There was only one shooter in the conference, Halo 5.
Homefront, but yeah you're right...it was definitely diverse. I don't know what people are talking about lol.

Yep. If it's netting them a few high-level indies for 'first on Xbox' then they're gonna keep doing this dance.
Halo is their premier exclusive though. It would be like Sony putting Uncharted on PC, or God of War.
Would be kinda cool, but I really don't think it will happen. Halo Wars 2 on PC is awesome though, and a natural fit being an RTS.
The only think missing was an RPG really.Homefront, but yeah you're right...it was definitely diverse. I don't know what people are talking about lol.

The variety is petty good.
I would also say platformer, but Microsoft has never made a good platformer.
You release exlusively on xbox, give xbox exclusive content or hit the road.I'm missing something, how does the parity clause allow MS to get timed exclusives?
Crackdown looked extremely underwhelming to me. Quantum Break is a day one purchase. I'm going to buy Scalebound for certain but that main character design is awful.

Scalebound and Crackdown 3 both look really good. Kinda regret not getting the Xbox One during the last big sale. Think they'll do a sale that big before Halo 4 comes out? The current one with a year of live ain't bad, but not quite as good.
It's not the same though because Sony has no stake in PC. Windows 10 is Microsoft's flagship product. If Microsoft is going to say they're committed to PC gaming, then they need to prove it and not only release their B-tier games on the platform.
So you can't launch on X1 otherwise?
Tue developer couldn't have launched it alongside the PS4 version or just ignored the X1 altogether.
I'm no fan of the clause, but I'm not seeing how it factors into them getting timed exclusives.
That costs money.

Yawn, more fucking shooting and one woman army how original.
I may have gone overboard a little bit...

Wait for Black Friday. There will definitely be a sale.
Still no link for the conference?
Are there any of these games that we can consider potentially being at the top of their genre here?
That's all I really care about when I look at exclusives now because I don't have as much time to game as much and I try to play the best/most fun possible. If a game is a multiplat, especially for something like Witcher 3, I'll play it on my PC rather than PS4.
Really? Liked a lot Crackdown seems like it has all the quirks and personality of the first 2

People calling this show terrible are ridiculous. What do you want? XB1 price drop to $10? Free TV with every XB1? Half Life 3 & 4 bundled as well? Free brick of gold preorder bonus?
I guess I was expecting it to be...different? It seems like the very same game I already played but with destruction. I always wanted Crackdown to become something like Tom Clancy's The Division but with super hero agents.
So is We Happy Few a Xbox console exclusive? I think it looked amazing. Very Bioshocky!
The clause is meant to prevent indies from releasing games later on the XBO. If you don't have the resources to release simultaneously on the PS4, PC, and XBO, you'd have to choose which to go first. There's nothing preventing you from releasing on the PS4/PC later on.
Good Lawd...what have U created? ....it's perfect!
I think it was a "console first" on XBO.
Nope, just "first" on Xbox One by way of the Game Preview Program which is basically Xbox equivalent of STEAM early access. It's likely launchign day and date on PC/PS4, just not on PS4 early since they (as of right now) don't have a similar early access program.
Game is awesome by the way, played it at PAX East![]()

Sure, I get that, but that doesn't account for the First on Xbox tag. That implies timed exclusivity, which is usually a three/six month deal and that's not free.

Well, I bought Halo Wars. Time to see why everyone's excited.
Do you think the 100% environment destruction will change the way you approach missions though?
I'm also intrigued by the ecosystem and wondering how deep the cause and effect will be across the network of gangs. I would love a Shadow of Mordor-like system where there are hierarchies in flux based on what the player does.
I may have gone overboard a little bit...
