is the attire you can buy with insight worth it?

I have found most of the gear is pretty equal against physical attacks. But all the gear sets have different ressistances so depending on the zones like Poison frenzy or arcan resist thats when the gear makes you want to change depending on the dmg the areaa has

how long should I wait after ringing a bell for someone to join. Ive tried ringing it in several chalice dungeons, but nobody ever joins. I have waited up to 10 minutes. i CAN use this in a chalice dungeon correct?

Mid-game story spoilers

I just beat Rom. A note at Byrgenwerth mentioned that the ritual is completed with the appearance of a blood-red moon, and that creates a newborn baby? What is the significance of this baby? Other than they told me to kill it.

Those gigantic man-spider things clinging to the side of buildings are absolutely terrifying. What are they and why did they appear?

Please let me know if I'm NOT supposed to know the answers to these two questions at the point where I am right now. I've been able to leave things ambiguous but those two are really making me curious.

Took down
Amygdala, Ebrietas, Celestial Emissary, Micolash, Mergo's Wet Nurse and Gehrman today to end my first playthrough of Bloodborne. All of them went down pretty easy. Bunch of things I forgot to do right at the end: check up on the people I sent to the Cathedral and see if I could either kill Alfred or give him the Cainhurst Summons.
More stuff to do in my second playthrough I guess.

I keep a frenzy resist set, a poison resist set, and the cainhurst set for physical dmg

Which Chalice dungeon? I'm trying to do the same.

Do you have share set to public? you also may want to share your password and what level you are so others know and can join. There's so many possible games to join and with as iffy as the multiplayer is to connect sometimes it's really not a surprise.

Well the Laser is a OHKO, and the charge most people hate. I never even got hit by the laser until co-oping with someone long after I beat it myself.

Think I beat her second try myself.

This is true, it's pretty great to finish her off with 1000 hit Evelyn bone marrow though.

oh, i usually just try to get randoms. The very first time I did it outside a chalice dungeon, it found someone instantly. I believe that was in Cainhurst. Before I went into the dungeon, i set the privacy thing to open or whatever, then immediately rang my bell when I spawned in. I thought thats all I had to do.

I am in the Ithyll dungeon on the 2nd boss.

bosses don't change because of insight.

That's definitely untrue for
Micolash. With high insight he runs around a lot more, even on subsequent fights. He also starts teleporting through mirrors. He did this repeatedly, sometimes dodging me for 5+ minutes when I had high insight. (Probably fought him 4 or 5 times that way). When I burned off my insight he would immediately run into the rooms where you fight him.

Well shit, I haven't had too much trouble with any bosses until
Ebrietas
. No matter what I do, I can't beat her.

Then I go see videos on youtube fighting her and she seems so much easier. Maybe it's just a placebo, but, is there any indication that
Ebrietas
is harder with higher insight? I'm at like 56. She seems so much more aggressive at low health than in any videos I've seen it's weird....

Eileen is no where to be found. I haven't seen her once tbh. I've beat a bunch of bosses, I think up to
One reborn
but she isn't at the Cathedral Ward. Did that sumbitch savage hunter kill her? I think I dun fucked up.

Would somebody be able to give me a general idea of how far I am through the game?
Just beat Micolash.
I know I could easily look it up, but I'd like to avoid spoilers beyond a general % of the game I've finished. (Sorry if people are sick of this question.)

VERY close to the end. Like 98%

Well, I'm keeping my insight at 99 right now, and this is so true for that boss. I was around 95 when I fought him. I'm holding all that Insight because I don't want to "miss" anything, since you're supposed to "see" things with them. I'm wondering if you have any real benefits keeping them at this point.

For stats: depends on the weapon you want to use.
Check how it is scaling with strength and skill and then level those stats accordingly

Thanks for the response. I don't really know; I'm content with the Blood Cleaver unless there's something crazy good I should be going after instead.

Depends How many optional bosses you have killed. after
Micolash
You have Wet Nurse then Gehrem
Then depending on how many umbilical cords you have will determine if you get bonus boss after Gehrem. You will need to consume 3 befor Gehrem to get the xtra moon presence boss

Just want to say that these are MAJOR spoilers so Laurentius you probably don't want to click on that.

Bwahaha, this last person I helped was just praying to me the entire time after we beat the e boss since the other cooperated was one shot lol.

Have taken a little break on bloodborne atm as i'm playing dying light...can't wait to get back into it currently at (boss spoiler)
blood starved beast

check the building where you fought
vicar amelia
. if she isn't there well..there's ng+.

I think I found my moment of glory. I arrived at Nightmare Frontier and wanted to get back to level up as soon as possible. Unfortunately, someone decided to invade me before I could go back. Searched for the guy and as soon as I saw him, I rushed, shot and slashed him like one of the NPC hunters. Unrelentlessly striking him and not giving him an opening to attack, specially easy since he kept using those slow axes thing. Slice and slice, then shooting when I ran out of stamina. Finally, one last shot and he was dead. All in the matter of 30+ seconds.

Before that, I had also demolished these two hunters, one with a thread cane and another with an axe like the enemy player.

Love this game.

I will be playing this am (at work rt now) if anybody would help my with Father G on NG+ my level is 85. Will be on about 630 am Central time

PSN xxRONN1Nxx add me to coop or at least chat

That's just him bugging out, happened to me. He was normal during one fight, next fight with the same insight he did that stupid shit.

Ive beaten this game 4 times and i still do not understand how people connect that the cutscene after V
icar
A
melia
contains a
password
. Its just
two people talking, no indication of a door, or a key phrase
as far as i can tell.

If i hadn't read about it afterwards here i would have never connected the events.

Sorry thats why I tagged the spoilers

Yes but you aren't saying -what- you spoil, if it's minor, major, etc. For major spoilers you should specify.

I agree with Morrigan, but no worries xxRONN1Nxx, I didn't click on your spoilers. Thanks to both of you!

Hm, weird. Why would him
using the mirrors to teleport be bugging out, though? When I had < 10 insight, he would never teleport once, but immediately go to the rooms to fight him. With 60+ insight he would teleport 5 or 6 times first.
Sounds like it needs more testing, but it definitely feels like insight must have some effect on that fight.

Boy spamming shots for parries really pays off agaisnt humanoid bosses. Spent 2 days trying to beat
Logarius
, and the last time in desperation I just started spamming on his second phase and wrecked him.

At the Defiled Chalice layer 2 boss like...

51uH11B.gif
Lol at that Gif. He's a bastard. Next one isn't easy either. Are you going for the platinum like I am?

Looking for NG+ coop help and chat and possibly higher lvl chalice dungeons.

PSN xxRONN1Nxx

Fell free to add love chating the game and coop is always fun

You're destroying his sword that he spawns during his second form right?

The wheel has the most I've found.

Most important, backstab him when he's charging for phase 2. If you do you can still stagger and shoot him in phase 2. You can parry his sword swings, and even his dive attack. You can shoot his magic sword on the ground to destroy it

His melee attacks are able to be parried.. Stay in his face and pound away while tryng to parry. If he jputs sword into ground creatng that cloud of swords that shoot at you target the sweord in ground and they wont shoot anymore

In the second phase try to stagger his jump-charged attack and then use Visceral, break the sword with your firearm when he puts it on the ground. Use visceral boosting-recharging runes

Thanks guys did it with this help. Appreciate it heaps. Now onto
Nightmare Of Mensis

How lose am i to the end? I think i have done all optional bosses so far.
