Nobody in their right mind would defend Goodell as commissioner but the NFL had every right to punish Brady, this ruling is a joke. So if Judge Berman felt there wasn't sufficient evidence to back up the NFL's punishment I assume that means Brady's equipment guys who were caught on text in embarrassing detail complying with Brady's weekly deflate requests who were thrown under the bus and lost their jobs will also be exonerated by the judge and reinstated immediately with back pay, right? I also don't understand hardcore fans and certain veteran players who have been defending this as "Oh well, other people have done this." Right. So if kids in little/pee wee football leagues would obviously never be told by these same people that it's OK to do things like deflate the football or cut corners with the rules then why on earth wouldn't adult pro players and coaches also be held to the same unwavering standards as children?

Stinkles just needs to go and finish working on Halo 5 instead of parading horseshit around like he's 100% correct.

Why bother? Halo 5 is going to be shit because I say so. I don't have to back it up with actual facts, I can just say there are facts and that's that.

Won't someone think of the children!

Their previous track record supports your theory. I'm 100% behind it.

Of course his perspective is skewed. He's a guy who actively shills for a company that stole millions of dollars from gamers. That says enough about his character.

Or maybe fix that abortion of a "game" they made.

you're gonna get banned

guys it's not cool to personally attack someones personal life and work because you're mad that he thinks your QB is a cheater or something...

You're right. I'm sorry Frankie. Though you're "facts" and feelings on this are still built on a pile of horseshit.

WHAT A VICTORY! TODAY WE ARE ALL PATRIOTS!!

Like the Patriots of the past we have taken down a tyrant

Great news!

The suspension was ridiculous and way over anything that would be acceptable.

But I have to say... I do feel bad for Jimmy Garoppolo and was kind of looking forward to see him playing in a game that matters.

Ahahahaha. This is the result of knowing nothing about what's happening. Try doing a little reading next time. I'll start by giving you a hint - the CBA, central to this ruling, doesn't apply to non-players.

Your desire to be mad is overwhelming your ability to justify it.

Seriously guys? FFS, Im a Pats fan, and this is just disgusting.

Just goes to show that the rules only apply to certain people (unless I'm a fan of them).
More like it, if this happened to one of your guys it wouldn't be nearly as big of a deal.

I wasn't attacking the game. I was making an analogy about how Stinkles isn't supporting his argument without anything but vitriol. I don't particularly care about Halo 5, but I'm not going to criticize someone in game development. Shit ain't easy at all.

I don't follow what you're trying to get at. Mind elaborating?

The employees aren't subject to the CBA, so this ruling has nothing to do with them. And beyond that the NFL had the Pats fire them and then required they get permission from the league if they wanted to hire them back.

You should probably read my response...You completely missed my point at the very least.

I dont want to derail the thread, but even if it was an analogy, I just feel that using his personal things to prove out a point it kind of uncalled for. Let keep Gafers Jobs out of this, anyway Im done with this topic.

On Topic, The NFL and Godell just keep showing how much of a joke they are, that last paragraph in Godell statement says it all, Basically " We are going to keep pushing the circus, but please focus on Football"

Its also sad how some Fans here are mad about this because Cheaterz!!!1!!, don't see the good in this, Godell was just abusing his power, just like he did all those year denying the effects on concussions.

I think he was trying to imply that if the 2 dudes aren't guilty, then they should be reinstated no problem even if it takes approval of the league.

I agree they should get their jobs back, but the fact that they haven't isn't a reflection of some kind of acceptance of guilt on the part of the Patriots. It's a separate issue.
