so what happens if, say, one of those 10.000 pledges is from some troll and KS goes down during the final few hours ?
would that make them unable to withdraw their pledge ?
It'll also prevent last minute backers to back during those few final hours.
Better for those trolls to have their own personal internet access down than KS. =P

I really hope we eventually get them. Shenmue 2 is one of the few reasons I have to keep my aging 360 around.

I think it would depend on how it comes about, personally.
If SEGA themselves are going to do it, then yeah, maybe TGS.
But if it's going the Sony TPP route (we've known that Adam/Gio's team has been trying to get Shenmue for a long,long time now, but hasn't succeeded aside from Shenmue 3), then I would see Sony owning that announcement on their own platform, be it PSX or E3 2016.
