How? It's locked for me in the theme menu and in my library, it has a checked box with the costumes and game ready to be pre-loaded..

I do like the theme that comes with it. I put in a pre-order for it yesterday. I'd like to somehow have a theme for Trish and Lady.

Presumably they'll perform identically. MT Framework's amazing scaleability and the fact that this is a 7 year old game means it'll probably just come down to personal controller preference.
Then again, we can't be certain. All streams that they've shown thus far appear to be the PS4 version.

Unless you get a CronusMax then you can use any controller on any system. I play Nero on a fight stick. I played (360)DMC4 with my Xbox One controller as he DPad works perfectly for style switching. Controller of choice for DMC4.

Agreed, but like I said I wish they didn't just give us a half assed theme that belongs during the early Xbox 360 days. They really should've given us a premium PS4 theme without logos and whatnot.
Yeah, I've got a TitanOne. I primarily use my Wii U Pro on my PS4 now because it's a wonderful controller for action titles and also the battery life is obviously godlike. I haven't had to charge the thing in weeks. If they could only completely get rid of the authentication problem entirely it'd be perfect. As it stands it's not that bad that it automatically reconnects every 10 minutes as it's literally a second of interruption but it still can be occasionally annoying.

Other than the skin showing part, Dante himself is like the ultimate man model.
Granted, having a shirtless Dante skin would equate things a bit better I'd suppose, but the sex appeal of Dante, Vergil and Nero is clearly something they focus and put a lot of effort on. DMC4 is basically a bunch of good looking people killing demons.
Nero was basically designed to be a teen heartthrob to attract female players. They were definitely pushing everyone to be attractive and cater to different tastes.

Also, maybe 'skin showing' isn't perceived as a notable increase in sex appeal when it comes to the perspective of Japanese women. Which to be, I presume the main focal point in the conceptual design of Nero.

Well, that and because they couldn't keep Dante a teenager/early 20-something. :lol
According to one Kobayashi post-DMC4/SB3 interview, Japanese ladies seem to be attracted to "good looking guys with a nice personality", so that's why the main posterboys in both series are designed with that kind of aesthetic in mind. That doesn't mean they don't take kindly to when the guys show a bit of skin either, as DMC3 Dante and BASARA's Sanada Yukimura would showcase.

They definetly sexed them up, there is no other way around it, Lady and Trish are the DMC "sexy women" as said by Itsuno, even Gloria gives Nevan a run for her money.

But Lady got way more revealing man... come on now son. Her chest in 3 isn't nearly as revealing as it is in 4.
i guess it just fits the Devil May Cry series, Trish already had a revealing outfit,was a Demon and now that she isn't under the control of Mundus she acts differently so her personality makes sense, Lady is more of a problem because her design was too exaggerated and she only appeared in like two scenes. but its mostly her design.
The guys are also good looking but not used as much for fanservice, instead of sexing them up i would rather change the girls design just a little bit, give more scenes to Lady, for example, to make them cooler instead of just sexy.
And of course, more alternate outfits should be a thing. ;-)
I'd probably point out that fanservice for a girl =/= fanservice for a guy. that Lucifer cutscene in DMC4 is fanservice-y as fuck, IMHO

They were obviously always both meant to be sexy (even if Lady's DMC4 outfit was a step too far IMO). But that's OK with me as long as the fanservice tries to cater to everyone.
Between DMC, RE and Basara Capcom really is an Attractive Protagonists company
yeah, i don't really get it either. yeah her boobs are bigger (which makes sense given that she's older at this point and probably... um.. fully developed) and more exposed (to a silly degree) but honestly the tighter outfit makes more sense from a demon hunting perspective. silly schoolgirl skirt would snag all the time.

This is directly because of the anime. Dante tells her to loosen up basically, and she takes his advice.
I think the addition of generous boob physics is what made DMC4's ladies look way more sexualized. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure there were no boob physics in DMC 1-3.
Plus unlike DMC1 and 3 where Trish and Lady have an actual part in the story, in DMC4 they were literally nothing but eye candy (yeah Trish brought Sparda to the Order and "spied" on them but there was so little mention of it it's kinda easy to forget). So it does look like a degradation in a sense.
LOL no it doesn't... that outfit makes no sense for "demon hunting". That's some female medieval armor BS logic there. It would make more sense if she just wore a skin tight full body suit.
I am not saying the school girl outfit makes much more sense but that was in her school girl years and it's clear she just found whatever she had and stuck it on her to go on a mission. DMC4 is like 20 years later, there is no reason for her to be dressing like that.
She's dressed like that because that's how the character designer made to be... not because it makes sense.
If you're hunting monsters and doing agile shit like she does what are you going to want to be in? clothing that's going to snag on everything or something that's sleek/form fitting? the boob window is dumb, no argument there. but the rest of the outfit makes sense.
I'm pretty sure you could downsample with DMC4 OG, so that doesn't make any sense.
You certainly don't wear a jacket like that going demon hunter that's for sure.

Everyone's costume in DMC is supposed to look flashy/sexy first and practical second. i'm just saying that DMC4 lady's outfit in terms of a practicality sense makes a hell of a lot more sense compared to her standard DMC3 look.

Plus, with the JP physical release and LE both being prizes for TrueStyle tournaments, I can't imagine they'd make them prizes if language barriers would be an issue for possible winners.

I've also preordered it on PSN... I want DMC5 and I'll pay a lot of money to get it.
Lady's DMC4 jacket is super tight and kept together with a single button.
Doing agile shit would result in the button popping off and, well, her boobs bouncing right out. OR the back ripping open.
It's a cool looking jacket on its own (could use something underneath it still), but not suitable for any sort of combat activity ever.
Because she didn't zip it up all the way... the DMC4 jacket doesn't even have an option of zipping up. That's because you are supposed to wear a god damn shirt underneath that jacket just like Dante's design in DMC3. It is literally the female version of the Dante outfit in DMC3 and Dante got a lot of shit for it in DMC3.
You already admitted to the exposure of cleavage so I wasn't even talking about the cleavage, I was talking about the practicality of the outfits (which you brought up). This outfit is far more practical than both of the outfits, which you asked for an example as to how it would be more practical.

Which also makes sense in that she is supposed to be the more business savvy of the trio. Wouldn't mind this being her "theme" moving forward.
