Bats looks kinda ugly. Actually the whole film looks kinda ugly , which is my biggest surprise.

Did they write a script based on fan-criticisms of Mos ?

Supes is like 3rd wheel on the trailer.

Disappointed.

It's balanced in the trailer, but the POV seems to be Superman's, mostly. They don't like you, they're holding you responsible, Lex thinks you're shit, Bruce is mad at you, Mom thinks you don't owe the world anything.

Yeah, Bruce has reasons, and those reasons are being delved into, but almost everything we see in this trailer revolves around Clark, and is done as a means to prod/provoke/summon him. It appears he's the primary focus - the prism by which all the other story elements come into play. It reads to me like he's the central character.

I disagree, a lot of this is from Batman's perspective too. Stuff like the funerals, his family being killed, and the Joker's taunting are his stuff. The trailer definitely revolves around Batman to a large degree.

I don't know if I buy the motivation for Batman. I get that he would be pissed but to go straight to destroy seems thin. Especially with the implication that Luther is manipulating him.

Why do none of the movies ever portray Batman as a coldly manipulative Detective?

Hopefully the movie fills in missing pieces.

The first part of the footage suggests it, but apparently the thing that the cast and crew went more in-depth on in their panel was that Batman's rage is driven by the idea of all of the children who lost their parents from the Metropolis battle.

Aside from Batman actually looking and moving like a goddamn action hero, I think I actually liked Lex the best.

Overall though, the trailer is kind of a jumbled mess of a hundred different things. Definitely didn't give me the feels like Man of Steel's trailers did.

YES! Sounds like we're going to have another (relatively) campy Luthor. It's not what I'd want, but I think I'll enjoy it all the same.

If we'd had another poignant, dramatic, moving trailer like we did for Man of Steel, we might get disappointed by the final product again. Plus, it's called Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, the subject matter doesn't really lend itself to a trailer like that anymore.

I get that Superman broke Batman's building and that's why Batman wants to fight, but why is Batman in the desert in post-apocalyptic gear wearing a trench coat over his Batsuit fighting para-military forces with Superman's symbol as their insignia? It doesn't make any sense.

It's almost like the movie isn't out and you have no context!!

Amazing! So so happy! Woke my kid up and made her watch it despite her having nearly zero interest in Batman (forced to sit through Man of Steel several times lol)

It's not supposed to make sense until you actually watch the movie. It's like some people in this thread have never seen a trailer before.

I do hope they don't go too heavy-handed with the whole "You're responsible for everything, Supermang!" Like, that should be a subplot and not the driving thrust of it all, I feel.

Missed opportunity for the little girls parents laying dead, creating symmetry to Bruce Wayne and added symbolic weight.

People would literally be saying she's the next robin/batgirl in every single thread for years.

How do you guys know that's Robin's suit?

Because of how it looks. It's very reminiscent to Tim Drake's Robin costume in the Arkham series & comics. You can also see a huge R on the top left chest area.

I'm not denying Batman doesn't have a focus here. But it doesn't seem to be a Batman movie as much as it is Batman getting caught up in a Superman movie. That's how the ad came off, to me. Superman's the focus, Batman is the catalyst.

How do you guys know that's Robin's suit?

The R logo is on it.

I love Pokken!
That split second of Batman taking on some armed guys is already better than all action scenes from Nolan's Batman.

i am 100 percent on board with this batman for sure now. all of bruce's scenes were the best in the trailer. that metropolis shot of the lasers was scary, bruce pulling the tire getting into rocky mode like a g, and dat grappling gun shot.

i think lex's wig is unnecessary, and kind of stupid looking but eisenberg will do a pretty good job it seems.

wonder woman looked kind of cheesy though, i dunno they gave her some lame shots in this one.

pretty sweet, i'm not really a fan of the snyder 300/watchmen filter he's got on some of these scenes (the waynes murder and that weird ass superman army vs. mad max batman) but i'm glad the present scenes are shot normally.

oh and dat robin suit.
