Pac really sitting here copping pleas, I'm disappointed.
If boxing wasn't dead before, it is now
Mayweather several times put his chin out there taunting Pac to hit him. Pac got out boxed. Period.
Its been dead for 40 years then. Because this was a lot better than ALI laying on the ropes all night against Foreman.
I think Mayweather will play it very defensively and win it in a rather uneventful 117-111 type of fight.
They'll find a way to turn this turd fest into a "trilogy" and further beat the dead horse.
we demand a rematch, those were two guys who were injured
Geoge Foreman's puffy face disagrees with this analysis.
Dude, they just put Rousey in a ring next to The Rock in front of 80k live and 1.4M world wide. I gotta think they're getting more out of that then the next 40 second snuff film she stars in on PPV.
And I don't agree with Brock. There's some draw in seeing an uber-athletic 300 pound man-beast tear around the ring and utterly demolish Frank Mir. It's not all post show.
Wait, what! uhh what's Floyd injury?
People say this every time. It never ends up being true lol.
Because being technical appears to most as running/hugging, and an exciting fight that does not make.
Wait, what! uhh what's Floyd injury?
When asked for his thoughts on the matchup, Roach interjected swiftly. If (Mayweather) shows up, he said. I am still worried about that. I wont believe it until I see him in front of us in the ring.
USA TODAY Sports repeatedly quizzed Roach as to whether he was joking, or merely trying to fan the flames of controversy in the build-up to the clash. Each time he was adamant that he held genuine concerns that Mayweather could cook up an excuse to miss the fight, such as a training injury or an illness.
Then you are not in the majority that found it boring. Exciting = entertaining. Nothing exciting about that fight. Being fleet footed isn't thrilling for a lot of people.
Yes, like I say, most fight fans don't really understand what they are watching.
Hyperextended his walletWait, what! uhh what's Floyd injury?
Boxing seems to be one of the few sports where being technical isnt praised that much
People can't have different opinions on what they find entertaining? As long as they acknowledge the technical skill and defensive brilliance they can still find it boring as shit. Doesn't mean the people are casual or uninformed it means they prefer more aggressive fighters. So many couch experts all of a sudden acting like their opinion is the only valid one.Yes, like I say, most fight fans don't really understand what they are watching.

Damn shame. If Money wasn't such a bitch and fought Pacman 5 or so years ago when he should have, Pac probably could have pulled the victory. He waited until Pacman was on a downward trend and wasn't at his peak.

Are there fans of any fighter who don't "talk shit?" I want to meet these kind and gentle folks.Just like I said, Pac ain't got shit on Mayweather. Idc if the guy is an asshole, he's the best boxer right now and has been since he entered the pros.
Watching the fight with Pac fans was the best. Talking shit before the fight, shut throughout the fight when they saw pac wasn't landing hits. He was outboxed
48-0
People hate defense in general. They hate technical defensive boxers. They hate Spain's style of soccer. They hate defensive struggles in Football. They hate pitching duels.
That doesn't matter overall. If you can't make an entertaining lowest common denominator sport then you face the risk of being boring.
The same time elapsed for Mayweather. Pac got his shot and he blew it.Damn shame. If Money wasn't such a bitch and fought Pacman 5 or so years ago when he should have, Pac probably could have pulled the victory. He waited until Pacman was on a downward trend and wasn't at his peak.
Yes, that was his master plan.Damn shame. If Money wasn't such a bitch and fought Pacman 5 or so years ago when he should have, Pac probably could have pulled the victory. He waited until Pacman was on a downward trend and wasn't at his peak.
ESPN is killing me with the twitter reactions. Who cares what Aaron Rodgers thought of the fight?
In fairness, that fight was boring as shit until it wasn't.
right tecat > left tecat
You realize Lightweights in MMA are 10lbs heavier than what we saw tonight though right? Lightweight and Middleweight (155 and 185 respectively) are the sweet spot for MMA. Though 145 has it's moments as well.
May weather is 38. Let that sink in.Damn shame. If Money wasn't such a bitch and fought Pacman 5 or so years ago when he should have, Pac probably could have pulled the victory. He waited until Pacman was on a downward trend and wasn't at his peak.
Sounds better. He was making a point saying that he hurts or has minor injuries, but continues and finds a way to win.
Damn haha
