Gawd Damn. That's was fucking great. Easily a 4.5 out of 5. Like, we can actually put up these banners made by tensuke.

I can't see Shenmue 3 going to any other console except PS4 (Sony doesn't give a shit about the PC).

Didn't the last Shenmue cost something like $50 mil to make, and that was 10+ years ago.

After the $2 mil is funded sony has to be helping somewhat with the rest.

TLG was boring, FF7 Remake was CG, and Shenmue 3 is a Kickstarter.

Horizon was the only good showing imo. This E3 was good at building hype, but beyond that it was alright.

I mean I guess it was a shitty conference if all you care about is championing console exclusives to your online acquaintances.

But in reality, and as a gamer, this is everything I could ever ask for and more. Everything, and I mean everything, was on point. Maybe not "Dreams", and the fact that I wished the big persona announcement was on the conference itself, but absolutely legendary.

I know Sony showed jack shit in terms of exclusive 2015 games, but who gives a shit when you're throwing A-bombs left and right. Legendary conference. Absolute stuff of legends.

Seriously, this is the most legendary E3 conference I've ever seen.

We were all here when Sony announcement The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and Shenmue 3 all in one conference. Just one, ONE, of these 3 was more than enough to hype and make people go nuts, but all 3....good god.

The stars aligned, and this happened!

I CAN'T BREATH!

They didn't show my 3 most anticipated games. Witness, Persona 5, MGSV. And it still might have been the best conference I've ever seen at E3.

I still don't understand what people are so hyped about. If this conference took place in 2016, then sure, but it feels like they just took their 2016 E3 material and crammed it into this.

8.5/10

Wow, a lot of wow moments. Shenmue 3 is such an obvious thing and I applaud sony for having the sense and initiative to get it on there platform. However along with FF7 Remake I could see it coming to X1 later down the road.

The Last guardian is here and it looks the same as it did like 8 years ago when you take the nostalgia and hyperbole out the equation Im sure its going to be a unique and memorable experience, however it cant live up to the hype.

when the shock of shenmue 3 and TLG had settled down and I looked at them from a reality perspective, Uncharted 4 was the best thing of the show the gameplay was a amazing something truly of next gen caliber.

Horizon look great to, but the jury is still out and what the final quality will be.

There was a lot of third party stuff which was rather boring Im fed up of call of duty and destiny im not a big fan of.

Dreams looked great, and no mans sky has me more excited because there is some depth to it, its not just exploring.

A shame there was no pricing or release date for project Morpheus but if im going to get into VR Morpheus will be it I think.

I was going to score it higher because of shenmue 3 and TLG however these games are some ways off I want to know what I will be playing in the next 6-12months

ff7remake is probably fall 2016
shenmue 3 could be what? 2017?
horizon will be fall 2016
and last guardian could be fall 2016 to? maybe even pushed back further.

MS had a lovely conference too, relax some of you.

But anyone who is saying Sony's conference wasn't "all your dreams come true level" is kind of kidding themselves a little bit. Maybe not for you personally, but you have to recognize on the mass level, it was amazing.

If you hated what you saw today, what else do you want from gaming right now?

Minority opinion......it was okay. Surprised I wasn't as wowed as with Microsoft's. I'm not invested in Call of Duty, Destiny, Batman, or Star Wars and those went on forever for things not exclusive. World of Final Fantasy was cute but I can't say I was caught in the hype with Final Fantasy VII or Hitman hype. I'm kind of sick of teasers showing nothing and wanted some gameplay and especially with Hitman, not just another movie trailer with questionable human models failing to replicate an actual movie trailer. I don't know how to feel for Shenmue. It felt pandering for applauses even though Sony brought them out on stage only to kick them out by saying, "Thanks for the publicity! Good luck with your Kickstarter! Wish we could finance but uh... good luck!" I dunno.

Really enjoyed No Man's Sky, Dreams, Uncharted 4, The Last Guardian, and especially the Horizon presentations though. I'm still wowed by Horizon.

