The characters look weird though. Battles look more Tales-y than VP.
Are there bigger images that I'm missing here?

I wouldn't go that far, but things have gotten better over the past few years or so. Still a lot of RPGs MIA from the PSone/PS2-era and outside of wishful/unrealistic thinking in the form of Kickstarters, I doubt we'll ever see the volume of games we had during those days.
I need a second job to buy all these RPGs
Can't wait to add it to my backlog.

The character designer is from Love Plus.
how you can tell with those 15 x 15 screen shot yo
Dem is some eagle eyes, because I can't make anything out of that blurry shot.
Even if that's the reason, I still think it's a funny situation.Spike Chunsoft, tri-Ace and Famitsu probably weren't expecting DQXI tonight either.
Same camera work/perspective as Valkyrie Profile, Odin Sphere, Muramasa, Child of Light...

On that subject, didn't SE do something similar with RoF, releasing a DQ game the same day or something? Poor Tri-Ace![]()
Man I'm loving this ps4/vita situation, seems great for the industry as well given how easy it seems.
Wow, in the States too? They released FFXIII on the very same day RoF was released, and the week before God of War 3 came out. Different types of games but RoF probably suffered a lot.
Want, please come to Vita.

I was thinking about Japan and I just found it: End of Eternity (RoF in Japan) and Dragon Quest VI DS were released the same day (2010/1/28). DQ release date being announced later than EoE of course.
I know you guys are like, conditioned to port beg in every game thread, but it says right in the title that it is coming to Vita.
Yeah, I was surprised SE did it both in Japan and in the US. That can't be a coincidence at this point...Actually that's for the US (FFXIII, ROF, and GOWIII situation).
