They're going to play the periscope link in the youtube channel. The periscope link is live right now in the fundraiser but Bernie hasn't started speaking yet.
Edit: Periscope link wasn't working properly. It's fixed now.

Whaaat? I had no idea he was rallying in Chicago today! I would have loved to see this in-person.

I try to keep the OP updated as best I can so I had Chicago on there since yesterday night. The campaign team sent the word out only a few hours before. It was really a short notice. For the most up to date schedule, /r/SandersForPresident is your best bet.

He's out in Nevada too!?

He's all over the place, but compared to trump and clinton, the news barely even mentions him, even for his speeches. They either compare the poll numbers only in relation to hillary or compare his crowds to Trump's. Its complete BS. He's gotta knock it out of the park during the debates

He is. Soon I'm going to have trouble keeping up. Bernie has lots of energy. Once September hits, I'll likely only post for the really big rallies at night since I have to go back to university.

The media coverage is unfortunate. It's probably because they still consider Hillary as a front runner.

When is the first democrat debate?

But what they are doing is essentially trying to force that narrative, that nobody matters but Hillary, because they think that and because that is 'their' candidate, like the DNC shutting everyone else down so Hillary is in a better position. And so people don't get the full story of all the candidates, and that's why the news corporate media and the political machine have lesser credibility.

I believe it's October 13th by CNN.

Just a day or so ago, Fredricka from CNN asked one of her guests a question about Bernie, and the guy completely ignored her by mentioning Hillary. It was irrelevant to the question. This was after they just spent the last few minutes about Hillary. Fredricka later cut to break after he spoke and that was that.

Large crowd tonight. Bernie was also in vegas earlier on.

Edit: Added periscope link.
Edit 2: Added another msm link. It has the best quality.

Bernie's voice is getting rougher and rougher. I like his enthusiasm but he's going for being the first president who can only speak in a whisper.

This speech seems angrier, from all the other ones ive seen.

EDIT: Id really like a biopic of Bernie played by Larry David. He sounds just like his George Steinbrenner.

Hopefully he's rested his voice over the past couple days. Also, it's good to see that the official channel is hosting the video. Maybe they've sorted things out behind the scenes during the short break.

Streams from the official channel needs to become the norm. Periscope streams are unreliable most of the time.

By the way, coverage for Bernie's rally have begun.

I would say it's not as energetic as this morning, but it's definitely more diverse. A lot more minorities including asians.

I swear, Bernie's sincerity is just so humane to see. It's not dry catchphrases and spin to appeal to interests. He is very clearly talking about what is.

Why is this so rare to see in American politics? Why must we play petty social games?

Because it's usually not succesful from what I gathered. Look in the Hillary thread, there are some people who like Bernie the most and won't vote for him because they think that he can't do anything once he is elected or even lose to every repulican candidate.

And those are reasonable concerns. I am utterly skeptical of America electing an avowed socialist such as Bernie, regardless of how much I like the man or share his views.

Shit has to hit the fan so to speak before people wake up and elect someone like Bernie.

Americans would rather suffer longer before waking up and actually electing someone like Bernie. Common sense isn't much of a 'thing' in America.

It is so crazy to call him "fringe" when there is nothing fringe or out-there-radical-left about him. All it really speaks to is how right-winged america has been for a hell of a long time.

We're getting there, slowly but surely. I'm a long harper on getting minimum incomes to citizens before automation cripples it, and while the American people are still lacking common sense, the banks are now starting to realize this solution must happen. Citigroup in particular has now started to talk about it, which is also for a public option in the health care front, as well.

Of course, these are the same banks Bernie wishes to break up, so I don't think they'll be behind him in addressing this solution we need. It's funny to see them slowly wake up to these realities, and even before the people wake up themselves.

Nice. Apparently 4,500 people came out.

If Bernie waited just a couple of weeks to visit here, the Burners would've jumped that turnout to 10k, lol.

Its probably the same attitude that spineless democrats had when they got their asses whopped in the 2014 midterms yet a super-majority of liberal ballots passed.

I really don't want to hear liberals complaining about all the states upping the minimum wage, legalizing weed, or adding LGBT protections via ballot yet Republicans win the House, Senate, and Presidency in 2016.

howd u embed stuff like that?

I highlight the image code then click on the "insert link" button to insert the url of the site. It's actually pretty simple, but can get confusing if there's a lot going on when laying everything out. If you quote the OP, you can see this. I create the images including gifs using photoshop, upload to imgur, and copy the bb code (image code). Then I get the website url, shorten it with google url shortener, and attach it to the bbcode with gaf's "insert link" button.

Maybe. I wouldn't know. Tell me, what part of that addresses my very real concerns about the elect-ability of a socialist in America's current political climate? Snide remarks and insults are nice, but they fail to sway opinions. If this country would sooner have an Atheist or Muslim President before a socialist, why would I pin my hopes in such an important election on Bernie?

I haven't given him that label and I don't believe he is radically left. I simply do not have faith that an America that would elect someone like him exists at the moment.

Oh shit. I missed the Charleston rally. Where is it?

It's still happening, almost done however. The links are a few posts up.

Edit: I realised that what you meant by where could have been the location. If that was the case, it's at the Charleston Convention Center in North Charleston.