Somebody please please hold me right now. I just want someone to hug me and yell in absolute joy that tonight happened. This is gaming. This is gaming.

Sony more than delivered!! And this shit's why their console's selling like fucking hotcakes! Right in the fucking feels! Best E3 ever! This can't fucking be topped!

Fitting tag line this year "greatness awaits", try back in 2016 guys :/

I loved what they showed but owning a decent PC I was waiting for exclusive and all I got was destiny....

Got up this morning wondering if there was a reason to hold on to my xbox one, going to sleep knowing won't be getting anything for PS4 this holiday season...

I'm in Europe and it is like 5 in the morning. I don't have to work today.

But think about all those Europeans sleeping now and what they will wake up to! They will get a heart attack in the morning.

Their whole E3 conference is REALLY sneaky once you get past the OMFG kneejerk reaction.

TLG! But...it looks exactly the same as it did 6 years, and its still not very exciting. "2016" huh...

FF7! But...who knows when that will ever come out, see Versus and KH3.

SHENMUE 3! But...a goddamn Kickstarter campaign? Pretttttty tacky

Meanwhile, the Vita is deader than dead, and Sony's 2015 line-up still lookin' real flabby and sick. They hope you don't notice that as they talk about the future.

Easy when you don't care for half of what they showed.

Horizon cool new IP and No Man's Sky is still amazing but other than that?

Even if you don't care much for the games shown, you have to know just how insane and big these reveals are. Even when there were rumblings about TLG, a FF7 remake and Shenmue 3, people still were scoffing in disbelief at the possibility. The sheer magnitude of FF7, TLG and Shenmue 3 tops everything MS has revealed so far. You have to be living under a rock to not realize just how well...historic this moment kinda is.

Heck, and I really enjoyed MS's conference. But Sony's was just something else.

They are salty. They shoulda done that gears game first, holy fuck that was awful. Horrible way to end the show

I actually really liked MS presser. Expected a bigger 'one more thing' but I don't fault them for my own crazy hype expectations. But people saying that MS and Sony's conferences are on equal footing?? I just @_@

Weird conference for me. It was nice to see FF7R, TLG and Shenmue 3 all show up; but it is hard to be super excited with how far out they seem. TLG at least had some kind of janky looking footage for it, but FF7R and Shenmue had almost nothing.

Horizon was best thing at the show imo, looked great.

But I agree with your overall point. Still super disappointed in a "non" date for No Man's Sky.

Oh yeah, I forgot about this too. No release date for No Man's Sky was a big wtf moment for me. I thought this'd be the perfect time, but I guess that's more "fault" of bello games than Sony.

Here's hoping we get a release date for Bloodborne's next expansion, No Man's Sky and Uncharted 4 on gamescom.

Sony delivered big-time on hype, but aside from that...I didn't think any of the conferences were all that great. Just decent-to-good. It takes more than just megaton announcements for a press conference to be good.

With the exception of Fallout 4, none of the games revealed or shown at any of the conferences convinced me that I had to buy them. There were about 5-6 other games revealed that were intriguing (such as Horizon), but I need to see/know more before I'm sold.

As far as new standout games (or ones that have really impressed me and changed my opinion) that I've seen I've had a couple

- Horizon
- For Honor
- Super Mario Maker
- SW Battlefront
- No Mans Sky

I'm glad you guys finally got to see the flying dog ferret game, the remake and the Kickstarter But man, besides Hitman and Uncharted, there's not a lot to take away from it for me. Great show though, Just nothing new to look forward to from it personally.

When is Paris Games Show?

Edit: Oh shit, No Mans Sky actually looks more interesting and impressive the more I see it. The was great demo but short lived I almost forgot it.

I feel sorry for the people who cant get excited after this conference. they showed off

5 1st party titles
A spin off final fantasy playstation exclusive.
FF7Remake
And Shenmue in 1 conference.

Honestly il pray for you guys.
