Maybe it's a theoretical flash-foward from Batman's perspective showing the danger of Superman becoming a tyrannical leader?

Gal Gadot is incredibly boring to me, I thought she was awful in every F&F movie.

Hope she actually has a personality in this, it's hard to tell from the little we got of her in the trailer but she still looks to have that same blank expression in every scene.
