Why dont minorities like him?

Its not that we don't its just that he has very little name recognition among low info minority voters. I'm working on that though![]()
The question is why are minorities sticking with Hillary? I suspect much of it is Bill, who has an undeservedly good reputation with minorities.
Bernie is far from having a real shot, but it isn't 0. HIllary is going to have to stumble at some point, but Hillary does have feet of clay.
A big reason for my opposition to Hillary is because I think she can lose the general election a lot easier than Bernie can.
Genuinely curious why you think she's more likely to lose the General Election
Holy crap, his crowd in Iowa. This looks way bigger than when Jeb was speaking. Crazy.
He might have to compromise, but that would still be better than what others are offering.I like Sanders' ideas and policies but I'm really confused how any of them would ever be implemented? How would he ever get any of his ideas approved by Congress?

I just have this feeling in my gut that Bernie is gonna win the whole thing. Maybe I'm being delusional but damn would it be sweet
I really think it's gonna be him vs Trump racing toward the finish line
Why dont minorities like him?
Yeah I just don't get it... more education is needed then.
I am minority and he appeals to me greatly. I don't need a lot of what he is proposing but I can see that many others may.
PS: Time to take back this country from big corporations.
Man, Bernie's speech in Iowa was way better than I was expecting. He's far more dynamic and engaging than he was the last time I tuned in to something of his.
Love almost everything he is saying of course, but is his plan to pay for all of this stuff (expanded social security, minimum wage doubling, free tuition, lower interest rates on loans, expanded maternity leave, universal basic income, etc.) just "more taxes for the rich"? It's always difficult to parse out the pragmatic nuts and bolts methodologies candidates have in mind for achieving their (in this case extremely lofty) goals.
Regardless, I'd take an idealist like Bernie over any other candidate I've seen so far. It's really great he's picking up traction and his ideas are getting more exposure, even though I haven't the faintest idea if any of his positions would be realistically accomplished if he actually became president.
I feel like I've seen something similar related to this campaign before. Can't put my finger on it.Bernie's supporters' plan: Political revolution.
Hillary's supporters' plan: Mock Bernie's supporters, insult them and then tell them to vote for their candidate instead, and wait for Supreme Court Justices to die.

I recall a couple saying saying that when Bernie's camp is being accused of something, talking about Hillary is deflection. Now that Hillary's camp is being accused of something, deflecting to Sanders happened on the first responding post.I feel like I've seen something similar related to this campaign before. Can't put my finger on it.
"Today BLM Seattle, with the support of other Black organizers and non-Black allies and accomplices, held Bernie Sanders publicly accountable for his lack of support for the Black Lives Matter movement and his blatantly silencing response to the ‪#‎SayHerName‬ ‪#‎IfIDieInPoliceCustody‬ action that took place at Netroots this year."
They weren't aware of what he had done since Netroots, largely because it hadn't been publicized by the national media. This was an unfortunate matter of miscommunication, which has been blown completely out of proportion, and now there's been all sorts of needlessly hurt feelings amongst obvious allies. I don't see the point in perpetuating it any longer.
Its not that minorities don't like him. Barely anyone who has not followed the senate actually knows who he is. That goes for all groups, but most especially Hillary supporters who are just now hearing about him, as opposed to sticking with Hillary.
Bernie will not throw a punch at Hillary i think and that will be a big mistake. Unless you let people know that Hillary doesn't deserve the approval ratings she's getting based on her previous stances, they aren't going to understand the difference between voting for either one of them.
"She's a democrat that i know, so i'm going to vote for her" isn't really an informed decision
Does he have a speech today?
I think this not attacking Hilary is one of the most classy things about Sanders, and it makes me like him a lot more. Let it be about the politics, not the insults or soap operas.
If you want to insult people, do it to their face rather than cowering in your safe place.Bernie's supporters' plan: Political revolution.
Hillary's supporters' plan: Mock Bernie's supporters, insult them and then tell them to vote for their candidate instead, and wait for Supreme Court Justices to die.
Bernie's got this! Once he gets the nom senator Warren, Emperor B-rock the islamic shock and lil B will campaign for him. Republicans are getting steam rolled.
Don't you think it will come to that eventually? I would imagine so once it's Sanders and Clinton alone in the running, assuming Biden doesn't join the race. It's going to be hard not to go after Hilary when Hilary is aggressively going after Sanders.
If you want to insult people, do it to their face rather than cowering in your safe place.
More importantly, what are the details of this 'political revolution'? Is it the ineffective 'bully pulpit' plan again? Have you been reaching out to non-white voters for Bernie Sanders yet?
Sling mud when you have something solid to stand on.

It's hard to attack someone who represents popular opinion on most things, and only wants to argue policy not personality.Hillary isn't going after Bernie. She's barely even acknowledged him.
There's little for either side to gain by getting drawn into some mudslinging contest.
Are you saying you want to meet in person? If you want to insult people, do it to their face rather than cowering in your safe place.

Fantastic - so his ideas are actually backed up with tangible strategies. It's a crying shame that, even though he's being brought up more in the news now, it's always in relation to Hillary - i.e. "Hillary is losing momentum in X state due to grassroots support for candidate Bernie Sanders!" Our media is such a poisonous influence on American "democracy".Bernie has said he will use the money he shores up from taxing corps that use offshore tax havens, as well as heavy fines on those banks that deal in speculative derivatives trading, as well as cuts in military spending.
He also would let the Bush tax cuts of 2001 and 2003 expire, which would already give us far more revenue by itself, but he has also spoken of reforming the tax code, so that the amount an institution or individual pays is dependent fully on their income status going forward permanently. Those who make the most will be taxed the heaviest of course, but those states that pay disproportionately high for services(like my state New Jersey) would also be affected in a positive manner.

Still rad how high he's climbed though - but I have a bad feeling he's going to plateau after a couple more percentage points. He better kill it at the first debate.
Excellent point - I hadn't thought of that.If Biden runs he may hurt clinton more which could also help quite a bit.
