I'm assuming that's ultra, but i dunno about the changed geometry in the backround lol. Like they change the world density for the ultra version or something? That's strange.
Even so, PS4 is no slouch visually, let's hope the FPS can stand
I gotta say, its kinda ironic to see UE3 putting out one of the best next gen looking efforts.
From Japanese(Guilty Gear) to Western(Batman) it can truly put in the work.
Neat.
Looks to me like this difference is mostly down to different lighting conditions and contrast. Not sure about the building in the background though.

More than density, they seem like different buildings altogether. Weird indeed. Or perhaps the PC trailer was cut from a much older build.
Surprised how Unreal Engine 3-y the game still looks.
Just something about the lighting...
Still looks pretty damn good. The faces are some of the best I've seen for an open world game.
Well how old do you reckon the PS4 footage is? Because it was probably recorded same time as Part 1 'Officer Down' which they released March I think?
Damn your saturation fix for the PS4 looks much better than the original, hope Rocksteady will do it as well for the final game.
I'd actually guess that the video itself is just washed out and it wasn't full quality. I'm sure the final game wouldn't be that blasted out on gamma.Damn your saturation fix for the PS4 looks much better than the original, hope Rocksteady will do it as well for the final game.

They have matched the look of the May 2014 trailer nicely.
Top: May 2014 PC 'Evening the Odds' -> Bottom: March 2015 'Officer Down' PS4

There undoubtably is. Don't know whether there are any more Batman-like though
whys Batmans voice sound so strange?
EDIT: also why did Batman merc a civilian in a small car with his Batmobile at 5:59s lol
There's alot of debris and smoke in the air from the Gotham Is Mine trailer that's completely missing in the new PS4 video. It really adds to the atmosphere.
This is in addition to integrating the latest and greatest versions of our PhysX Destruction, PhysX Clothing and PhysX Turbulence technologies, which work in tandem to create immersive effects that react realistically to external forces. In previous Batman: Arkham games, these technologies created immersive fog and ice effects, realistic destructible scenery, and game-enhancing cloth effects that added to the atmosphere and spectacle. Expect to see similar effects in Arkham Knight
All those lighting effects when you fight look stupid. Is Batman a wizard or something?
I feel like you should have listed some then?
Here is the new Arkham Insider video. I am still not a normal member and cannot start a new thread.

It looks good but the PS4 version doesn't look "OMG I can't believe that's on the PS4" good, it looks like a natural progression from having a much higher baseline target.
First thing I thought too, lol.
