can anyone help me with the mission called Angel with broken wings

I am at the camp type place where Malak is supposed to be. Ive spent about 15 minutes just walking around killing everyone. I interrogated loads of people and nobody is telling me where he is. I found 2 prisoners that I extracted, but that apparently wasnt the guy. Where the fuck is this person
I had the same problem.
He's just in one of those rooms on western (?) part of the fortress. Lighting there was dim so I just didn't see him laying there.

Felt pretty stupid afterwards.

After that spoiler from a few pages back...I think it's time for me to bounce out of the thread for a while. Damn, it would have been nice to see as a surprise too.

I have no idea whats going on.
He is not here, nobody is telling me where he is. I have killed everyone and checked in every room

Weird. Try checking the roads leading up there, maybe the jeep with Malak (the one you see with the APC in the first camp area) never actually got to the stronghold.

Mission 6 had the best level design since... I don't remember, but it's just perfect. Now I'm doing side ops with the sneaking suit, listening to some 80's badass music, feels damn good man.

I salute you sir, S ranking this mission is very impressive.

MGS3-Snake-Salutes-The-Boss-Grave.jpg

It's easy tbh. All depends on how you do it. But so far, I haven't encountered a real difficult S rank yet.

Just seen the words on the mission list I had nightmares about.

"[Extreme] Traitors Caravan"

I think I'm going to cry.

I got an S rank in it. It isn't too bad, actually.

I think
as part of the mission they surround the truck with stronger tanks, and when the Skulls turn everyone into zombies you can pilot those tanks, if you don't destroy them beforehand.

I absolutely loved mission 6. Reflecting on everything that I did in that chapter was shocking.

Because it's not a spoiler? She was in the trailers and in the game she is just "there". You have had literally the same amount of narrative build-up as I have.

Tell me how it can possibly negatively impact your experience? Thanos all over again...

It's not up to you to decide what a spoiler is. Some of us avoid trailers and go into the game with as little info as possible.

Not hard to use a spoiler tag, c'mon.

See it's been ages and you still don't have the decency to spoiler tag it.

haha wow
He was sitting inside a jeep parked in the stronghold. Must have walked by that a dozen times

Um, no? I spoilered the entire post, but obviously I can't edit other people's posts quoting me.

It's clear we need a course on how to tag spoilers.

Step 1: Provide context for your tagged content.

Bad example:
At the end you find out Snake was 3 kids in a trenchcoat, the WHOLE time.
Bad example: "Yo wtf
At the end you find out Snake was 3 kids in a trenchcoat, the WHOLE time.
"
Fixed version: "End game spoiler
At the end you find out Snake was 3 kids in a trenchcoat, the WHOLE time.
"

Step 2: Ensure your tags are correct before you hit the post button.

It's not hard, folks. You'd all be gone if it was up to me.

It flows in a way that feels real and natural, truly something special.

@post above me: I think I got the sneaking suit by playing Ground Zeroes, right people? It's the Solid Snake suit from Metal Gear Solid, not just the skin. Enemies have a hard time hearing you with that and looks badass.

Wish I hadn't seen that spoiler a couple pages back but honestly, I saw pics kinda confirming it months before release. Just didn't know what the context was. Still kinda don't.

Still annoyed either way. Anyway. I haven't grown tired of the game yet, but I enjoyed arkham knight also. Even tho alot of people complained about that being repetitive as well.

That game made me feel like batman and this game makes me feel like a super secret bad ass soldier with hella shit at his disposal.

Seemed pretty easy to distinguish for me.

Kaz is either chirpy or sad (which is terrible; he sounds like he has two different personalities). Ocelot has a bad gruff accent.

The more I play the more easily I can distinguish everyone, but yeah, early on I had a lot of trouble discerning just who was talking between Ocelot and Miller (and even Big Boss, too). Everyone's just a bunch of muttery old white guy in this. Ocelot's accent is there, though usually not very pronounced. Can be hard to pick up on from time to time.

I finally got to play for an hour last night. While I had no idea what was happening, I finish and loved every second of the prologue. Hopefully I get more time to play tonight.

Okay. Well I'm glad it's not up to you. I'll go back and fix it again.

But not for you. For honor.

this was way easier for me than my first encounter, since you know how to deal with
the skulls
, just stopped the truck in a place
without people
and killed them

How do you mark a staff member "viewed" so that the little "new!" dot/light goes away on the Staff Management page and the Mother Base tab?

Drives me crazy.

Pastmission 20 spoiler it more mechanic then plot question.

how do I make Battle Gear is it just play missions or some hidden menu. I went in Hueys room and he just goes hi snake nothing else looked around it empty

I fixed it. As much as I could.

;)

I hate being the whiner, but I hate being spoiled more.

Just remember to give some indication as to where you are in the game.

So for example.

Motherbase Medical Bay character spoiler
i hated the retcon too
. It's such a a cop out in my opinion.

Is better than

"Holy shit
dat character be crazy yo
. Anyone else?"

The first one gives a person a vague idea as to what you may be talking about while the other could be anything.

Played 8 hours. More or less enjoying it, but these are some criticisms I've got of it so far:

- Open world 'take the outpost' style gameplay is derivative of other games and repetitive
- Story is densely packed into the background which is a poor delivery system for something which this much information to portray
- Helicopter feels like a waste of time 10 missions in, it should be skippable, credits are pointless (although you can skip through most of this at least)
- Waiting for Mother Base to feel important beyond being a weapons shop you can access in the menu
- Accessing cassette tapes should be much more intuitive if it is supposed to provide entertainment during the dull travelling sections. The constant radio and UI chatter going over tapes doesn't help either.

Overall I would've preferred a normal MGS style game over this. This kind of thing you can get in places like Far Cry, GTA, Skyrim, Fallout - you name it. I felt a bit fatigued in the 2nd mission already because I could foresee the gameplay of the next 50 ahead of me. As of mission 10 that prediction hasn't been disproven. I hope as more gameplay elements get brought up and the story progresses things that to feel more distinct but right now this is a fine game which just kind of improves on an open world formula that has already been done.

Have to agree with all of this, especially the last comment. When MGSV is at it's best, its an incredible experience. When I'm still slogging through Afghanistan wondering why I should care about anything the game is forcing me through, it's hard not to stop and open Mad Max.

If I remember right Malak should be right at the beginning in a jeep parked out front of the base, if you wait too long they drive off to a second location, it's technically possible to finish this mission in under 5 minutes if you're willing to go a bit rambo.

How are people saying the game is repetitive? This is the least repetitive MGS game in the series by far and it's not even close. So many options and the level design is fantastic

That stuff gets to me too. Not sure why it's so difficult to tag things as viewed. Have this problem with the items development menu as well.

Reading all the trouble maker stuff. Pretty sure before I left for work three fights broke out and some dudes got sent to the medical bay. Looks like I'll have to do some "layoffs" when I get back.

Don't suppose you can physically throw the guys off of MB or construct a pit where
Diamond Dog
will eat them.

Thank god I was able to get
Malak
back by playing the mission again, he's now in Sick Bay and I will be keeping an eye on troubled staff members

How do I send workers out to get resources and do missions? With an FOB?

Be nice if servers were up for the daily rewards.
