There hasn't been any update since January, where the script was on its 2nd draft.

The last time I heard Neil is still writing the script. He said that he does it after coming home from ND. I don't think they've even made it to the point of casting yet aside from Maisie Williams almost certainly being cast as Ellie.
They haven't started filming yet and don't have final casting yet.

You are so right. Until today I was sure it was pretty much impossible to do an Uncharted Collection for the reasons you've exposed (they must be so optimized for the Cell (especially 2 and 3), it must be a pain in the ass to port them to PS4).
They needed a full year to port Last of Us from PS3 to PS4 (and it was ND doing it, they knew every line of code they wrote).

The press kit from E3 2014 is, as I have mentioned before, no longer accessible (the individual files might be, but not the page).

A full-year with :
- a small team of programmers at ND
- them starting from scratch on the porting process
Whoever's handling this port will most definitely have all the documentation of what ND's done for TLoU port, as well as more headcount in general (since outsourcing)

I would fucking love this. I thing price might turn some off depending on where they set it. I would pay $60-$80 US for the 3 games. I just hope they are done right

I didn't know he eventually got himself banned. He really did need to tone down the teasing and cryptic messages a few notches, so I'm not surprised.

There's no way it'll be more than $60, and frankly, that's a price that won't bother most people if it's 3 games, since people seem to be 'barely okay' with $40 for 1

It's funny to see tons of people's dreams crushed when the real show doesn't match up with their expectations. Come on, guys, how many times are you gonna fall for the same thing. I'm rarely disappointed because I hope for a lot but expect little. For example for this E3 (Just Sony's 1st party games and marketed games):

Should be like this. No MP from UC2 & 3 that would create a ton of problems porting it over. 1-3 campaigns, UC4 beta in January, $60, October release.

The question is: when did they started working on that collection ? If they started the same day that they started Last of Us R, then it's 2 and a half year of development. Is it enough ?

Whoever is doing the port, it's not going to take nearly that long. The game isn't being built from scratch. Yes the CELL makes it tricky to move over to PS4 but 2 years tricky? Nahhh

Yeah, I'm thinking they'd be better not bothering with the MP, just include a beta for Uncharted 4 and concentrate on making the campaigns the best they can be. I don't think too many people would be overly concerned if the ditched the previous multiplayers.

Depends how much effort they're putting into it. If they're updating UC1 to look as good as UC3 it will take a while for sure. If they'e just porting the games for 1080p 60fps, I wouldn't think it would take very long at all.

I'm really considering if I should get the Uncharted Remastered collection just for Uncharted 4 beta. I played the trilogy to death and have other games to play.... What a dilemma.

I never am good at Sony/Xbox predictions, but I bet we'll see a new Street Fighter V newcomer, along with bigger trailers for the games at last E3 that still haven't come out yet.
Nintendo will have more Amiibos (for Star Fox?), and in-depth look at Star Fox (finally), reveals of Roy and Ryu in Smash, a new handheld reveal, more info about their already revealed games (Fire Emblem If), a new Animal Crossing, Mario Kart 8 DLC, one weird new feature for Amiibos that won't be that exciting, and a tease for Retro's new game.

If you want to predict those you are free to do it. Im not gonna try to tone you down and say you gotta stop hoping for projects you love.
This thread has over 100 pages and tons of people already said the exact same thing you did about lowering the expectations. We all know what to really expect beside a few surprises. And everyone who predicts crazy things knows is a total shot in the dark. But hey, it's NeoGaf

Things I want most:
Bloodborne DLC announcement, but will probably happen later.
Scalebound to be the most badass game of the show.
Devil's Third to be the second most badass.

I really hope Tearaway and Until Dawn come out earlier than that. Between MGSV, Persona 5 and No Man's Sky, I'll already have more than enough to play during the holidays. That's why I find all the "holiday exclusives" talk pretty stupid, because 10 games I want coming out at the same time means I won't play like 7 of them until next year.

Sounds like a good list for the PS4 for this holiday season. One or two more unannounced games could definitely help though. Oh, God Of War 3 Remastered is coming in August as well.
I think it's possible. I wouldn't be shocked if it was announced this E3.
