He's not wrong. first Killzone 2 trailer was total bullshot and looked nothing like the finished game.
Awful lot of empty space on that weapon (and ammo) selection radial menu. Please be for melee weapons!
Someone has to tell guerilla to drop the subtitle. It is completely unneeded.
They cant't. There is another game called Horizon.
Yeah, there's definitely regular real life animals in the world too. There's also horses in the concept art.

I'm watching the Gamespot stage demo of this and Herman just said that you take the parts of the machines to craft not only weapons but ARMOR too. That bit I didn't know. Hyped!

Guerrilla never convinced me but this is their first game that really caught my eye.
Here's hoping that this game will deliver and that they won't fuck it up with their usual shitfaced writing antics, bad level design and linear gameplay. The 'open' forest level in Shadow Fall was the worst FPS level ever.
What they hired for this project sounds good though.
Not all robot creatures are 'dinosaurs'. There's robo deers, that 'watcher robo' (that got stabbed in the beginning) and a giant robo eagle in the demo too.
That would fall in line with the comparisons to Monster Hunter. Can't wait to see the skins.

Knowing Sony's involvement with the last of us, R&C and others, does anyone think that there's a movie being made based off Horizon?
And then there's the Thundermaw. Guerrilla Games breaks down some numbers for this gigantic, angry animal: It's 80 feet long by 30 feet tall (roughly the size of an adult blue whale); it has 93 destructive elements along its body, all of which Aloy can shoot to reveal weak points; and it has 12 attacks, including a tail swipe and long-range projectiles.

Sounds like they are going back to the Killzone 2 days. I remember them boasting about how much points of detection they removed from the Helghast bodies in Killzone 3 so they could "remove input lag". I couldn't believe my ears.

The early one? That was much better than 90% of the missions in the game.
Never played Fallout new Vegas. How good was the writing in the game?

Can someone tell me, am I crazy for thinking this evokes Monster Hunter in a lot of ways? Down to the animations of the monster, the dodging, the khezu-like stun animation, the rathalos-like heavy swinging of its body...
(I hope we get to choose various weapon types, I kind of want this to be a hunting game.)
