Shockingly relevant

is this a joke comic? Pretty funny, where is it from?

I think my favorite scene in the trailer is all the people running away from the huge dust cloud and Bruce Wayne running straight at it.

First, no one ever said humans are completely rational beings especially after being threatened with extinction. Second, even if they were to accept that Zod wasn't his fault that still leaves the problem of Superman himself existing and doing his own thing accountable to no one.

there is nothing wrong with being a good Samaritan (one who can lift a mountain)
the government trying to control someone personally wouldn't sit well with me because it leads to a slippery slope of trying to keep tabs on anyone they deem a danger. wait, that already happens.

Sigh, Affleck. At least I really like Cavill in the Superman role. Wonder Woman looked OK, I guess. And some great Snyder visuals, but there's still a giant question mark over this whole endeavor for me.

It's still so weird that the first film end on this giant orgy of destruction which the new film now has to use as a starting point, complete with 9/11-esque motifs. Shouldn't these movies be thrilling and fun and inspiring? The Nolan/Goyer-inspired stuff is so freaking downbeat.

Looks fantastic. I didn't have any hope for this, but it certainly a great trailer -- those Batman shots looks incredible, already looks like the best on-screen Batman from an action/cinematography/choreography standpoint

Christ this looks bad. Has done since trailer one.

The premise of anyone versus Superman is stupid. The CG looks awful. This is a follow-on from Man of Steel which is up there with the worst superhero films produced in the last decade (Snyder is just not very good at this). It's far too soon to see someone other than Bale adopt the role of Batman, especially somebody as recognisable as Affleck.

It's just all terrible. Suicide Squad looks better, of the two.

One thing about Snyder is that he likes taking comic books as storyboards and ensure the awesome sequences make it into his movies.

This is something I felt was lacking in the last Avengers movie. It was good but I was looking forward to seeing a bunch of iconic scenes from the comic books.

The problem with this whole "versus" storyline is that it's a little like a prequel in terms of story stakes; we know there's a Justice League movie coming. We know they'll quit fighting. We also can guess that Batman probably won't destroy Superman...

It's the "Monsters University" of superhero films.

People will argue Civil War but that has SOME potential for lasting ramification.

Still don't know how anyone can say this, SS trailer was bad if you ask me.

Also Bale was bad as Batman so it's not too soon, more not soon enough.
Perhaps he was bad for the ultra-hardcore comic book fan who needs an absolute literal translation, but by definition of a majority decision the consensus is that Bale was a very good Batman.

I suppose the quality of Suicide Squad helped it; the while thing looks really pantomime, as does this, which doesn't translate well at all in high resolution.

Wonder woman looks like she's from Xena warrior princess. Just look horrible and out of place IMO. Is she this puny in the comics? I'd have expected more mass but she looks like a catwalk model in a costume.

Apart from that, I liked what I saw.

Yeah, if I lived in a world where an all powerful alien could destroy us all I would hope the government was keeping tabs on them and could possibly be able to reign them in. It's kind of funny from a fictitious stand point that people just trust Superman when we read the comics or watch the cartoons despite the fact that he in many ways encapsulates the fear that many people have regarding power. We're talking again about an all powerful alien who has set himself up as the Supreme arbiter of right and wrong and who is accountable to no one. Rather, he requires everyone to accept that he's a good guy and would never do a bad thing all the while keeping a secret identity. He isn't the 1% he is just the 1.

And yet, people seem more afraid of and distrustful of their own government which is made up of people they elect and are actually held accountable to the people.

Wonder Woman seems to be true to the comics, she even has the lasso.

Cavill is the best possible superman and MOS was the best possible superman movie. That said, I don't like superman in general. :)

I think the whole thing looks entertaining. I wonder how much character development we'll get of the various supporting cast.

I think that's what they're going for with this Lex, like he's a evil Silicon valley yuppie type.

He pretty much fits Luthor to a T aside from being handsome and built. The last one can be rectified through character development and the first trait I don't care about. The short clips of him in the trailer show me that he's smarmy, manipulative and intelligent.

He's very much Byrne's Post-Crisis Lex, just not a fatty.

Well, that was a pretty damn good trailer. Of course Man of Steel had some fantastic trailers too but the script itself fell so much short of the mark, hopefully this isn't just as misleading. The one thing I really don't like at all from this trailer is Lex though, Eisenberg just still doesn't seem like a good cast for the role. And hair on Lex? That's lame.

Definitely seems like it's a sequel to Man of Steel.

Yeah, I was worried about not getting a proper sequel to MoS but this seems to actually be one, just with Batman and Wonder Woman intertwined. I hope it's as good as it looks to be.

The way he acts in the trailer makes me want to punch him in the face. I can't say the same for Spacey or Hackman. I consider this a positive quality, I should hate the movie's villain. Lex shouldn't be sympathetic. The guy is the ultimate jackass, everything superman isn't. I can't say I've felt this way since Joffrey, and god damn, that's a good villain.

Honestly, that Lex hair looks like a wig to me.
As in,I feel it is supposed to be a wig in the movie universe.

kind of like hugh jackman in pan? that would make sense, i hope thats true. it looks so bad

anyways suicide squad trailer > batman v superman > deadpool. wish we got a leak of the full xmen teaser :(

best shot of this is definitely bruce wayne witnessing that heat vision from the ground. scary shit.
