From what I heard, it sounded like they were just speculating like the rest of us. Hell, they were speculating about TGS's potential reveal at one point.
If they are, then why talk about TGS as if they don't know anything?
why not? if people like bifu know the roster than what makes you think people who get the latest builds to stream, some of which are capcom employees don't? come on.
It could just be Capcom UK letting a local FGC meet-up demonstrate the game. My point is that, why hint at certain characters but not know about others (specifically characters who are about to be revealed)?

Ono most likely didn't hint at those 3 because they were recurring characters from SFIV. Karin would fit with all of the other characters who got hints (all of which weren't in SFIV).
if you're not aware, scene figureheads (lel) have always been close to internal sources, and these days that's more true than ever. it's a given that plenty of people know what's what. this isn't even some whitelist joke, it's just the reality of friendships (and even development, arguably).

Ono only teases characters who weren't in SFIV, so it can't be either of those two. More likely than not, it's a tease of Karin's Critical Art, which wouldn't be far off from her Super in Alpha 3.

Not exactly. Karin's hella popular over in Japan, this could be a beefed-up version of her Alpha 3 super, & Ono doesn't tease characters who were already in SFIV. Plus it's too soon for either Zen or Laura after Rashid's reveal (more so if Laura is indeed Brazilian).
