Finally over. The truth came out, the haters still in play with no knowledge.
Let's play some football!
No. The judge saw it as the NFL overreaching. This decision has to do with the process not if Brady did something wrong.
Brady is free. Brady is innocent. Brady is God.

Why bother? Halo 5 is going to be shit because I say so. I don't have to back it up with actual facts, I can just say there are facts and that's that.
amazingTheir previous track record supports your theory. I'm 100% behind it.

At the end of the day, cheated or not, it basically confirms the punishment and the effect was ridiculous, just like comparing it to PEDs

And he doubles down!!!! Exceptional
I wonder if ESPN will point out all the inconsistencies in the report and address their refusal to correct false reports.
Finally someone gets it.
Oh completely. I always thought this whole thing was hilarious. I don't expect Goodell to remain the commissioner much longer because anything legal related, he tends to really shit the bed making the NFL the current joke of the month.
Has anyone read anything on what the NFL appeal is going to do in terms of allowing Brady go play? Since the suspension was nullified, he should be good to go even as the appeal goes on right?

God bless America.
You said "contrary to the evidence," implying there is evidence to prove they are innocent...
So you tell me
Despite not ruling on it the judge has made it pretty clear, through questioning and his final ruling, how he feels about the Wells Report and the alleged cheating.
On May 6, 2015, the findings of the Pash/Wells "independent" Investigation were made public.
Can the Patriots as a team still appeal? Seemed like they just took it on the chin on the assumption Brady would not be harshly punished, if at all. And they ended up being very, very wrong.
Also, does the judge's ruling also vacate the monetary fine Brady got?

Well at least Goodell hasn't lost the respect of the players...
I think they might be able to, but I doubt they will. Just let it go and move on at this point. I hate that the NFL took away a first round pick, but let's just put this joke behind us and play football.

Nah pats should go for it
I don't think the Pats' case would be as strong as Brady's.

I think I said that, and I responded to your question on the previous page.
Innocent until proven guilty. And no, the team is in fact NOT being punished for cheating.
People keep saying the Pats should go for it because Brady won. Brady had the CBA working in his favor, as well as a union... the Pats as a team do not...they would be suing themselves pretty much as owners in the league, and Robert Craft would basically alienate himself from the other owners. It will not and was never going to happen.
LOL
Goodell is not going to be at the Patriot's game. What a loser PAB.
We are SOOOOOO going to be chanting "Rooooooooooger! Roooooooooooooger!"

Thanks for the level headed response. I agree the Wells report is horrendously flawed. The Pats'response to it was pretty laughable too though. Not saying Brady is guilty to the extent many are, but the whole thing has seemed very fishy from the start... from both the NFL and the Pats.
I am slowly reading through the decision. I found it amusing that Judge Berman quoted the word independent when he was referring to the Well Report.

There was a report put together by an outside group, AEI, that pretty much destroyed the science and methods in the Wells Report. No need to rely on the Pat's response.
But how do you turn a blind eye to the patriots response?
For example, the pats explaining mcnallys referring to himself as the deflator by saying he was trying to lose weight...
EDIT: im not saying that is enough to punish brady. Its not.
The explanation for that is their response was bullshit.
