Also, we need the gif gods to come and bless this thread.
Lol
This post doesnt even deserve a proper response
Did they confirm that there were multiple paths to take during the jeep segment? Cause that would be really good for replayability. Dynamic set pieces where you choose paths would be a game changer. The beauty of this set piece is that it seems to be open ended compared to previous entries. Take for example the jeep set piece: player controlled with multiple paths to take. In contrast, ROTR is incredibly linear in execution and looks like it's trying to outdo Uncharted 2.
Yea I don't do that unless someone else brings it up first. And I don't want a different game than Uncharted, I just would've liked to see more of what they were advertising at psx.Apologies for the snarky response. Historically Ive noticed that you usually compare games to Ubisoft titles, but I shouldn't have assumed anything and for that I am sorry.
I still maintain that it's an unfair criticism to make as you seem to want a different game than Uncharted. The series was built on these types of semi-linear set pieces, and to expect them to go in a completely different route is not reasonable.
Guys, this is not the first Uncharted game with destructible crates.
He's been almost killed thanks to Drake's plans countless times so the stress is probably getting to him.
. Horizon and U4 look brilliantI have been trying to figure of the two consoles will sit proudly next to my WiiU, and the PS4 has officially won it's spot as my other console to sit underneath my HDTV. And it will be Sony's first.
I can't tell if you're agreeing with me or calling me pathetic.

It wasn't just crates though, it was everything. The enemies forced you out of cover far more than in any previous game, and it looked much more dynamic. Even the driving sections looked like they had good amounts of options to pick from.
Far less linear than other games.

They did in the after show interview with Geoff. I saw it in the theater so I don't have a link but they talked about how you could take different paths down and different things would happen.
Man, I need to see Elena and Chloe! C'mon ND!
I hope folks read this. That part alone was the real wtf moment for me. Damn shit was impressive. It has the most advanced physics system I ever saw. Even grain bags that protect ou from nuclear bombs in any other game without them getting any scratch, now In Uncharted 4 they get pierced by balls and grains leak through the holes which empties the bags thus making you less protected. This little detail has never been done before. I can enumerate all the fancy physics details but it would be longer than the video itself. Really amazing job.
By the way, what you guys get? I couldn't go.
okay I'll just add to the echo chamber.
GAME LOOKS ORSUM GUYS.
It's fine to dislike things you silly goose and disliking things with hyperbole can be fun. Games don't have to be serious business.
The game that finally broke the GAF. Jesus Christ. I can't help but think how many lightyears more advanced this looked in terms of complexity and execution compared to Gears 4 and new TR footages. Naughty Dog just operates on another level when it comes to this kind of games.
Great demo, really appreciated how open the level looked. Naughty Dog crafts set pieces better than anyone in the industry. Much more exciting than the Tomb Raider footage.

I can't believe how bad the gunplay looked. How can it be worse than the first 3 games? How?
Naughty Dog combat is so godawful.
Nice environments though.
Also - this pissed on R@D's chips visually IMO (but so did Horizon IMO).
So much happening in the environments, so much life and movement in stark contrast to the beautiful museum R@D built.
Hes calling you pathetic because you compared destructable crates to what they displayed today.
Beta access to Killstrain, $5 PSN, 7 day free trial for PS+, a poster, and a sticker. Not really a fan of Killstrain, but whatever, swag is swag.
This! Gif GAF get on thiswhere is the gif with the sandbag leaking
lol, guess everyone forgot about it. On positive note, this was locked 30FPS.How are people not bringing up the framerate? Geez.
No I didn't. Several people specifically brought up destructible cover and my post was a general response to them. Why that simple remark would invoke such a harsh response is beyond me, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised.
No T-shirts? That's cool. Bummer about no Battlefront beta.
