Whaaat? I had no idea he was rallying in Chicago today! I would have loved to see this in-person.
He's out in Nevada too!?
He's all over the place, but compared to trump and clinton, the news barely even mentions him, even for his speeches. They either compare the poll numbers only in relation to hillary or compare his crowds to Trump's. Its complete BS. He's gotta knock it out of the park during the debates
He is. Soon I'm going to have trouble keeping up. Bernie has lots of energy. Once September hits, I'll likely only post for the really big rallies at night since I have to go back to university.
The media coverage is unfortunate. It's probably because they still consider Hillary as a front runner.
When is the first democrat debate?
But what they are doing is essentially trying to force that narrative, that nobody matters but Hillary, because they think that and because that is 'their' candidate, like the DNC shutting everyone else down so Hillary is in a better position. And so people don't get the full story of all the candidates, and that's why the news corporate media and the political machine have lesser credibility.
This stream keeps freaking lagging.
Use the periscope link.
Hopefully he's rested his voice over the past couple days. Also, it's good to see that the official channel is hosting the video. Maybe they've sorted things out behind the scenes during the short break.
Because it's usually not succesful from what I gathered. Look in the Hillary thread, there are some people who like Bernie the most and won't vote for him because they think that he can't do anything once he is elected or even lose to every repulican candidate.I swear, Bernie's sincerity is just so humane to see. It's not dry catchphrases and spin to appeal to interests. He is very clearly talking about what is.
Why is this so rare to see in American politics? Why must we play petty social games?
And those are reasonable concerns. I am utterly skeptical of America electing an avowed socialist such as Bernie, regardless of how much I like the man or share his views.Because it's usually not succesful from what I gathered. Americans would rather suffer longer before waking up and actually electing someone like Bernie. Common sense isn't much of a 'thing' in America.
Nice. Apparently 4,500 people came out.

howd u embed stuff like that?
Maybe. I wouldn't know. Tell me, what part of that addresses my very real concerns about the elect-ability of a socialist in America's current political climate? Snide remarks and insults are nice, but they fail to sway opinions. If this country would sooner have an Atheist or Muslim President before a socialist, why would I pin my hopes in such an important election on Bernie? If Bernie waited just a couple of weeks to visit here, the Burners would've jumped that turnout to 10k, lol.
Its probably the same attitude that spineless democrats had when they got their asses whopped in the 2014 midterms yet a super-majority of liberal ballots passed.
I really don't want to hear liberals complaining about all the states upping the minimum wage, legalizing weed, or adding LGBT protections via ballot yet Republicans win the House, Senate, and Presidency in 2016.
I haven't given him that label and I don't believe he is radically left. I simply do not have faith that an America that would elect someone like him exists at the moment. It is so crazy to call him "fringe" when there is nothing fringe or out-there-radical-left about him. All it really speaks to is how right-winged america has been for a hell of a long time.
Oh shit. I missed the Charleston rally. Where is it?
Look at all those 20 something white liberal college educated males! That place was so packed, they had two overflow rooms, which Bernie addressed separately.
Liked this bit from a caller on C-SPAN regarding Sanders:
