That wouldn't technically be it. GZ was in 74, while Otacon was born in 80 I believe.

It makes sense. Huey is a misogynistic fuck. Stereotypically angry that Strangelove hates him and then learns to walk to impress her. Probably gets in an argument with her, Kills his wife. Then tries to fuck MB because 'muh love on the battlefield.' Then later on marries probably some struggling single mom, tries to drown Emma, instead of confronting his oedipal son. Yeah you got it tough boy but you're crazy.
 
Most S Rank times for missions are around 10-15 minutes. The secret mission S Rank time is 30 minutes.
12 secret tapes are unlocked by completing the secret mission.

It's only after Strangeloves love 'dies', that she gives the only other intellectual being nearby a chance. But he's a clingy motherfucker.

Given that Sutherland is voicing the fake Snake, does this mean Hayter will return back as Big Boss?

Also the guide mentioned Solid Snake numerous times. Can anyone provide any context to it?
 
I feel like Quiet not speaking out of respect to Big Boss/Venom Snake/Jack Bauer/The Dude (I don't know what to call him anymore!) is a very romanticised idea that doesn't work in practice. She would have had practical reasons on missions to speak to him before he was bitten by a snake. 'Oh, no, there's an enemy sneaking up on Big Boss, I should warn him - but, no, I respect him too much, I will just let him die. R-e-s-p-e-c-t.'

She's not really deprived of her words if she's choosing not to speak, Kojima. Sniper Wolf costume, though! I'm a bit confused if she sacrifices herself for The Dude, or if she lives on, and wanders off into the desert? I hope she lives on. Go forth, Quiet.

Honestly though, if they used Hayter in GZ and suddenly we switch to Kiefer you'd think something is up,
If Solid is in(as an adult)in an epilogue/bonus mission etc, its definitely Hayter.

Also I could see the Hayter stuff going over the top because they actually did give him a heads up and he sees the reason he wasn't wanted
and starts complaining about it left and right to sell us that his role was stolen.
I mean Kojima and co might not but the voice director would definitely had told him and not just recast without him like he had said.

Pretty sure even Kojima's writing isn't as bad as the writing in EVA. I mean sure 12 yo kids mentally masturbate to MGS I'm sure but at least it's not for all the wrong reasons like thinking EVA is some masterpiece that has good chars.

Small cockpit sounds like Kojima watched Snowpiercer and had to get that in there. Goes along very well with his child soldier themes.
 
Is there any confirmation as to what soldiers and POW's carry over from GZ? Or any other benefits from a save file aside from Cuba missions and sneaking suit?

No confirmation, but extort all POWs, Hideo and the four special soldiers (Finger, Eye, Informant and Bald Man) just to be sure. Findinh all tapes is surely good too.

The guide has confirmed that The Finger and The Eye will carry over from Ground Zeroes to The Phantom Pain.

Cut off the pilot arms and legs. Or it's probably never meant to be ridden by human pilot, that small cockpit is there for adjustment outside of combat situation or something like that. In battlefield they probably using AI or external control. At least that what i think...

I do think it was partially supposed to have AI controlling the new Metal Gear. That's why they needed the Mammal Pod.
