enough I agree and disagree with him/her. For me, most bosses were very easy. And I didn't get the glitched versions. But, they were different bosses for me that were easy/hard. For me those that took a couple of retries (e.g. died more than once) were:
- Father Gascoigne
- Ebrietas
- Rom (chalice dungeon version, not story one)
Died once to, and then beat immediately after:
- Vicar Amelia (got greedy for a last hit, derp)
- The One Reborn
- Mergo's Wet Nurse (something bizarre happened, see below)
- Gehrman
Killed first try:
- Cleric Beast
- Witch of Hemwick
- Blood-starved Beast
- Darkbeast Paarl
- Rom (story version)
- Shadows of Yharnam
- Amygdala
- Celestial Emissary
- Micolash
- Martyr Logarius

And every Chalice dungeon boss so far except Rom and the Undead Watcher v2 (he had this strong OHKO attack, first version was piss easy though) but I haven't encountered them all yet (so far I saw uh... Undead Watcher, the boar, the watcher trio, Bloodletting Beast, Rom, Beast-possessed Soul, Blood-starved Beast, Pthumerian descendant, Watchdog of Old Lords, Keeper of Old Lords... I think that's it).

I guess it really depends on your build/level, and Souls games experience. =)

Something really weird happened to me with Me
rgo's Wet Nurse
, can anyone confirm?
I left the white-clad queen alone the first time and went to see the boss. She did one move that OHKO'd me pretty much instantly. I don't even remember what it was but I went "okay....". Then I thought, maybe this queen is powering it up? I killed her, then I fought the boss again, and none of the attacks dealt that much damage anymore. She wasn't glitched (she did the shadow teleporting/splitting thing, for example, and had a variety of attacks -- besides I don't use the suspend feature anymore since I learned about the glitch, just to be safe -- but she was really easy after that.

Does this queen buff the boss, or was I just unlucky and I got hit by a really strong attack that I successfully avoided the second try?

Your bloodstain = lost echos is gone if you exit the game.
Wait, what? Really? I never exited the game with a hanging bloodstain, but that's really bizarre.

So i can confirm that your bloodstain is in Lecture Building 1st floor if you quit out
...That's even weirder. Gotta be a glitch. Has this happened to anyone else?

tumblr_nlu0zmRum61r2kn3co3_500.png
Haha. Maybe but it's been my experience as well, at least. The chalice version gave me trouble though. Too cramped to dodge and run around. At some point he teleported in a corner and was surrounded by his mobs, it was really hard to reach him without getting murdered either by the mobs or the projectiles.

And Am is the word for a group of nuclei (the boss's name is the singular form of the word) in the temporal lobes of the brain, whose primary role is the processing of memory, decision making, and emotional reactions. The name originates from a Greek word meaning "tonsil," which is fitting considering the item you need to access the boss's area.
Yup, in French tonsil = "amygdale". It's the same word for both tonsils and the brain part, which can be confusing.

WHAT THE FUCK?

A big glowing shining light levitated me and ripped me apart. What the hell was that?

No story or level spoilers, but maybe an enemy? I'm not sure.
You'll see what's up with that later. :)

Can anyone tell me what number you wanna have for poison effect that lets you poison enemies pretty easily? I have a gem which gives +9.6 rapid poison which I thought sounded awesome but couldn't get it to proc on anything.
Yeah I'd like to know that too.

Lots and lots
From sure loves their spiders. XD

Yeah, the axe and Ludwigs can stun way more easily, from what I've read in this thread.

Whip owns Paarl.

Yeah that's the one I was referring to when I said you'd only find her if you stopped looking for her, and looked for treasure. If you want to know where she is, see my spoiler, you find her just before that loot.

Yeah that was the last thing I was expecting. Where is the clinic? Haven't found one yet.

I kept hearing nightmares about the second Defiled Chalice boss.
Went in just checking out the moveset.
#TeamSecondTry
That was easy :]

LOL. You'd be surprised how many people told him where to go.

I didn't have the clinic as an option and I had too many echoes on me to risk a fight, so I sent him to the chapel thinking what's the worst that could happen. :( Fortunately I went back to the chapel quickly so I stopped him before he did too much damage.

Managed to beat
Gehrman
and finish the game. I loved every minute of it, my favourite souls game by far, even if some things the other games did better.
Now onto ng+ and boring dungeons shizzle, i probably left some boss out, so i'll have to catch up on that too
