My interepration of this is that it's like a wrestling match. All three parties in the scene (Ishmael, Ahab and Quiet) have read the script and know how the scene must end. Ishmael's identity hasn't been revealed to the audience yet, so it's important he doesn't give anything away. Since the outcome is already decided, jumping on Quiet or limply throwing objects at her is fine filler until the time slot has been filled and the match has to end.
You know, sort of like how Kojima has written everything.

Let me give you all highlights about the story as I've gone through it so far
-No clue who Ishmael is
-Ishmael said "Who am I? You're talking to yourself."
-Face creation has an effect on your character when it's shown in the mirror but it goes away
-You meet skull face in the mission "where do the bee's sleep"
-You see the ST-84 for the first time along with a skulls boss battle
-Mantis is always with skull face and controls the ST-84
-Quiet is met during free roam
-Quiet's body cant take water on it but can shower
-DD is found free roaming
-Huey defects to diamond dogs
-Huey created ST-84
-The Boss' AI can't recognize Venom
-Child soldiers killed = mission failed

There are quite a lot of cutscenes so I can't throw out a number. You sometimes get forced back on MB for cutscenes and randomly during mission. Idk around 12 maybe?

Does anyone remember in the original E3 trailer that showed off gameplay. There was something about dynamic cqc where big boss grabs a weapon out of an enemies hands and turns it on him.
I don't remember being able to do anything like that in Ground zeroes. I take that mechanic didn't make Phantom Pain as well?

Not sure if its in GZ, pretty sure its not, but the text in game said to hold R2 while using CQC too steal an enemies weapon out of their own hands.

Dude actually just did it on the stream i'm watching.
Some of your units will have higher stats in areas than Snake. So for instance if you need a special plant, instead of Snake you would use someone with a S rank in that area of expertise. Anyone you capture can be used instead of Snake accept for the buddy units.

When you play the game, Listen to the ocelot briefings (namely ocelot briefing 3)
It gives the background info of the formation of the patriots. Tells you how origins were formed. Also tells you what caused the split of the patriots, The le efants terrible project.

in GZ i'm pretty sure you can, R2 once or twice then L2 to snatch enemy's weapon holding him up.
