Personally, not worth an exotic slot. There are legendary snipers that are better and you can use your exotic slot for something else.

It was one of those expectations things, I guess. And I got extremely lucky with Mars: got 3 drops out of 4 consecutive nodes and collected all 10 in less than an hour. But yeah, this stuff shouldn't be in the game period.

I'm fine with it when we're given a date to look forward to (like the Chaperone quest). Not fine with turning in a quest and wondering if you broke it, until a new quest magically appears on the director 2 weeks later.

I don't need instant gratification on everything. Waiting for things is one of the best things about Destiny. It's fun to see what Xur brings on Friday. Besides, it's usually waiting a handful of days, not weeks/months.
