I thought Ultron put up more of a fight than Loki. Loki got wrecked multiple times.
Scarlet Witch is a reality warper who caused House of M to happen.Scarlet Witch did more damage to the Avengers than Ultron. Ultron seemed weaker than everyone.

Did she really? She didn't really damage them, just force them to confront their fears which sidelined them. She did unleash the Hulk so I give you that.
I honestly think the twins were kinda' weak overall. With Scarlet Witch being a little bit better. I get the feeling that Magneto was meant to be the big bad but Marvel had to scrap it because they couldn't work something out with Fox.
I seriously doubt that that was ever the case.
But didn't. Marvel really doesn't seem to be in a cooperative mindset with Fox when they're tanking all the comic properties of their own that Fox has film rights to.Ya' never know. Maybe Marvel wanted to work out a deal with Fox to use Magneto? It could happen.

I wonder if that will make the movie more popular?Iron Man, Black Panther, Falcon, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch are all confirmed to be in Civil War. Basically nearly everyone is in it except for the people that can't be found like Thor and Hulk. Avengers 2.5 pretty much.
And I would expect a Spider-Man cameo too, but not him to be the focal point. I think that's a good thing since you'll want the whole thing to mainly be about Cap vs Iron Man.
I want to have it in my hands, nowI want to believe!
Ultron even outright said that. Can't quote it, but basicly, Quicksilver and Ultron can harm them, but only Scarlet Witch can defeat them.
I wonder if that will make the movie more popular?
In Germany the Captain Ameica movies were the least successful ones.
(except Hulk)

Depends on your interpretation. But didn't. Marvel really doesn't seem to be in a cooperative mindset with Fox when they're tanking all the comic properties of their own that Fox has film rights to.
It's incredibly petty, but then Fox owns one of the biggest moneymaker properties Marvel has in X-Men and are never going to give it back since they're killing it unlike Sony.
I thought they wouldn't have liked them because the antagonists in both captain america movies were nazis/neo-nazisWhy are Germans so anti-american? Even more so than British/Australians/Canadians. It's something I noticed in the backpacking circuit.
Is there an after credits scene for this movie, or is it only mid-credits?
Rather than Civil War I would like to see Marvel move towards the World War Hulk storyline, it seems like they are really setting up something along those lines
I honestly thought during the end battle that they would launch the city up into space in the end with Hulk still on it and he would have met the Guardians of the Galaxy.

James Spader elevated Ultron from a Brainiac expy to interesting character for me. But I admit I'm very biased.so what im getting from the impressions..and hopefully this is exaggeration, but
Whedon ruined Ultron?
Yeah in retrospect it was a gross over-simplification on my part. Not caring about a american comicbook figure does not equal antiamericanism, obviously. Its fairly obvious why a guy explicitly fighting for America/representing America has less pull outside America.
Lol no.

I had to leave the film early. What were the post credit scenes? Anything worthwhile? I enjoyed the cameos marvel characters had in AoU, especially war machine and agent carter.
Thanos picking up the infinity gauntlet.
Making a really enjoyable sequel. Or were you being facetious.Well, saw it.

Joss, what you doin'
does Tony ever hint about registration near the end of this movie? leading to Civil War?
Yeah it was enjoyable but also a complete waste of time. Like someone said before...releasing the list of the Phase 3 movies hurts this one a ton.Making a really enjoyable sequel. Or were you being facetious.
Iron Man doesn't completely retire, but he takes a back seat and focuses more on the politics/business side of things for a while. Even becomes head of SHIELD at one point. Why did Stark retire? Does this happen in the comics? Does Hulk retire and come back in the comics or is this just a thing for the movies?

It was hilarious how Banner was all "no no no we can't do the whole AI thing again tony no no no it is an evil idea no no no OK I AM ON BOARD".
I don't get why Ultron didn't straight up kill Black Widow when she was in custody. Maybe he was trying to lure the Avengers into a trap, but damn they would have come no matter what. And if they didn't then mission accomplished since he will have successfully summoned meteor.
Also I don't get why Thanos suddenly decided to wield the gauntlet. Does he automatically know when an infinity stone is revealed? Why does he care that Ultron is defeated? He has zero stones, you'd think he would get on that.
The underlying creation of Ultron with Stark just deciding to create this AI with the help of something he just found within 30 seconds was a big problem I had with the movie.
It just felt like a incredibly cheap leap to make.

Hulk actually gets blasted off into space by the Illumanati (Dr. Strange, Black Panther, Professor X, Iron Man, and Namor) after causing a lot of collateral damage. He spends some time away on a gladiator planet, but finds a way to return to Earth and turns New York into his own arena, punishing those that sent him away. Doesn't look like they're going that way in the films mind.
Yeah this was my main worry going into the movie. So what I'm hearing in this topic is that Whedon basically saw the comic where Ultron is hanging out in a bar listening to the blues trying to "FEEL, MAN, FEEL", and decided to make an entire movie based on that Ultron. I see no problem with this. At least he's not another generic scary robot villain.

Is the Natasha/Banner romance a thing in the comics?
And do you mind telling the names/issues of the comics where the Illuminati sends off Hulk (and when he comes back)? Interested in reading that.
