FFX story has nothing to do with FF15. Kingdom Heart games on the other hand are direct sequels.

It makes sense to give Xbox players the chance to experience the old games.

FF Type 0 is on XboxOne and FF15 will be. Your agenda against the Xboxone is really strong.

I still think we might be in for a cancellation of the xbone version of kh3 or at the least, no collection, i mean where is the audience? hell MS messed it up further by not allowing FF14 on either the xbox 360/xbone. and SE didnt release the HD collection of FFX to either. Note this is all speculative and i'd love MS to change policies. get priorities straight.

Yes, but if sales are anything to go by.......it will be exclusive to PS4. Just like how the original HD collections were PS3 only despite the exact same install base for the xbox 360.

I doubt they would ever cancel it. It will probably profit for them, just not nearly as much as it will on PS4.

Just seems comically exploitative to re-release the games again for the same price after so short a time period. Guess it's par for the course now though.
 
While it doesn't make a lot of sense financially to release it on the Xbox One I still think it's smart idea to have a XB1 version alongside the PS4 one so that Xbox only players can catch up to the story, it only makes sense.

well i hate using bad comparisons, but was LR a good profit for the x360? it did sell less than the psv version of FFX right? again just for the sake of an arguement, i mean no ill will or anything towards the xbone.

That would be nice for Xbox One owners. I can see it being a Sony exclusive regarding of KH3 release. Especially with the renaissance of JRPG's on PS4 lately. Even Star Ocean is a sole PS exclusive again.

There is no indication for Xbox One release either ;)


Remember we still have yet to hear a collection. If we do, it will be at E3 along with new KH3 footage......most likely during the Sony conference. It will also probably be exclusive. Just like FFX and FFVII PC version.

Maybe that's why they're taking a their time with it? Because it's already done on PS3. Just a quick retooling and slap it on PS4. My guess is that they're working on porting it to XBone and it'll be revealed at E3. Just a guess though.
 
If they included all of the games and all of the handheld ones and all of the extras they were putting in the .5s it would be bought swiftly

FFXHD took a while too but it had nothing to do with a Xbone port

They probably just want to give breathing room for each version

KH3 is being developed for Xbox 1 though.... how is that not an indication?

Hmm... Square selling you all 7 KH titles in a nice reasonably priced bundle, including the yet-to-be-announced DDD HD (which will need significant adjustments to be ported to a home console)... I don't see it. Especially after the full price FFX/X-2 on PS4.

I would be glad to be wrong about this.

Cause Square Enix is fucking weird. I still thought they should have released the KH collection on 360 as well but they didn't. It would be good for Xbox owners but I'm not expecting it cause Square Enix.
 
I held off on buying KH 2.5 and playing through the 1.5 I already bought, so I hope so.

Hopefully they'll port the 3DS one and throw that in there too, and it'll be an all in one type of deal

I can seriously see Square being Square and not releasing an xbox one version, just like how they never released a KH collection at all on the Xbox 360
 
There seems to be an agenda here, I don't understand why people seem to be getting somewhat offended at the idea of kh on Xbox one. As an Xbox one owner it bothers me so much that people assume myself and other Xbox one owners don't enjoy a wide variety of games and franchises, and therefore "shouldn't" be able to play them on the system of our choice, sometimes you just prefer the exclusives, that doesn't mean you can't or are unable to enjoy other games. I played a lot of kingdom hearts as a kid, with 3 coming to the Xbox one why shouldn't I have the chance to play the rest of the series on my Xbox as well?

I dont want the KH collection to be exclusive to ps4 all i am saying is that its probably going to be if it exists. I could be wrong though
