Some asshole sent me and an ending spoiler, i will copy paste it here, please tell me if is truth or not. thankis :(

BB is dead and you play as Zero.

I think even in MGS1 it was zooming on pixelated boobs and butts. But yeah back then it was more cheeky, kind of like in some 80s anime.

Thats a downright shame. A franchise known for stellar and memorable boss fights and youre saying there isnt even 1 good boss fight as good as past games?

I wonder what made Kojima shift his style so dramatically. Maybe it was the open world -- but why not just have some one-off enclosures that require a little bit of loading?

Yes but it doesn't matter what the context of the scene is, the female characters are constantly sexualized. It's so creepy in this game. I feel like if MGS1 was made today the scene where Meryl gets sniped would suddenly be accompanied by a pan over her body if this is supposed to be indicative of Kojima's attitude towards female characters nowadays.

Shame too because there is a genuinely non creepy cutscene in the game.

Just saw the video of Quite dancing and laying in the rain. She is the most blatant fan service character in the franchise. Did Joosten do her own mocap? Koj you sly devil you. All this talk of deeds and shame, he should have just come clear. The real shame is she could have been a great character if her costume wasnt so tacky. At least great cosplay will come out of it lol.

There's no good boss fights, period. Man on Fire is okay but it's a little awkward.

Didn't see that scene but I felt she was a good/great character in the end.

Seriously why zero isnt in this game? and the cutscenes when you reach the helipad in mission 30 to fighting sahalendriouswsadas were really terrible

"who is doing this?"
"Suich a lust for revenge"
"whoooooooooooooooooooooo"

So am I the only one who dropped an air strike on Quite? Tried sniping here but after 3 head shots and a restart i said fuck it and took her out with a bombardment. It was very satisfying.

I didn't pick this game up because I felt like I would be too lost as I never played a MGS game before. However, I just saw Quiet's ending on Youtube after reading the wiki for context, I have to say...
wow, that was very well done. The music was perfect. Actually made me feel bad and I'm not even playing!
. Hmmm

what's the deal with the battle gear? Can you somehow take it on missions?

You can. You equip it in the same section where you select a character in the briefing screen before starting a mission.

Edit: My mistake, I thought you meant the different suits you can develop for Big Boss.

I don't like the fan service she brings but she's a good character and works really well with Big Boss.

So I beat the game last night (3am woohoo) and then watched the Mission 51 deleted scene and I straight-up can't believe that's not in the game. Jesus Christ, Konami.

It's a plotline that's pretty integral to the game.

As of now Eli,Tretij and Metal Gear Sahelanthropus ride into the sunset, never to be seen again, with no indication given to the player that the plotline just won't be resolved.

It sucks, but it seems like Kojima bit off more than he could chew on that one. It's a new environment. That means new assets for trees, and rocks, and sand. And the scale of it seems beyond anything attempted in the rest of the game.

Maybe Konami will make DLC of it somewhere down the line.

Just watched it, the whole second chapter of the game felt like it was rushed out and I guess this just proves it.

what if the mission 51 leads to a new Zone of the Enders game, I'm not alone in this.

I'm almost certain they shunted Kojima off and used Kojipro to finish the game quicker by cutting content. Anybody checked to see if Kojima stopped being as enthusiastic about the game on Twitter at any point? That might be when he got told to cut stuff.

It's still his fault. Time and budget management is a thing everyone in this industry have to deal with. It would be too easy otherwise.

Ocelot: "Boss, you have woken up from a coma after 9 years, and now you are full of venom, and an insatiable thirst for revenge."

Snake: "..... I do...?"

That's all I could think of while Ocelot was giving his speech at the end of the prologue...

Finished it last night. Really don't know what to think of the story's conclusion.

Is the scene with Paz actually in the game (teased in chapter 2)?

Yep, budget and milestones are a thing for a reason, they had 6 years to make the game. All this reeks of Destiny to me, the story gutted and patched together so it kinda makes sense.

Like Xander said, they way Chapter 2 is just Chapter 1 missions but harder is, well, it's un fucking believable...

"If x thing is good in an mgs game, it is Kojima's fault."

"If x thing is bad in an mgs game, it is Konami's fault."

Unless it is specifically related to publishing, thats not how it works. We have to appreciate the tons and tons of work that go into making a game like MGSV but it must also be recognized that deadlines exist for a reason and failure to meet them is on the shoulders of the devs. 3 years is not outrageously short dev time. Its not a Fallout New Vegas Obsidian type situation.

It really upsets me that quiet leaves permanently. I feel like I have to S-rank everything before it gets to that point, just in case there is a mission where it would be easier to use her.

Whats up with the pic of New York City at the end of the game? And is that the reason why people think there is going to be some sort of Sept. 11th patch? Now that we know the MSX tapes dont do anything and there is no going back to Camp Omega ive seen people guess that something is being added on 9/11 but I cant find any kind of information to back this up. I do know that MGO will be up in October, but I believe that is all the extra content we will be getting.

Feels like this needed at least another 6 months of development time.

Gameplay is rock solid (10/10) but everything else just feels like it was slapped together.

Another example of how the games have gone out of their way to portray Big Boss as a good guy; not only does he never put down Liquid, he tries to help him, tries to save his life, goes mad when he thinks he killed him, and tells him "don't blame yourself, blame me".

This doesn't look like someone who would keep reminding him he's weak.

The way that line was delivered, Venom is very much doing a dic thing. He wouldn't pull the trigger on liquid instead leaving him to die in the napalm, while giving him the option to kill himself if he wanted to. The weird way he says "blame me" feels like Venom already knows he's not BB and is ruining BB's image systematically.. Sort of a - "hunt me down, if you want to kill me."

It helped the story on so many levels... how the fuck did the crucial ending of the game get cut!?

I started again, just to play with her, will use butterfly emblem so she don't leave me.Then leave her missions till last and then reload my save.

I love the fight fight with quiet, and the battle against the skulls unit is awesome as well, but I still wish we got the King of the Flies mission...
