Isn't Comic Con going to stream their shows live next year too? Justice League on stage would be a huge reveal and having it streamed live would maximize impact.

Just a little disappointed there wasn't anymore casting announcements or directorial announcements. Those don't really have to be saved for cons.

Does anyone realize how smart this trailer was? In this scene it's like Batman is getting his introduction to this universe when Superman broke the doors to welcome him and the Dark Knight Rises. I bet that one scene they're going to talk it out and team up.
Am I the only one bothered by the fact that it looks like Batman doesn't fit in the Batmobile unless the seats rise when the doors open.

I'm not so sure. Snyder is a capable director when the script is good, and Chris Terrio is almost guaranteed to deliver an amazing script.Singer is probably the more capable director, but Snyder has a unique vision that will probably make BvS really entertaining to watch (and with an amazing script then it has the potential to be something very special).
LOL! I didn't want to be the one to say anything, but yeah. It looks like he was just squatting on something and not in a cockpit or anything.

Sorry, I meant to add in that post, "for me." I don't really buy the whole President gets attacked by Magneto who flies away at the end and still is a major threat but the Sentinel program gets shut down anyways reasoning they tried to play off at the end of the movie. Especially when the reasoning the mutants were so dangerous was the assassination of one scientist IIRC, but a metal controlling mutant that actively tries to kill the President of the U.S is no threat. jenniferlawerenceok.gif

Yeah. He'll probably show up toward the end. I don't think he'll be playing a big part in this movie unfortunately.

Yeah. It would've look awkward as hell for him to try to stand up in a cockpit. Plus, he'd be about a foot or more shorter than Supes (while also looking up at him). I guess they probably should've had a camera angle from behind him as he started to stand up and then quick cut to the long shot on his way up. Oh well.
Anyone that is not the big 3 will be glorified cameos AT BEST

When the camera is focused on Superman, Bats is way lower in the driver's seat. I think there's just a few frames missing before the shot of him rising.

In Aquaman's case I'm gonna say it has something to do with all the epic fighting has disturbed the seabed or something.

I'm of the opinion that Snyder has never made a great movie. That's not to say he only makes crap. I think he's made decent films but I've yet to walk away wowed. He's got his fans though. For me, I think the best I can hope for out of BvS is a movie I enjoy but not love.
Yeah. The World Engine probably pissed him off or woke him up or something.

Trailer shots are usually no where near final. The CG will look a lot better.

The only Snyder films I personally enjoyed were Watchmen and Man of Steel. I never thought his other films were that great. Man of Steel's problems weren't really in the directing, so much as it was the script. Watchmen was also a property that really shouldn't be a film, but Snyder probably made the best film possible out of Watchmen.
I think all the cards are in place for BvS to be the first truly remarkable Snyder film. We'll see though.

Don't know why people are pretending WB/DC didn't have grounded/gritty films before the launch of the MCU.

I'm not much of a Snyder fan so I'm hoping Terrio's script elevates the film for me.

I'm aware of that but aside from that movie his filmography is pretty sparse, which is why I've never understood the Terrio hype since he was announced to be writing this.

Exactly. If WB/DC are influenced by anything creatively, it's their Batman successes. The one thing I credit Marvel for is lighting a fire under them to get this universe started.
