Personally I really liked the boss fight >:) try to get the
watchdog to do his head swing attack, then side step in whatever direction he is coming from, hit once then 2 rolls away.

is down. That was legitamately one of the most tense fights in the game so far. Hands are shaking. Had 0 health items left
 
Would it wise to go back to the early section of the game, reason being I know there's a gate closed and I'm thinking of finding a way to open them. My character is level 39. Kirkhammer+5? Damn you OCD.

I ended up
dancing around a pillar to set up Axe spin attacks
. Cheesy and tedious, but worked.

Yeah, finally getting the hang of it after 10-15 more tries.
Constantly circling seems to do a lot of good with the charge attack.

went down yesterday,has been probably the most annoying fight right after
Defiled Amy
. Couldn't get the the backstabs going because of crybaby bs so I
just glitched her through the wall with charged Burial Blade strikes
. Didn't care, it was quite late and the last trophy was waiting...

If you want some tactics that make the fight really easy:
Do not target all fight. Stay close to him. When he goes to do the normal bite move, depending on which side he attacks, run around his safe side and whack his legs twice. Just do this all fight and you will win. As long as you stay close he won't use other attacks. If he charges, just dodge it.

. I think it'll top the list of most difficult bosses in the game from the few attempts I've already undertaken. Hits like a truck, no parry opportunities, no discernible weak point (if it's the head, there isn't much of an opportunity to hit it), fast, and a ton of hp.

edit: welp here it is anyways, hopefully this can give some useful info to whomever needs help with this boss. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AokNXe_KZOY I use the 15% and 10 % health increase Clockwise Metamorphosis allowing me to survive a dash attack, +4 blood vials Communion as well. In addition I wore the Charred Hunter Set with the Bone Ash Mask for increase fire resistances. No idea if that does helps but that's what I did.

The area boss, A

was a total pushover, the normal Hunter Pistol +5 did enough damage to the weak spot alone. Went down in one try ... the first bosses were harder for me.

Do the prices of items from the messenger change every now and then?

Because for some reason, blood vials are like 540 when they used to be 340 or 360.

Yeah, they increase as you level up. I think blood vials have a maximum price of 800-something. So don't worry, price won't keep on increasing.

1.) Up to entering Cathedral Ward
2.) Defeating V

Thanks, but what I mean what how do I be the person who goes into their game to help? I don't have a Small Resonant Bell. And besides, of the 4 times I've rung the Beckoning Bell I haven't been able to co-op yet anyway. I'm doing it before bosses and I'm not overlevelled so I'm pretty sure there must be someone else trying to co-op!

Thx, really hard to let go of the game and move on to Axiom Verge or DS2.
Even started a third char immediately after getting the platinum to finally try out the saw cleaver.
Can't wait for some dlc, some kind of port area with steam ships would be great, leading to a coastal cave featuring some ancient temple.
Unlikely to happen but it'll be great dlc anyway.

Hmm do you put bloodborne in suspense mood? Causes I believe that can cause issues with bosses A.I and online as well. If you are too close to the fog door, you wont be able to summon anyone as well. Its a restriction zone.

You need 10 insight to buy the Small Resonant Bell. Its at the fountain merchant above the other fountain merchant. In order to even access it, you need atleast 10 insight. As soon as you drop below 10, the merchant will disappear until you are 10+ insight again.

I have been stuck here for about 4 days now, I make lots of stupid mistakes but so do the people I see killing it in videos. I have about 30 vitality and 20 stamina, I think I am about level 80.

I have tried to co-op as a last resort but I can't find anyone ever, the beckoning just goes on and on and on and never ends, I have wasted almost all of my insight not being able to summon people. My network connection is OK.

I have managed to get this boss to 10% health but then get unlucky? and get one shotted by the attack from the sky sometimes, other people I see surviving this, I don't know how.
 
Bloodtinge build is freaking awesome once you unlock the Chikage & Evelyn.

Now I'm torn if I should put my next few levels on skill or vitality/endurance, since the one handed chikage scales with skill.

I know I'm gonna need the vitality for the defiled chalice, I'm not sure 40 vitality is enough for that (I don't want to go over lvl 100 for PvP).

I think I currently have 7 Insight. Have wasted three or four on trying to summon someone for co-op, but I've learnt my lesson now.

And I have been suspending the PS4. I'll shut it down and restart the game properly before I play again tonight.
 
So the PvP meta is 100 or 110?

The community needs to decide ASAP, it's been three weeks since the game has released & people haven't decided yet.

my vote is a little higher so that you can still do chalice dungeons half assed...shtuf is getttting tough there right now at 85...(im about to start the defiled as soon as i get the materials.)

It takes a while to learn the attacks...here is my strat using Blade of Mercy. weak point spoilers: the arms are also injurable and he does a heal animation that subdues him for a good time period. In this vid I just used the time to heal and regather my faculties.
