I feel like this sums up the entire topic of the WWE being racist.

Very little. Worst case is they just don't directly reference a lot of his accomplishments and maybe remove Hogan bookmarks on WWE Network - a la what they did with Benoit. But honestly, Hogan is too important to their history to be fully ignored.
I wouldn't be surprised if he gets cut from WWE 2k16 though

Nothing for old video content, we know this because benoit is in uncensorted, though they never mention his name in the descriptions of the ppv's he's in or have quickskip points (which is actually good because those stupid things spoil the results of the match).
This may prove harder for hogan though since he was the bedrock of the company from the mid eighties to the early nineties and headlined 98% of the ppv's then. They may just leave it at the website removal and call it a day.
He will probably be out of games from now on as that would be seen as the wwe "actively" endorsing him.

Just in case you guys didnt know what type of person hogan was before, when his son crippled his friend for life in a car accident, hogan was recorded calling nick who at this point was in prison and they discussed getting nick a reality show for when he gets out, and then hulk went on to say, "god laid some heavy shit on that kid, i don't know what type of person he was" basically rationalizing his stupid son's tremendous fuckup by implying his friend deserved it for being sinful.

I had heard rumors of a Hulk Hogan vs. John Cena match at next year's Wrestlemania. I can't say I was looking forward to that as a main event.

Most life long wrestling fans like myself were well aware that Hogan was a scumbag for most of his career, and has shown to be racist before this. This news does not surprise me.
I don't give WWE any credit for firing him. Their hand was forced here. They still harbor incredibly racist people in their company, Michael P.S. Hayes in particular. It's a systemic issue with WWE starting from the top. This is a company that only in the past few months is acknowledging the fact that maybe they should respect their female wrestlers. WWE is NOT the progressive company they would like you to believe they are. All the Make-A-Wish John Cena visits in the world can't cover up their deep seeded issues.
I look forward to a future where this is not a problem in wrestling. It's not there yet though.

Sigh... every few months, another figure I grew up watching turns out to be someone racist in real life and then it dawns on me that this is the first glimpse into who they actually are as everything up to this point were only things that they wanted me to see. I feel sick... I look back at all the clichés and hints coming from them and it all seems to line up with the sort of things I'd expect from that sort of person. I can dismiss this as confirmation bias but I wont.

That match was alright but it wasn't in the same league when compared to the New Day's run of matches against Cesaro & Kidd, those guys are phenomenal skill-wise compared to the Primetime Players. I'd love to see heel Big-E get a World Champ push, dudes awesome.
