They need to be profile rank 4 to enter comp at all now, and even then are limited to 2 games a day, so it's going to be 5 days at least before they can ruin everyones games.
Was expecting the same thing but I guess I haven't been following how popular it is. Now I agree that 33% is pretty damn nice.
Hmm, I was wondering the same thing. I thought I'd wait until it would feature in a Daily or Flash, but seeing this now I highly doubt if it's going to get any lower than 6,99. I think I'm going to bite the bullet and buy it for that price...
Wasn't there some hacking controversy surrounding the game about hackers or something? Can't remember what it was exactly.

Steam sales are great, but discounting your successful 3-months-old game to 50% is just bad business.
You get people willing to pay the full price at launch and during the first few months, then you get people willing to buy it at 25-33% off 3-6 month later, then you get those who won't pay more than 50% 6-12 months later and so on and so forth.

Castle Crashers is still one of the worst ports I have ever played in my life.
Just be weary of that. Gamepad required, as well. No keyboard prompts.
No, IIRC. the definitive edition has some newer effects and a bit of cosmetic surgery.

bl2 is improved and if you enjoy the game the GOTY stuff is worth it over the normal version, but whether it is improved enough that you will enjoy it when you got bored with bl1 is a hard call.

It's a great game, with great mods, that will give you hours and hours of great gameplay. It's completely worth the price right now, and the only reason for not buying it, if you like the genre, is if you're not going to play it before the winter sale.

Ubisoft gonna Ubisoft. I was also looking for Rocksmith because I finally bought the PS4 version and wanted mods.
Edit: any recommendations for The Evil Within dlc? I loved the base game. Is the DLC chosen from its own menu?

It is a bargain at $20. Treat it like it is a full price $60 game that is getting a 66% discount just months after release.

There are outliers in both directions -- some games get discounted quickly, some (not naming names
) never get discounted at all. It also depends to some extent on how successful the game was, how well it continues to sell at full price, and on the initial price point.properpropaganda

Hmm... Well I've got the definitive edition on PS4. Guess I can pass on this deal. Would it be worth it for all other games? I think it is like $16 for all tomb raider games.

- Lego Harry Potter 1 & 2 (Girlfriend wants to get into games + likes Harry Potter = profit)
- Ground Zeroes (I'm getting Phantom Pain on PC, might as well get used to the controls now)
- The Old Blood (The damn FOV is what made the console versions so hard to play, this is gonna sublime now)

Do people still play Battlefield Bad Company 2 online? I'm sure there's a community, loved that game on 360.
That's most definitely a good thing.
No way would I ever buy a game that's keyboard and mouse only/dependent considering my setup is a living room/couch setup.

I loved TEW, be sure to look into Flawless Widescreen and all of the fixes for the game. Also, the mouse and keyboard controls for MGSGZ are really damn good.

What? They're not saying they wish it didn't offer controller support.
They're saying it doesn't include keyboard prompts for people that lack controllers, which does legitimately suck.
Most certainly not an issue for me though.

I'm of the same opinion. The Wolf Among Us is great, got me to pick up the first trade of the source material.
I found Wolf to be better written, but it seemed even less of a game than TWD1. I think the latter did a better job at tricking the player into thinking his decisions mattered, but it could be because the concept was new at the time.

Chivalry time! One of my favorite things in gaming in recent years is the temporary spike in Chiv players during Steam sales, fun as hell to jump in and play for a couple weeks.

Comp is the core of the game. Without playing competitive you will never be ranked. The other modes are for different play or warmup. Comp is CS:GO.
