Going to organize a GAF night in Seattle, most likely Wednesday.

I'll post more details later, PM me if you want my number and are interested.

I find the scheduling to once again be totally baffling. Everybody in America who works will miss every single live game for the next week. I mean, at least they put the grand final on a weekend this time unlike last year's stupid ass Monday, but still, they could have found a better way to put this stuff on non-middle-of-the-day-weekdays.

It is hard to please everyone. As a European, I can only watch the first two Bo3 before going to bed.

You will miss some games, but games start today at 10 Pacific and will run until like 8. If you live in Hawaii or Alaska you get screwed but the East Coast can run home after work and catch half a days worth of stuff

Everyone in Europe had to stay up until 01:00 to watch games during TI3/TI4, with the days not finishing until well after 06:00.

Over $18m now.

For whatever reason, the DotA2 website is telling me the broadcast starts in 12 hours 25 mins.

That's BS right? It's in like 2 hours 25 mins isn't it?

For anyone that watched most of Na'vi's descent to the bottom, how would you rate the individual play?

From what I saw It was Sonieko and Dondo trying to hold together a bunch of crap. Funnik was disappointing, as was Artstyle. Xboct is just lawls, can't believe they hadn't already booted him.

Well done shira!

I've only found one error: on the CDEC slide, DkPhobos is listed as position 3 (it should be Xz).

Didn't Dendi and Xboct play for Na'Vi in all 5 TIs? Ferrari can't be the only person who has done it, unlike what's claimed in the IG write up

If I wanted to catch up on TI5 stuff what matches including qualifiers should I watch? Also is there a primer on what the current meta is like I could read or watch? I haven't played or really followed the game in about 11 months. Like TI3 was all about rat dota with Alliance and TI4 was deathball push strats with Newbee. Whats popular now and why?

dragon knight blink dagger
techies
tusk
qop
bane
gyro
naga
lesh

lots of team fighting all game, mostly 40-50 min matches where leads matter but good team play can still bring it back at any point

minus the gyro I think it's in a good, fun spot

Thanks!

QoP, Lesh, and Naga make immediate sense to me looking at patches. I assume tusk is because of aghs? Is there a clear reason why it's DK blink now instead of SB like it used to be? Or is it just a thing that caught on? What's wrong with gyro? Sorry for the questions I haven't actually sat down to watch any games yet.
