Can't wait to add it to my backlog.

I wouldn't go that far, but things have gotten better over the past few years or so. Still a lot of RPGs MIA from the PSone/PS2-era and outside of wishful/unrealistic thinking in the form of Kickstarters, I doubt we'll ever see the volume of games we had during those days.

Yup, and we ain't out of the woods yet, but at least we know of a way out of the woods now. That's not too bad of a place to be.

Lots of people were sceptical with Taro doing the art but to me it looks very nice so far, can't really judge with the tiny picture but definitely looking forward to seeing more about this game.

Assuming this even makes it to NA, I dunno if this is something I'll pick up... but that's such a good name, dang.

I'm super in, I just want to see some gameplay.

I wonder if tri-Ace is doing Vanillaware stuff or if it'll be closer to VP.

Also, this should be enough proof that tri-Ace is still totally alive in case anyone was still wondering.

Exist Archive? Come on guys, really?

Other than that, I am pretty excited! I really hope they don't keep that limited time mechanic from the first Valkyrie Profile because those kinds of mechanics instantly turn me off.

I can't wait to see more screenshots!

I'm not a fan of the artwork in LovePlus, but the characters here look decent. Can't wait to see bigger screenshots.

I can't decide if the main male character is holding a neon green sword or if that is just a random beam of light coming from god knows where.

Spike Chunsoft, tri-Ace and Famitsu probably weren't expecting DQXI tonight either.
Even if that's the reason, I still think it's a funny situation.
On that subject, didn't SE do something similar with RoF, releasing a DQ game the same day or something? Poor Tri-Ace :(

They released FFXIII on the very same day RoF was released, and the week before God of War 3 came out. Different types of games but RoF probably suffered a lot.

SpikeChunsoft really REALLY needs a western branch. There are tons of good games piling up to be localized and NISA hasn't even touched their own games to localize yet. This game needs to be top priority to whoever bringing it to west.

Man I'm loving this ps4/vita situation, seems great for the industry as well given how easy it seems.

If only west would embrace it too. At least we got indies that do.

gematsu mentions that Norimoto is also directing, last game he directed was Star Ocean 2.

Sounds like an interesting mix. And maybe they can actually find an audience for this type of RPG with Spike Chunsoft. I'm actually okay with the art style on that page, can't wait for some screens that I can actually see.

Has Takayuki Suguro been confirmed yet?

PS4 is shaping up to be one hell of a JRPG machine. And Japan keeps on delivering on he VITA. That console is faaar from dead.

Really hyped for this. Glad to see Tri-ace making its way back!

Wow, in the States too?
I was thinking about Japan and I just found it: End of Eternity (RoF in Japan) and Dragon Quest VI DS were released the same day (2010/1/28). DQ release date being announced later than EoE of course.

Actually that's for the US (FFXIII, ROF, and GOWIII situation).
