Oh look, a rage-baiter has entered this thread! I will go on a limb and say that you have not even tried it or this is a you only problem.Man this remaster is a fucking joke, I am in the trial, after Aloys victory and I cant shoot arrows anymore. I have tried verifying the games files, and even loading a previous game. Nothing, Aloy doesnt shoot arrows anymore and I can only use melee. And not only this, lip sync is really bad, the physics are super weird, the hair in characters is bugged out as well. This remaster is a real dissapointment in so many ways. Not surprised that on steam reviews are mixed
What a nightmare modern gaming is

Can’t shoot arrows? Try the amazing melee
On a serious note, have you searched to see if this is a common problem with any fix?
LMAO what kind of revisionist history bullshit is this? Killzone wasn't ahead of its time at all. It was an unremarkable grimdark FPS series during a time where there were a million grimdark FPS series. It did nothing special besides graphics. The Halo games released around that time were all much, much better.Problem was Killzone was ahead of its time. Had they made that in the ps4 era it would be more popular than horizon imho. I wish they gave it a reboot and focused on single player campaign even
Same with resistance fall of man…
Shit, even Halo 4, which most would rank near the bottom of the series, is a better game than any of the Killzone titles.
Opinions are like asses.. We all have them and they all stink. You do you man.. I feel Killzone was a great game, just suffered from lower specs from the era. A kill zone reboot and remastered would be an excellent game. Feel free to argue with the clouds,LMAO what kind of revisionist history bullshit is this? Killzone wasn't ahead of its time at all. The more you learn about this dude over the two games, the more he climbs on the list of world's worst people in video games.Ted Faro & Friends.
They are nothing alike. What's the difference between this game and Monster Hunter? The appeal, I mean. Why does this game inspire so much passive aggression on forums but Monster Hunter gets so much love? Is it because of Fat Aloy?
I haven't played either, but I've heard that in both games you unlock new gear by killing monsters/ robots and using their body parts to craft stuff. They are nothing alike.
Even the hunting is done in a complete different way.
Yes the story is really good. Usually I skip stuff like this during games because they try to be funny or the stuff is not relevant at all but there are some where you get sucked in and actually read or listen to all the audio messages and notes.Forgot how good some of the emails and audio logs were when you reach Makers End. How the world was slowly coming apart thanks to Ted Faro & Friends.
Yeah but the game structure, combat etc. Are totally different.I haven't played either, but I've heard that in both games you unlock new gear by killing monsters/ robots and using their body parts to craft stuff.
In the first game, that's true only in a very limited fashion. You basically have three tiers of each weapon type (and the mid-tier is quite redundant, just go for the highest tier when you're able), and while you do need particular loot from particular machines, the variety is very limited. It's mostly just RNG. Just kill X amount of $MACHINE to achieve that.I haven't played either, but I've heard that in both games you unlock new gear by killing monsters/ robots and using their body parts to craft stuff.
I just bought the remastered upgrade, since I owned the game already. I'll play it one of these days, thanks for the info!In the first game, that's true only in a very limited fashion. Forbidden West is more like Monster Hunter (in this regard only, it's still not like Monster Hunter) in that there's a larger variety of both weaponry and variations within a type, and to buy/upgrade them you need particular pieces from a machine. And you must remove them while the machine is still "alive" (weapons with high tear stat are your friend), no ability to loot them after the machine is downed. (and if this seems like too much work, you can enable "easy loot" from accessibility settings)
Just one more hint. I think Guerrilla realized that the economy kinda sucks at some point during the development of HZD (since it is all RNG, which may not seem fair), but it was too late to start correcting it. Instead (I'm pretty sure this is the reason), once you get to that-large-town-in-the-desert, there's a vendor where you can exchange shards (the currency) to machine parts, if you don't want to grind it out. Provided you have the cash, of course.I just bought the remastered upgrade, since I owned the game already. I'll play it one of these days, thanks for the info!
You can buy rare parts directly from the vendor? There's nothing you can get exclusively by grinding?Just one more hint. I'm not sure if you can buy all of the rare parts/components... I think there are some that you can't. But most of them can be bought if you're so inclined. You can buy rare parts directly from the vendor? There's nothing you can get exclusively by grinding?

On pc the game has a bug where randomly the trigger doesn't work anymore and you can't shoot arrows, very annoying.
Also, when you close the game on steam, it doesn't really close the game and you have to manually close the game from steam, also annoying.
Btw, i'm not sure how anyone can think that combat in zero dawn is better than fw, zero dawn is superior in so many things, but fucking combat is not one of them unless you just like more basic combat with less variety.
Already tried but after a while it return again, and it randomly solve itself when i do enough reboot, change of controllers etc but it feels completely random.you can fix this bug by disabling steam input in the games properties

Lucky for me in my case it's pretty rare but i heard people being completely fucked so they better speed up the process.Sad to hear. For me it has been working fine after doing this. That being said, I already contacted Nixxes and they told me they are working to fix it, so the patch is imminent. Hang in there buddy

You're confusing it with Elden Ring, lol.Could’ve been bigger. They always release the games near something more popular.
Zero Dawn - Breath of the Wild
Forbidden West - Tears of the Kingdom
Remastered - MHW beta and Veilguard
And why not line it up with PS5 Pro launch and give it a boost with a nice Pro mode?
I fucking hate steam unlock times for europe, why is this fucking thing still locked for another 5 hours when the entire globe is already playing it??
Same here man. Its infuriating
Ah you’re right, and even worse I’d say, Elden Ring is my all time #1, not the easiest competition. You're confusing it with Elden Ring, lol.
I personally find this very forced with HZD Remastered, it's not like it was huge release directly competing against the other titles (especially one which is just a beta), and the majority of people bought it at $10, so they probably decided to try it out later.
Though not as bad as people using Dragon Quest 3 against Lego Horizon. I mean, come on now, Horizon is absolutely going to destroy DQ worldwide, lol.
The work put into this is dramatically more than what Capcom did for the RE games.I wish these updates were free like Capcom did with RE2, 3, and 7 instead of having to make people pay ($10) for this shit.
