Has any console ever had 286 native titles 18 months after its launch?
How many generation of console with online and indie support from launch ?

Yeah, the aggressive way they've gone after indie games puts Xbox to shame really.
Did the PS3 have a price cut or something? Seems really high.

Indies aren't games?
Are you saying that I should be completely satisfied with its offerings on quality exclusives though?
I used harsh language but didn't say it had no games. Bloodbornes exclusivity sold me on it but besides that theres nothing concrete coming this year. It needs more games like that FAST to keep me interested. God of War remasters don't cut it.
E3 should prove me wrong but can't help but to feel pessimistic.
I admit it's not a valid barometer but I do think exclusives matter.
What I meant by the ball comment is that it really is Sony's job to give us reasons to continue being excited over their system. Just because of couple of deviants being able to enjoy The Order doesn't mean that the state of big budget exclusives is completely subjective.
Even if I had put prettier dressing on that comment it wouldn't have gone over well in a thread where people are celebrating over system sales so it is my L to bear.
I think the lack of middle tier releases offsets that.
Ups, wrong thread.
Why are you bringing this ?
Just to be clear I expressed scepticism towards future success of a video game console 'Playstation 4' in the current landscape, didn't insult you or your mothers.
You did?

Maybe...but technological change in this past two gen make having a lot of game easier than previous one...it's victory without glory imo
Do you want to dance around words with bullshit some more? If it wasn't for their exclusives, they would have sold possibly half the consoles they have sold so far, making the earlier statement wrong. You can try to twist words and completely fail at it, but it doesn't change this fact. You made one mistake here. You used the phrase "I wonder what people are buying the Wii U for". People aren't buying the Wii U for anything because people aren't buying the Wii U at all.
If quality exclusives were the primary driver for selling consoles then the Wii U wouldn't be selling like trash.
Where did you read in my post indie were not games.
It had 3rd party support in the beginning and everything bombed. Then 3rd party developers stopped making games for them. The fact that it has any sales at all is because of Mario Kart and SSB. If it had the same third party support of Sony or Microsoft it would be doing well. As it is, it's performing worse than the Dreamcast did.
This doesn't seem like something that hard to figure out. Third party games sell more than exclusives, and now more than ever have a broader appeal.

Plenty people choose PS or X1 for Uncharted (or NG in general now), Gran Turismo, Halo, Gears and overall exclusive package. I know because that's why it was an easy choice for me to pick one console over the other.
How does that goes against PS4 having a big library though? The main reason why there are so many indie releases on the PS4 is because they put great effort on bringing them on board.

Wii U had 3rd party games in the beginning and almost all of them bombed which is why they have very little 3rd party support. It doesn't seem like you're getting it, and it's becoming difficult to try and explain to you.
If it wasn't for Nintendo's exclusives, they wouldn't of sold half the consoles, they would of sold no consoles. Nintendo is exclusives, that's all they are. And because of that, the Wii U is doing poorly.
Please Understand.
That doesn't change the fact that the previous comment is false. That's because Nintendo doesn't support third-parties, or not well at least.
If they sell 1 PS4 every 2 seconds what actual hope is there for those still waiting on a price drop?

The console is still a joke when it comes to the game library. Two years in.
The way things are going can't see this success lasting long... The ball is in Sony's hands now.
Did i said ps4 had a small library ?
All i said is it's a victory without glory IMO if you compare it to different past context.

Yes it is. The original post I quoted is completely false when relating to Nintendo. When it comes to MS or Sony, it's a mix of the two. Both have an ecosystem that fans buy the console for their 1st party that they prefer as well as the expected 3rd party games. It's not false. Nintendo didn't foster an ecosystem for third parties to grow on the Wii U. Sony did.

Well I for one am very happy with the system and glad to see Sony doing so amazingly at 22.3m sales.
A couple tweaks to the OS (friend notifications am cry) and the console will be near perfect for me.
All that's missing software wise is my next gen Uncharted and God of War.
What is a "good" game that you play? Just curious. The console is still a joke when it comes to the game library. Two years in.

Lot of people to guess bad intention in a simple question...why being so defensive ?

It is. PS4 got no games.Next I'm going to read that the PS4 is selling on hype.
Lol 2 pages in and PS4 sales thread turned into PS4 has no games thread
