Hulk Hogan is on the warpath -- claiming Gawker honcho Nick Denton leaked the story about Hulk using the n-word to poison Hogan's $100 million case against Gawker ... and now he wants Denton thrown in jail.

Hogan just filed new court docs in his sex tape lawsuit against Gawker -- and in the docs, he asks a judge to launch a full-blown investigation into Denton and former Gawker exec A.J. Daulerio to prove they leaked confidential details from the sex tape video, including the n-word story.

In the video, shot in 2012 and published on Gawker, Hogan is seen having sex with a friend's wife in a private bedroom. In an unpublished part of the tape, Hulk goes on a racist rant ... using the n-word multiple times.

In legal docs, filed in a Florida state court, Hogan claims the judge in his $100 million lawsuit deemed the n-word portion of the video "confidential" -- and blocked all parties from making it public.

Now, as Hogan's case against the media outlet is nearing trial, Hulk says he believes Gawker leaked the n-word story to ANOTHER media outlet last week because they knew it would make Hogan look bad and damage his case against them.

In the court docs, Hulk says if an investigation proves his suspicions -- he wants anyone involved in leaking the story LOCKED UP ... and he also wants the judge to automatically declare him the winner in the $100 million lawsuit.

I'm not down on the details of this, but I assumed that that's exactly what happened, no? Where else would the source have come from in this case?

He may have a really strong point here, though the career fallout may have done the damage anyways. But locked up and all that...not likely.

I mean the first thing I thought was that Gawker leaked it. But folks have said it wasn't them so who knows.

Maybe someone else wants him to go down.

Considering Gawker's less than sterling reputation, I find it hard to believe they weren't involved in some way, even if by releasing it via a proxy.

Who knows if that can be proven though. Maybe it is jut a wildcard that somehow had it, but the timing seems awfully convenient.

I believe so. Gawker releasing info either directly or indirectly would be a violation of the typical non-disclosure terms while a case is pending, and most likely would lose them the suit immediately, depending on how the judge decided, but I would be surprised if he didn't rule in favor of Hogan in that case. If it can be proven that is.

Probably no jail time for anyone though. Just a big fine most likely.

In this situation, as usual....Hogan is a babyface. I know, he's been doing things that are heel-like but he's done that his entire babyface run, this is no different.

Gawker and the other tabloids are on the attack...and they keep getting more and more heat with every transcript they release.

Hogan fired back against Gawker saying they should go to jail for this.....that's the babyface complaining about the booking.

Marks are already on Hogans Facebook and Twitter supporting him...next is for the general public to start rooting for him to get it together and he'll get a major pop when he wins the court battle at Wrasslefest.

I don't think the general public will ever root for a hateful, racist piece of shit. There's some people who are determined to find reasons to stick up for Hulk Hogan but they're hateful idiots or ignorant as fuck.

Fuck Hulk Hogan and fuck anyone trying to put a positive spin on this. He is terrible and should not be seen as a hero.

If this was a wrestling angle Hogan would win the suit, some people be tossed in jail.

THEN Hogan would be sued for a hundred million and lose everything again.
 
Are there two tapes? People keep saying "eight years ago" but I keep hearing 2012, which is definitely not eight years ago..
 
If Gawker had the racist rant stuff it makes little sense to have released the sex part and not the racist rant. Nobody wants to see Hulk Hogan bone. But they do love it when a childhood hero falls and is outed as a horrible person. They would have generated a lot more income from the racist stuff than the sex (just from how much bigger of a story this is compared to the sex tape), so it makes little sense to me why they would hold it back.

I mean, it's a much bigger story and it's just the TRANSCRIPTS. Not even the actual video.

If this whole thing turns out that the long standing allegations of Snuka being involved in the murder are true, with Vince and co. potentially aiding and abetting him, it could be even hotter water than Benoit, if that's the case.
 
Another recording has surfaced that captures Hulk Hogan making racially fueled comments over jailhouse phone calls to his son, Nick Bollea, back in May of 2008.

At the time, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office released nearly two weeks worth of jail phone calls. Bay News 9 went back and listened to more of those calls and found the racial comments the public has never heard before.

Hogan calls his son the "n" word and Nick does not repeat that exact word.
