I pledged $40 so I should be eligible, no?
If you are in the US, yes.
Send them a message and they should get back to you (I assume once the mess is sorted, though).

Only the 1000 people who pledged at the special $35 tier are getting PSN Dollars:

If you pledged $40 then you are likely not in this tier.

To be honest I really just wished I had pledged $40 for the Early Access, but I was feeling like kind of a cheapskate at the time so I went with the tier that essentially gave you money back.
I received no email, but haven't had the chance to check the BackerKit site for the codes.
I tweeted at the devs asking why exactly we got these codes and they confirmed these are supposedly in-place of the post-launch DLC the campaign promised. I think not making that clear from the start is kind of shady.
And why the fuck are they 10 $2 codes?
Because Harmonix had a ton of them from their giving away Rock Band DLC days.I received no email, but haven't had the chance to check the BackerKit site for the codes.

Re-read the graphics on the campaign story. They're going to $35+ rewards.
He probably misunderstood the question. These are in $2 increments because they are old Rock Band freebies that Harmonix gave away to sweeten the pot.
Has nothing to do with DLC.
Wait, it's separate from the DLC?
So US backers get both the free DLC and $20 free?
Pfft.
Those two thoughts (the multi-codes and the RB DLC codes) weren't connected. But the campaign explicitly says "Get PSN codes redeemable for Harmonix DLC, including Amplitude DLC post launch."
They aren't a sweetener for anything, they were for that DLC, but the update didn't say that. You should tell people when you're fulfilling something they pledged for. Here's a fuller tweet that shows the whole conversation (they replied to the same tweet twice).
I also got no codes, but, living in Canada, that's just the way it is. I was hoping the codes would be applicable to North America in general, like a lot of these offers are, but that wasn't the case this time.
It's $20 in PSN credit. You are free to save it for eventual DLC if you wish.
I'm really not understanding the issue here, this is exactly what I expected: $20 credit.
Speaking of which, will the Amplitude codes they'll be sending out be US exclusive then?Oh damn is that why we got no codes? Whenever I see US in regards to PSN stuff I always assume it just means NA. Aren't US PSN codes good in Canada as well?

Ahh OK, thanks. The Amplitude code is global (or at least they'll send you a code that works in your region). The PSN credit is US-only.
Because they're old codes Harmonix had laying around to give out Rock Band DLC, so it didn't cost them anything. If they had to pay Sony to give everyone a fresh $20 code they wouldn't have done it at all.I haven't checked my codes yet. But it looks like I might have issues. This is stupid. Why do they have these $2 codes and not just give one single $20 code.
edit: Just tried mine, only two codes worked.

There's no excuse for them giving out duplicates though. That was a major screwup and I'm not sure how they're going to recover from it.

awww shit. I haven't entered mine yet; are we saying that they gave dupes and they may have been used?
My codes are claiming they have already been redeemed. How can I fix that?
Sorry about that! If one of your codes is already used, send us a message on Kickstarter and we'll help you out!

New codes just got sent out. I got 10 new codes and they all worked.
Yeah, this is kind of a mess. 8 of my 10 codes worked yesterday, yet today I got 10 entirely new codes and they all worked. So I got 18 working codes for $39.42 total on PSN. Which is great for me, but not fair for the people who got no or only a couple working codes yesterday.
Sounds like a win/win to me!
No, I don't think that's the case. I think these codes were intended for the DLC and their update didn't say that. I'm worried people will think this is just free credit and feel cheated out of DLC.

I can't believe Sony's online store is such an incredible piece of shit. If you input a valid code but it forwards you to the "Ooooops this link isn't working Error Code 809080" message, you lose the code but it never credits your account with the funds. Try and input your code again and you just get the "This code isn't valid" message.
So just a word of warning to anyone else out there -- as soon as you get that error message, stop trying to redeem codes. Come back in 10 minutes, since the error just seems to go away over time.
I lost at least only one $2 code today and one $2 code yesterday so I'm not really going to fight it, but holy fuck, what if that had been a $20 reload? I can't believe this is acceptable service.
smh
Yeah I lost one code because of that. 9/10 is fine i guess. =/
Huh, weird. I got that error about 4 times and all my codes still went through in the end.
Still nothing!

Yeah, I got the error message about three times, but I still got all the funds for each code I was submitting when the error came up. Everyone gets a separate e-mail for each successfully redeemed code, right? It should be easy for people to make sure from their e-mail records whether the funds were still credited to the account when the error came up.
No codes at all? Did you check https://amplitude.backerkit.com/ and there's nothing listed? Have you messaged them on Kickstarter?
Yeah, I did all that.
