Looks pretty great.

Affleck's Wayne and Batman looked on point.

The Grappling hook scene? Pure Batman Goodnes

Still hate that their take on superman and joker, but It might grow on me as these universe expands

People would literally be saying she's the next robin/batgirl in every single thread for years.

Snyder was always going to nail that one bit Nolan never achieved.

As someone who liked, but is not like "omfg, nolan da best batman", im glad they are takiing this route finally.
Hope there are some lighthearted moments there and is not dark and shit all the time, but Snyder is on the right track.
Superheroes being superheroes.

YES! Sounds like we're going to have another (relatively) campy Luthor. It's not what I'd want, but I think I'll enjoy it all the same.

If we'd had another poignant, dramatic, moving trailer like we did for Man of Steel, we might get disappointed by the final product again. Plus, it's called Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, the subject matter doesn't really lend itself to a trailer like that anymore.

Yes, probably better that our expectations don't get alll that high. It has a ridiculous title, it looks ridiculous, it will probably be a ridiculous movie.

Loved it. I'm gonna watch that trailer so many times. I wonder if the Batmobile scene is before or after the armored Batman fight. And why is Superman kneeling before Lex?

So Lex poisons the well politically against Superman, is working on ways to deal with him, manufactures Kryptonite. Kryptonite gives him cancer, causing him to lose his hair, making him a more bitter character moving forward?

Wonder Woman looks gorgeous.

As does the Batcave. It must have won interior design awards! Even has mini waterfalls.

Totally sold on Bruce Wayne, not sold on Batman. Especially CG Batman. We'll see.

That desert part fighting against those soldiers? Batman looks ridiculous in pants. What was that?

Either way, I'm quite looking forward to this.

I'm not denying Batman doesn't have a focus here. But it doesn't seem to be a Batman movie as much as it is Batman getting caught up in a Superman movie. That's how the ad came off, to me. Superman's the focus, Batman is the catalyst.

You don't have CG bats in a Superman movie.

This very much seems like a Batman and Superman movie with Wonder Woman in it. As much as there are Superman scenes which Batman has no bearing on there seems to be Batman scenes which Superman has no bearing on.

Seems very much like a shared movie, imo.

...what rock have you been under for the past year and a half?
I thought she was just going to be in the Justice League movie. I didn't know they were going to introduce her in this film.

The R logo is on it.

R on the chest.

I imagine the big R on the left breast would be a giveaway.

you're joking right <__< because there is a R right on it

Oh snap, I didn't even notice that.

Gal looks amazing Wonder Woman in costume.

I have to admit, she looks good.

It sort of feels like their cramming people's complaints about the destruction in the first film into this ones narrative. The action looks good though, except for Gals face in that one shot.

Not sure about their Batman plan since his longevity is cut from already being active 20 years

That was pretty bad. I can't stand synder's style.

The idea of supes as a fucked up christ-like figure is cool, but it will probably won't amount to much.

Oh shit, regarding Robin:

Is Jena Malone playing the grown up little girl Batfleck is holding in the beginning, who under his care maybe eventually becomes Robin?!

How long is the film supposed to be? It seems way overstuffed from that trailer and I have no faith in Snyder handling narrative well. Visually it looks good though, sure some effects shots may be a bit rough but that is to be expected.

So mythic and epic, but with one misstep:

They should have introduced Diana halfway through with an equally epic intro. "It's not just about these two" kind of scene. Instead of three or four cameo shots.

also, who was the hot skinny Asian businesswoman halfway through?

plus i gotta say that shot of superman flying into the hearing at the beginning looks so cool. it's such a convincing translation of the character to reality. i got a lot of those vibes in this trailer actually, between that scene and the one of bruce witnessing that heat vision onslaught

Freaking awesome trailer. Man it was so epic. However....not too pleased with the shit Ma Kent said to Clark at the end of her monologue. "You don't owe them anything." Almost in the same assholish tone that Pa Kent said in MOS, which jarring to me. Really do not like this brooding Superman they are trying to push. I understand its a new take but man, we already have a brooding Batman. Maybe Clark lightens up in this film.

She isn't saying "he son, who cares about saving lives, go kill everything" and more "don't care what these people want or say about you, you only have to be accountable to yourself and your beliefs". At least that's how I took it.

Henry Cavill, the man with one facial expression

its between worried and concerned, always worried and concerned

This trailer actually made it feel like Batman might be the focus of the film in that Superman's issues are the catalyst to getting Batman out of retirement, who has been plagued with his own history. I feel it's an interesting parallel to 9/11 and people who joined the military or re-enlisted due to the event.
