Yeah, that a pretty good reason not to believe in Jay, Iris. We know Jay Garrick is legit, but why do you guys think he's legit?

so with the whole 52 breaches and the multiverse, are they saying each breach is to a different earth? because that is what i thought first, like a little nod to the comic books. But they mention that zoom could come through any one of those breaches, so was i wrong? does it actually mean that there are just 52 openings connecting earth's 1 and 2?
 
Patty is fun, hopefully everyone learned their lessons from Felicity.

Also it will suck when Barry drops her for Iris again.

Well Jay said zoom want to kill flash on any world so I would assume he can bring whomever from any world. So it could be both really until we find out more
 
So Jay's done the lightning thing before so either Barry went too ham and accidentally killed Sand Demon or that was kind of an oversight.
Or the dude's somehow still alive.

I've been on a media blackout about the show because I didn't want to get myself spoiled with the story.

I'll hope this Zoom/Reverse Flash is not the big bad for this season again.

The whole 'team taking down metahuman of the week + side plot leading up to Big Bad' format is a little old to me now. Here's hoping we can get past in the near future.

Patty comes with the same built-in pass that Jay does.

Why does everyone give Barry shit for not trusting Jay, despite many great reasons not to? He's Jay Garrick, yo. We already know he's good.

Spivot is getting the same thumbs up.

If Arrow is any indication then we'll be sticking with that formula for the shows duration. It's been a successful formula for them so I doubt they're in any hurry to ditch it.

She's too eager to get on this metahuman task force. I'm about ready to call it as the midseason surprise.
 
Overall a really good episode and much better than ep 1, however I hate the whole Cisco hiding his powers from everyone because of reasons. It's a tired trope.
 
I am really excited about the possibilities of seeing so many Earth 2 versions of the characters. Makes me wonder though: Is there an Earth 1 Jay Garrick?
 
Big improvement over the premiere. Patty is pretty cool, and I LOVE Jay. Thank you CW for getting Teddy Sears to take his shirt off three times in this episode, including the now classic strategically placed wires to frame the pecs shot.

I really hope they go there and tackle finding Earth 2 Barry just for kicks and giggles. Amazing episode, the amount of plot twists at the end was insane. Ex-West! Dr. Stein heart attack! Harrison Wells! Love all of them.
 
Much better episode than the premiere, I really should start writing stuff down as I watch it. I wonder what angle they're going to go with Momma West. Weird how she was never really talked about and now she shows up.

Maybe going using a version of the comic story? Could play into Legends of Tomorrow.

I think Professor Stein is collapsing because something bad is happening to Ronnie (who's absorbed to the other world by the wormhole).
 
Great episode. Barry's distrust was dickish, but he made a good point. Jay Garrick was cool. World needs more out-and-out good guys. Zoom is spooky. I hope they up the insane psycho factor with him. Seems like he jump between worlds easily enough.

I like Patty! Don't make her all 'Crying Felicity' pls. Just get her in the know and onto Team Flash as quickly as possible.

Barry's hardcore now, straight up killing Metas. Fuck yeah, love it. Not that he needs to be bloodthirsty, but it makes more sense when there are certain metas that just can't be taken in safely. Barry is essentially a superhero cop.

Wells! Love that he retains his swagger no matter which universe it is. I hope Earth 2 Wells (assuming this is indeed Earth 2 Wells) is a solid good guy and he comes to Earth 1 and stays there, and then him, Joe, and Jay can be triple-dad to Barry.

Did Stein have a stroke or is he just unable to survive without Ronnie?

That was a damn good episode. Jay's introduction was handled really well and I already like Patty.

Sand Demon was underwhelming. Wish he could have done more with his powers than just giant fists. I can't complain too much though when the focus was on Jay and the rest of the episode was very good.

Excited for next week. I love Leonard Snart and now we're getting
Michael Ironside as papa Cold?
Hell yes.
