Gawker v. Hogan?

You can't have two heels go up against each other.

Time to call in Stone Cold to be the judge then stun everyone at the end.

Stone cold enters Gawker office

Talks smack

Pulls stunner on editor

Everyone cheers

Drink beer. Exit.

Repeat for the rest of his life.

-----------------------------

Stone cold enters Hogan's house

Talks smack

Pulls stunner on Hogan, and for some reason, Brooke as well.

Everyone cheers

Drink beer. Exit.

Repeat for the rest of his life.

So, still burying careers then?

You'd expect Tough Enough to have wrestlers on them, but aside from one girl there's not a single wrestler there, so no careers to bury, none of those people will ever work a match for WWE, I betcha.

I think his words were mainly stated because of the Brooke sleeping with situation. Definitely not saying it's okay. But I know of some guys like this. They are cool with, friends with, hangout with and whatever with black people or whatever minority. But! As soon as it comes down to a minority sleeping with their daughter! Holy shit they loose it!

Also lets be honest here. It's going to be quite impossible to make it seem like Hogan never existed in the WWE. The man pretty much was WWE. People who know nothing of WWE can tell you Hogan was a WWE wrestler.

Dude.

He straights up admits that he's racist. Like, says the word "I'm a racist."

I just hope our boy Stone Cold Steve Austin is cool to non whites.

Stone Cold has a history of violence against women.

Wrestlers aren't angels. Wrestling is a carny business with a long and storied history of drugs, abuse, violence, racial exploitation, and also Triple H crapping up every RAW with a 20-minute speech about how great Triple H is.

Sting? Anyone? I can't ever remember hearing a bad story about him, and he was an icon.

As for WWE, yes, they made the right move in firing Hogan. But the fact that guys like Michael Hayes still have a job is a complete freaking joke.

Also, people need to stop with the "why aren't they doing this with Warrior stuff" ridiculousness. Warrior made those comments when he wasn't under contract. He then made up with the company years later. Not anywhere near the same situation.

* Gawker has sex tape of Hogan

"How could they release something so private, Gawker is horrible! I hope Hogan sues their asses into oblivion."

* Said sex tape has private dialog everyone wants to hear

"Let's go Gawker, we want to hear the tape!!!"

He's moved up to destroying then before they even begin? From what I know, that seems like the logical progression of his career. Fitting final contribution to WWE. I vaguely remember the first Tough Enough winner eliminating Undertaker and then getting borderline murdered, so maybe it would be a kindness?

What has Hayes done?

Pretty huge. All those legendary match ups will be buried and forgotten.

Maybe for a while, but this isn't going to be a Benoit level incident. His image is hurt for sure, but people eventually forget and/or forgive. Michael Richards, Mel Gibson, etc. still have careers.

Gawker wins, honestly. Unless Hoggin's lawsuit bankrupts them, somehow.

Please don't read my post and assume I meant every wrestler who ever lived is a dirtbag.

I'm sure we can go down the list, maybe from Bruno and Bob Backlund to the guy who played Kamala the Ugandan Headhunter, and find lots of fine people who also happened to be wrestlers.

What has Hayes done?

He's...terrible...
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2013/...-s-Racist-Sexist-Employee-Who-They-Never-Fire

In 2008:
Hayes (still the 3rd in command at WWE) used the "N" word against one of the WWE's African-American wrestlers, Mark Henry. Hayes was suspended only, with pay, but brought back after a few months. Stephanie McMahon literally gave a paid vacation to a Southerner who verbally assaulted an African-American with the "N" word.

In 2009:
Hayes called a Indian-American writer, David Kapoor, the sand "N" word, according to the controversial book expose of the WWE by Matthew Randazzo V, Ring of Hell. Hayes was not punished, but Kapoor was threatened to be fired by Stephanie McMahon for smiling on camera around the same time.
